Star Wars Hunters Switch Review

We’ve talked before about how much of a cultural phenomenon Star Wars is and the video games the colossal franchise has spawned recently in our best Star Wars games on Switch, and now there’s a new padawan hoping to vie for your precious attention. Entering the free-to-play arena shooter space, is Star Wars Hunters, a 4v4 squad shooter in a similar vein to Overwatch, The Finals, and even Rainbow 6 Siege. With these comparisons, can it do enough to escape being in the Clone Wars? What’s It Like? Fighting someone with a hero you don't own hurts early game feels bad, aka progression. The game play is amazing tho.

The only time it hit me was seeing Jedi and Sith running around while I was fighting people with some sticks hahaha. I do get it though, in hindsight, they should have had a Jedi character as an early unlock

They will by using the limited events mode I think.

I don't know, I think the charm of characters is to be new ones

I'm sure they will do future events as they can skin existing characters as legends

I think it's set during the mandalorian time, so I'm not sure if they will add 🤔

This is also a good point. The new characters are charming and cool, so I guess adding classic characters might take away from the new ones. Perhaps some homage costumes instead?

Yeah, it's great fun! I like that you can play a few rounds in a short amount of time. Nice quick bursts of fun!

I just used my nintendo account as a sign in. 1 click and was good to go. You can tie it to an email for cross progression on mobile I think?
