One of the best mobile games / 4v4 games in quite some time honestly for a free to play game it looks and feels just as fine as you would expect on switch and mobile I tried both and I’m surprised it runs very smoothly on switch I love all the new characters I think they’re all balanced well I’ll be if I think the sentinel is very op regardless of that I love the maps the load times are fast to find a match and the games are quick and fun overall I would love to see more maps characters and game modes in the future this game has potential to grow into something as big as overwatch
This game slapping all these Triple A titles in the face and showing how it's done. I can't believe how crisp this game feels with unique and fun character design. Is it the deepest richest gameplay known to gaming? No but it knows that and decided to take what it offers and polish it to perfection. Ludicrous that a mobile game feels and plays better than some of these jokers trying to get 70-120 bucks from you. If you have a Switch this is a must play.
My main issue is they ported over everything I hate about mobile games. The menus are cluttered, filled with disparate achievements, progress bars, and multiple currencies, making it feel chaotic, and they are not afraid of pop-up ads. Also, Aran Tal is locked behind a paywall, and credits are the only in-game currency that you can earn somewhat consistently but there is literally almost nothing to spend it on.
The game actually does a good job with money and unlocking characters. Yes you have to pay money to get season pass character but once the season ends you can unlock them on the Hunter path for free. You only have to pay if you wanna play the Hunter early. And most of the other stuff to pay for is just cosmetics. So it’s not a p2w game
Trust me even mobile players ain't playing lol bcos control is very bad no hud customisation no gyro etc which r very important for mobile

I find it hilarious they even hand out credits, there are two things available to buy with it in the shop. One skin and one weapon cosmetic but worry not! It says itll change in almost a week!
Agreed, as I was a bit disappointed on the Switch as well in both graphically and latency.
Being said, I've been playing purely on Mobile, even though I do have a Switch with dock and controller capability.
One of the things that bothers me about this game are some of the missions... like getting 5 Triple Kills. The percentage chance to pull this off in a match, even with a hero like Vex who easily can with her rockets... man it's tough. You could play 10 matches and maybe get 1 of these situations.
If it was a persistent achievement, I wouldn't mind at all. But instead, it has a 5 day count down. Not a fan of this as a completionist by nature.

@@browningchance a little light internet trolling never hurt anyone 😉 I would just say most of the challenges are baby-level difficulty so it makes sense to have a few difficult ones that the sweats can grind. I myself only have 3 of said triple kills after a few hours of playing, so it seems I need to get good myself!
Sniper characters(blanking on name rn) super can get those triples easy. It goes through enemies and 2 hits tanks to the head. Pop it when they're crowding a control point or bunched up.
I got 16 kills In a match with sentinel
Hope they add more maps to play on in the future thats my only complaint, sometimes it feels like i get the same map back to back or one more often than others.
The other thing is i’ve also been having some server issue/lag but not too badly.
Game has been super addicting so far! I dont mind the F2P UI menus. Zynga needs to get their money somehow and i dont mind closing out of an ad every several hours. You also dont need to claim stuff every match. Just claim stuff at the end of your session. The Mando will become available at the end of the season, but with the time i spent in the game already, i will purchase the battle pass today since Zynga deserves it.
Also, can you imagine seeing a Gungan or Twi'lek??? I cant wait to see which unique characters we will see next!

