I must say, Mushroom and Swiss cheese go well together on a regular large soft bun with lettuce, tomato, sauteed onions. It's very delicious.
That does sound good.
They use the Whopper name to sell it even though it has no connection. It's like Ford putting the name "Mustang" on a woke electric crossover.

The package opening was hilarious. Look almost like they were making it to delay the opening and being clever letting it out through the side.
It stumped me for a minute there, good job by them.

@tonya.1697 can always improve fast food at home in some way or form, but the whole point of fast food is your not at home and usually busy!
I think it be better off with just a regular Burger King bun. I'm going to try this but ask for a regular bun.

Sourdough bread is typically chewy anyway so that should be expected. My issue would probably be on the lack of grilling or toasting of the bread.
Anytime they come out with a different version of the whopper I can predict it will be a smash.
Btw, A&W just came out with a Masala veggie burger. It’s made with a paneer patty. Should be better than the crappy hash brown patty in the piri piri burger you tried before.

I think "Whopper" is essentially the name of the 1/4 lb beef patty so that's why it's in the name of this sandwich.

I'm glad there is an option for ordering half portions of sauces and condiments at BK because they always drown their burgers in it to the point of overkill. for the longest time i would order the burgers sauce and condiment free and just put my own on it cause it would ruin the burger by the time I got it if it was delivery.
I bet they'd let someone order it with a regular bun, if asked.

Burger King problems are not the new undersized Whopper,well maybe, but their French fries that they cannot seem to master.How about a fry with no gimmicks or some gross seasoning texture enhancer.
You didn't even need to taste it to find out that it's too chewy since it's not toasted enough.

I was devastated that was the best burger they had . Now i only go rarely on wendsdays for a whopper

You should try Popeyes big box for 7.99 - 2 chicken, 2 sides, biscuit and comes with 1158 points on app which can get you more food

For me, when places "toast" (grill/press) their bread on flat surfaces dry it wrecks the taste and texture for me unless they add some kind of fat on the outside like butter/oil/mayo like making a grilled cheese outside. I would rather just have it on a bun.
I've been known to slop some butter or mayo on the outside and throw them in the frying pan on many occasions when we get home - usually with Arby's Reuben and the Turkey Bacon Sandwiches. Then I get the "Why do you even bother getting them?" It's a thing. lol

Yikes! The final smash look was like a garbled mess of someone who threw together some left over white bread and lazy quick threw a patty they made with some leftover cheese. They took a few bites and went to bed.

Why take the ketchup packets to throw them away? Seems wasteful and mean to take free items that will be thrown away.

lol I hate when the bread makes all the stuff squeeze out, agree it should never be chewier than the stuff inside.. like when you bite into an egg sandwich and it just squishes all out the sides. Bk becoming hard to find out my way, they’re all closing up over the last 2-3 years. Miss whopper Wednesday

I didn't like anything about these, the bread sucked but the sauce was garbage too, way too sharp tasting and not cheesy or creamy enough. The McDicks creamy parmesan quarter pounder (or whatever it is) was surprisingly way better.
These fast food places keep losing me at mushroom. Just gimme a plain old whopper with bacon, cheese and extra pickles.
Or at least don't call it a Whopper.

May be irrelevant but I was waiting all week to get a bacon king burger and fries. It was $20 and when I bit in, it was cold and the bacon was chewy and gross. I wanted to bring it back so bad but It wasn’t worth the drive. Burger King has gone downhill IMO

Pretty expensive toasted sanga uh Just and that famous Whopper name shouldn’t be aligned with such filth… Anaemic looking sourdough from the get go had its fate complete - I like that contents combo though.

Fast food is mainly such a massive rip-off waste of money, all the videos you smashed proves how animals are dying for nothing except making fat cats take your hard-earned money for either laboratory food or food made by unhappy people that hate their job, you easily blown several hundred dollars in a couple years span of your food review videos

They should have just gone with a sesame seed bun on this, why does everyone see it and the design team at BK cant figure it out. Also, just because people gobble these things down in about 3.2 seconds doesn't mean aesthetic value doesn't count for something!! BK FAIL.
