Yeah. He's also crying with every crying scene. What an amazing director to really guide and encourage his actors so he could get the emotion he wants from them. I'm pretty sure lots of actors commend working with him unlike most toxic directors.

It's truly is a masterpiece in every way: the script, the direction and the amazing cast esp. the four main characters: the three boys and the girl. It's truly the best BL series to come out of Thailand. A real emotional roller coaster ride. Congrats to all involved in the making of this brilliant series.

you know my favorite things about this show? it’s just so raw and stripped down. i absolutely LOVE the cinematography and soundtrack. you could already tell just from the trailer that it was going to be different, and it was going to be better than every other thai bls out there. the absence of the typical focus shots coupled with the same chimes and snippets used across all shows is a very welcome change. i also love how they dealt with the bl aspect of the story. not everyone was gay, but more importantly, those that were gay actually were actually presented realistically, instead of the usual everyone-suddenly-becomes-gay storyline. and more about the characters, i am SO glad to see a thai bl with characters that actually have dimensions to them. we finally got rid of the typical best friend, the one girl in the group that ships guys, the 3rd party that is always reduced to a plot device. i also love how there isn’t too much emphasis on the “sweet” moments. in other shows it honestly becomes so repetitive when they always try to focus on the intimacy or the one-liners, especially once the main couple gets together. but what i love the most is that the show is that it doesn’t just aim to gratify the people’s desire for bl, but actually aims to tell a story. i think that the main sickness of mainstream bl is that they!re just too commercialized, up to the point where the plot, the pacing, the characterization of the characters, the general atmosphere, all that becomes sacrificed just for the sake of “appealing” to the most number of people. i’m really glad that this show focuses on the story telling, and because of that everything feels very genuine and realistic.

The way they just look at each other and emotions just spill out... it gives me new respect for actors. PP and Billkin are really amazing actors being able to access those emotions and they really play off each other’s energy so well.

I Told Sunset About You is really a masterpiece. It's not just a BL series, not just a show, it's pure art.
I still cried during the emotional parts even though I know it's just behind-the-scenes. It's so precious how BKPP needs each other to stimulate the right emotions for their crying parts. Khun and Smile also did so well, especially Khun since this is his first emotional scene ever but his eyes says it all.
The ending scene was truly a magical moment, not just for the viewers but for the whole production team also.
P'Boss, I want to thank you because yoy did an amazing job. I like how he explain every emotion the characters are feeling to the actors to guide them on how they should execute the scene.
So proud of I Told Sunset About You production team. Nadao Bangkok, you are worthy of a standing ovation! I'm really hoping that this series can be nominated and win lots of awards because they deserve it.

I love the way they all helped each other get the emotions that they needed. Whether is was Bilkin sitting in PP's eyeline during the Chinese New Year scene or PP kneeling down to help Bilkin feel what he needed. All of the actors were helping each other and trusting each other. The director was there to help them get there as well. Superb job. This just goes to show the level of trust and professionalism that everyone had on set. I can't wait to see part two.

sweet, soft, nice, good looking, and throw away. I love Bas I want him, I feel for him. Its takes him soo long to find the courage just to find out he's cast out. It hurts to see him get hurt this horrible, I'd want to hug him for ever.

Yeah, I don’t really see this show as BL. It’s got too much maturity and depth. It’s a love story in the vein on Grey Rainbow, much more geared to the LGBTQ community. Beautifully done, just absolutely gorgeous all around. Yes, I agree with many - it’s a masterpiece that should be submitted for awards. Really. In my humble opinion, it’s one of the best shows (if not THE best show) to ever come out of Thailand; an absolute treasure. I’m almost terrified of Part 2, as I’m not sure anything can measure up.
This serie deserves much more ppl’s attention.
I feel like these documentaries have been nearly as admirable as ITSAY itself. Very well-written, telling stories of its own. The director's joy when they finally found the sunset they had hoped for, absolutely precious.
But fr I got more goosebumps from the underwater kiss in the docuseries than the actual episode. The amount of effort and emotion that went into scene was amazing

It really moves me into tears when I see the director feels so strongly about the characters and the storyline and he even helps PP and Billkin to rehearse the script dialogue--isn't it the responsibility of vice director or someone else? I noticed that PP often goes to PBoss for an emotional cue/spur when tears are needed. PBOSS is so sincere and committed to his directorship and wins all my respect. I think only a director so devoted to a story like this and embodied in the story characters himself can he tease out the character's emotional subtleties so beautifully and compellingly. Thumbs up again.
Damn, I cried watching the series but I am still crying watching the documentary. That's how good they are.
Didn't drop a single tear during the actual episode. But now, seeing how they helped each other along to get into those emotional states made me tear up without my noticing it.

