    Japanese macaques at Jigokudani hotspring in Nagano have become notable for their winter visits to the spa.
    Witnessing these snow monkeys enjoying a soak in the natural hot springs was a unique travel experience that I definitely wanted to share with you all. Japan is unique in experience and this experience you would not find anywhere else in the world.

    We saw snow all the time. We're originally from Boston. It was SOOO awesome that you spent time with those Snow Monkey's. Great detail on how to get there using the bus. The video is excellent and detailed. OMG Helmi is sooo cute. Being so close to those snow monkeys. LOVED seeing the baby snow monkey biting on that piece of ice. The views were incredible and it looked like you both really had a great time. Would you stop by and watch our latest video, as we'd love to hear your thoughts as well.

    Hey Nick and Helmi!! It looks so amazing watching the snow fall in a place that we have never been! Nagano Japan looks absolutely breathtaking. Love the spikes you had at the bottom of your shoes to help you walk in the snow. That is so cool that you can get the past to see the monkeys from the local train station! It looked almost like a magical wonderland… With the snow, and the monkeys all around. We probably would've been worried about our cell phones being taken… But we probably wouldn't have cared because the monkeys were just so damn cute! What a wonderful experience and you have captured some very beautiful moments in time. Thanks for sharing and taking us with you!

    • @abdullahlanggeng2128
      @abdullahlanggeng2128 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is one of the reasons why human must not get too close to wild animals, endangered or not. Other people will think that it's okay since somebody else gets too close. "If they can, why can't I?". Definitely don't get too close to the animals if you are in any wildlife parks.
      The animals, although provisioned, are still wild. They could attack you any moments if your presence is considered as a threat. Apart from that, the possibility of disease transmission may also occurs.

    Your coverage of the station entrances and footpaths in the park was just what I needed! I'm going to Nagano (staying at a Yudanaka ryokan) in mid-September this year, but don't know how much time should be budgeted for the Jigokudani Monkey Park. Do you remember how long you stayed there for?

    • @nickandhelmi

      ragabara hey im so glad you found that useful - made this because i had a hard time finding how to get there too. We arrive the night before and enjoy a nice onsen at the ryokan we stayed at and the next morning woke up early to head to the snow monkey park - its about a 30 minute hike - but id say an hour or so is more than enough, if you go say early morning by noon you should be done :).

    hi how about the language communication there do they speak english?

    • @nickandhelmi
      @nickandhelmi  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, they do speak english and all directions/train stations/bus/tourist areas have the English translation so we had no problem at all 🙂 Japanese people are so nice so even some can't speak good English, they will help you the best they can 👍🏻

    This was one confusing video. Couldn’t really understand how long it will really take it to get to park from nagano

    • @nickandhelmi
      @nickandhelmi  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I dont think its confusing at all. This video was pretty linear - it was also mentioned in the voiceover how long the train ride is - 50minute , when you get to yudanaka - its like 15 min by bus to the park, plus 30 minutes hike to the top. This video shows you how to get there not so much the time as it depends on what you do.

    well to be honest, i never see real snow. For fake snow, I experienced it in Snow City.
    it's back in Indonesia few years ago and in Singapore.