Only things id like changed are adding a premium pass obtainable by acuired in game currency. 2nd Id like the games to be longer...3rd is tied into #2 my idea for a longer mode/possible event that happens randomly...& thats a big game brawl, same gamemodes we have but the teams consist of 1 of each hunter (meaning each team has every available hunter deployed. 3rd late thought, they need a penalty towards people who quit expecially durring ranked matches.
As someone who plays on mobile, this was a well needed addition a lot of the mainstream mobile games were getting boring
I really hope for the port over to the other consoles. With the smoothness it could have over on them combined with it being free to play and have it crossplay.. man this could be a big game. I hope Star Wars is tracking how popular it’s already getting and realizes that the fans really want fun Star Wars multiplayer games.
Can’t wait to try it on switch. Optimization will most likely be a focus moving forward if it continues to be successful. Splatoon has very little online issues and runs at 60fps. Hopefully Hunters will achieve the same. If not , 30fps is not a deal breaker. Great review.
I’ve really been enjoying it but was surprised that I prefer it on my phone. I’m running an older model with battery issues that overheats easily and got the switch version just because I assumed I wouldn’t be able to play on my phone, and I wanted a controller too, but it’s been doing great on my phone and I’m finding the switch version to actually be worse - the keybinds aren’t intuitive for me coming from console and the menus are a little cluttered on the main screen (I’m actually sure why they don’t have the same locations as the buttons on mobile). Either way the gameplay is more solid than I was expecting, and maybe as I use switch more it will grow on me.
Hopefully if the switch version does well they will update more and more to feel more like a console game instead of a mobile game.
I first played this game on my Nintendo switch around 2 days ago i was super surprised and impressed at the quality. Its a good concept not pay to win and is super fun. However I do think this game can and will get repetitive after some time dew to the low level of game modes available i do believe this will be fixed as this game was just released and therefor isn’t perfect. I Also feel the hunters could use some balancing, they are pretty balanced as of now but a few stand out as way more powerful than the rest ones that come to mind are mainly sentinel that dude is so overpowered. Overall besides these minor inconveniences I believe its a great game and i can’t wait to see the direction it goes in.
I play on Switch and IPad Pro and it looks 10x better on iPad even though the iPad screen it 4x the size or more. I enjoy the ranged character on switch better being able to aim down sight with LT, touch screen feels clunky for the ranged characters. I wish there was custom control layout option for mobile and iPad.
The iPad Pro is also about ten times more powerful
If I had to guess why you or anyone else would be getting lag on the switch, I believe it only supports wifi5 at the highest. Whereas new phones support up to wifi7 I believe. You may get an increase in network stability if you use a lan adapter. Only useful for playing in docked mode.
Idk about the mobile version but I just got it on switch and man it’s so fun!!!!
I’m sure they will eventually start trying to balance some of the characters in terms of buffing and nerfing.

I really hate to break this to you, but the Switch is running a processor that was in Android tablets in 2015. No, the Switch is not more powerful than most high end phones. It’s been outdone by iPhones since at least 2018. Generally you should expect any game on both Switch and iOS to look better on iOS.

It’s a free game. How do you expect them to make money without micro transactions. Also it’s all cosmetics. That’s literally the only micro transaction in the game. Only cosmetics.

Mobile devices are actually more powerful then a switch. Game looks great on my iPad Pro running at 60FpS
Sentinel is s tier and with a healer teamate almost unbeatable

Switch isnt a handheld , its a hybrid console and its lifecycle is far from over
The Switch 2 is launching next year, so it's life cycle is very much on the horizon.

Performance is too much to get past on the Switch for me. Game could be fun but lag and control input lag is bad.
Ive been getting ads on this game once every 30 minutes or so when im on TH-cam and it was starting to annoy me so i decided to go to this video and see if it was even good or not worth my time.

I dont think I'd be able to stay on this game if the characters arent just flat out purchasable with in game currency instead of being forced to play each character and grinding just to get punished cause I decided to try the game due to a character who happened to be at the end of the nonsensical list.

Lmao what? Why is that the basis used to determine the quality of the game? Android and iOS are hosts to hardware leaps and bounds more powerful than the Switch. It's lower quality because developers don't care to put out titles that push the limits of the hardware. Dragon Quest Builders was a console game on the PS4, ported to Android and iOS and it is demanding asf even for current hardware. Apple brought over the full console versions of two newer RE titles to the iPhone 15 Pro & Pro Max and it also brings those to their knees. The mobile platform isn't what determines the quality of the game, it's the effort game devs are willing to put forth to ensure that they are utilizing the hardware to the fullest.

Game is p2w unfortunately. You have to buy the battlepass and progress to get fame which provides massive bonuses to characters. Essentially the battle pass provides xp boosts for characters.
There's almost 0 difference between a level 0 or level 25 hunter mate. It's far from P2W 💀
@@SammyBoiiiSW being able to pay for any advantage is the absolute definition of P2W. And there is definitely a big difference between max and low levels Give me a few and I'll do some math for you if you need it

This game is really bad on mobile. The aiming is totally broken. The mandalorian really sucks, his aim is the worst. They need to fix the aim in this game. It always goes up everytime you shoot. So Gay!!!

I delete this shit game between unbalanced characters lag or delayed inputs i can stand in front of character shoot still miss don't get me started clusters fuck of menus and poor designs maps if you aren't playing right character you 100% will lose and what's point give us gold or coins there nothing buy or use it for? and finally leveling of characters gain improved stats is dumb so you can do mirror match an lose because there character is higher levels