I love that the director was able to bring out the vision of the screenwriter to life and that the acting was top notch. You can never find fault to this series. Thankful to all the casts, staff and crew in making this God tier series. Looking forward to Season 2, see you next year ITSAY team 💙🐧❤

I was a walking ball of anxiety before Ep. 5 aired, thinking we were gonna have a bad end, and with all the staff+cast and nadao being all vague and mysterious about the end, we were sharpening our pitchforks, all ready to riot. Turns out, the ending broke expectations and went beyond. It was so damn satisfying and beautiful, and lmaoooo it had been shot on the very first cue 💀💀💀 how could you all play with our feelings like that?????!?!? 😭😭😭😭❤ anyways, great job! ITSAY BEST SERIES!!! IT DESERVES AN OSCAR IN EVERY CATEGORY!!

Billkin and PP can express thousands of emotions with just their eyes and eyebrows. What a powerful and effective execution!! ITSAY is simply a masterpiece. It is beyond having a great storyline and cinematography. It's the production, the actors, the right balance of space, and silence. Plus the melody and lyrics of Skyline simply touched our souls. Guys, let me be honest. I Told Sunset About you is not a simple BL, it's a purest MASTERPIECE. There were five episodes lasting more than an hour each, but which had every minute and second used in favor of the story, nothing was vague. They brought a very well written script, a production that worked very hard, impeccable cinematography and very good actors with a lot of chemistry. BK and PP were always there for each other, helping to stimulate each other's emotions, even when the scene wasn't about Teh and Oh-Aew together. They slayed in all aspects, very talented actors who donated everything of themselves to the characters, and perfectly conveyed the message that the series wanted to convey. P'Boss and the entire team behind this magnificent production, thank you very much, you worked very hard. BK, PP you are growing more and more, your acting skills are getting more and more incredible, congratulations. BK and PP are phenomenal and work very well together, I hope to see them together in more productions.

What? Did they change the director? But why? Season 2 always sucks when it comes to Thai BLs. I don't want that to happen in itsay's case. This show is beyond beautiful. It would be hard for a new director to do justice with the show. Damn I was really excited for part 2. But now I'm not feeling so good about it it now that you wrote that they changed the director. Just let the old director continue with it... why bother changing him?
@@TAEquilashots P Boss will still follow and is one of the original writers. P Mean only directs, plus the script was apparently written already. But true the atmosphere of the series may change a bit.
@@ymkprod I hope P' Boss guides him well. I just don't want to grow out of this series. So many other shows have let themselves down by making another season. I'm sure that this series is gonna come back with a bang since they know how to touch lives. Great acting, awesome direction and magical screenplay. I really really want this show to blow up. BKPP deserve as much fame as BrightWin. 2gether wasn't even that realistic(no offense) yet they managed to grab a lot of attention. This show deserves the same. More power and love to the entire team and the new director. I'm nervous for them but I hope they manage to keep up with the level they themselves set for BLs.

Ooh, it's really interesting to see how BK and PP rely on each other for the sad and crying scenes even though they don't have scenes together. This showd they have a deeper understanding of each other and their characters and are able to bring out their intense feeling within themselves. This must be one of the reaaons why this series got to the hearts of many.
5,4,3,2,1 then sunset came... Its a sign that this series is a hit. And IT IS A HIT
I really get more emotional with these documentary for seeing how they executed their characters very well. I really loved how natural their acting is and we, the viewers felt it. I've get attached too much with this and I will forever treasure this masterpiece. Huhu I'm just so proud and I'm crying huhuhu I know you're crying too. We cry together khrap 😭

The director is so dang impressing. The director is so good at directing the actors. Helping the characters to increase their emotional feeling, to know the character' feeling deeper, giving them a compliment and keep encouraging them with positive words and feedbacks. I hope the director Will win some awards for his hard work
actually tarn scene was hurting me most. ive never been in a relationship, so i cant really relate with couples. but when it comes to unrequited love like tarn experiences, i can feel it deepest in my heart and i was tearing so bad watching that scene when tarn and teh hugged.

Can i just say congratulations to all the staff, actors, and the director for giving us the reason to hold on to love and wait for it to come. The series taught me a lot of things including sacrificing your love for the happiness of the person you love. I believe that the goal of all bl series just like "I told sunset about you" is to let everyone realize that love is diverse, anyone can love a person regardless their status in life and their gender identity. Khop khun na.♥️

Ok so the ending scene was literally a miracle. I’m so happy it turned out well. I’m always so excited to watch the documentaries because the love and effort Nadao puts into every single scene of every single project they do is an inspiration. Their actors are also my inspiration. Please never change💜 I’ll always follow whatever you do in the future

That last scene shows how powerful Billkin and PP acting skills are. Like, the director just hope for the weather to cooperate with them and think like "they surely can do this". They literally need to do their best at very crucial moment!! 👏👏👏
