Wow the line “why can’t you be like your brother” was improv?? That was one of the most painful lines in the show for me
The "damn, you will wake ma" got me choked while crying and wondering how they write script for it, turns out its improvisation just wow
The part where Billkin felt like he was pressuring himself too much, thinking about all the mistakes, almost loosing himself and how the director got him back on his feet, gave him a little push and Billkin was back up all set for the Tarn and family scene was also incredible.
Mad respect to the guy who played Hoon, his screentime are few, but everytime he stood in front of the camera, he has this aura that is very impactful to the audiences. Also his acting skills, wow.
He also act in a movie called Appwar, 2018. Recommend

I really impressed with the scene that Hoon told to Teh not to wake up ma 😭 That was the magical moment "UNSCRIPTED"
when I saw this scene. First I was impressed about the script so much cos this sentence is real. To know this is unscript. Nut improvised it. I feel more impress about the quality of the cast of this series. Even the director was also impress by this sentences.
They need to give Bilkin a Oscar, really
Now that the sequel is already out, there was one scene where Billkin (as Teh) said he wanted to win the Oscar, and the way he portrayed it looked very genuine :-)

Billkin just made me cry again with these behind the scenes 😢 He’s such one of a kind actor you’ll ever meet. He really pushed himself so hard for this and I admire him so much. And of course PP in that ‘Are you proud of me’ scene 🥺

I like it when characters adjusting to the scene even if it's not on the script. And it turns out very amazing. It really plays big impact to series and viewers . My salute to ITSAY and to all those people behind it.

How come there is not a single cast that can't act naturally? We usually get one /few in any series. But damn this cast is so perfect from kids to old,everyone is so good.

As an audience , we cry during watching drama scene of this series. As a director , he cries more and more. Love all magic moment from the actors and director. This series should have got so many awards for this year.
This whole set of documentary is really important....we didn't even realised how hard they all had worked for each scene.It surely increased the level of respect we have for them as actors
Very true. The making of the kissing scene (in an episode before this) really blew my mind. So much effort put on a short scene. And here we see how the loving parents really felt that they were parents/mother to Teh and Oh.
The coming-out of Teh to his brother never failed to make me cry eventhough I already watch it many times. If I want a good cry, I'm going back to that scene and cry my eyes out.
Agreed. Teh was so afraid and for him to come out to the one person he is the most jealous of but who he also knows loves him. I really noticed in that moment, that his brother first said...is it Tarn? when Teh said nothing, he said...is it oh Aew? Because true family knows, because when you love someone you see them and Teh's brother knew.
Love that scene too. One of my many favorite scenes in the series. I wish season 2 would be longer. This series is a masterpiece. Not your typical BL series ❤

Not to mention everything works on their favor. Even they did not tend to expect those situations. But those spontaneous situations created magic that made me cry my heart out.💖

@@bongbongferrer9941 *everything works on their favor* watching all the documentary I realised that even the uncontrollable things like Nature helped this series become great in every way possible, from the sunset to the rain, the pretty sky and the ocean, it's as though the nature also wanted to be part of this extraordinary series।
So the scene where Teh was fighting with her mother and Hoon went in to the scene to hug ma and calm Teh down was an improvised scene. What excelent, talented and skillful actors! I Mean Bilkin, Ma, Nut they are really really good actor. The casts are so stunned.
Ma, Hoon, and the girl who played as Teh's friend, I hope they get award for their great acting skill. It was so Amazing. And of course the main actor BKPP is also damn good. And the Director also so stunned. No debate, this is the best series, best directing, best cinematography, best casts and chemistry, best director, and best ost in 2020.

I EVEN CRY WHILE WACTHING THIS DOCUMENTARY. THIS SERIES, THE STORY, THE ACTING, THE EMOTIONS THAT THEY DELIVER TOWARDS THE AUDIENCE IS SUCH A MASTERPIECE!!
This documentary made me realize that I haven't fully appreciated how much emotional knowledge and intelligence directors need to have in order to make series with both high artistic value and strong sense of relatability. Like the way he explains what emotions he wants to draw out of each scene and how to find the best way to get the audience to relate and feel with the characters, while simultaneously keeping a high artistic level. Just wow... *magic*. So much respect for this whole team.

I can't even say which actor I admire the most. There’s no a single actor that I don’t admire. Every episode makes me want to give awards to all these actors. But at least in this episode I feel like Tarn and Teh's family performance was just iconic. And I think we all agree that the world needs more people like Hoon. What a beautiful character. And Billkin, every day I admire you even more❤️how can someone manage to cry so much and make me cry so much? Both PP and Billkin are an emotion machine. Thank you Nadao for this documentary. I don’t want this to end. I’ll probably cry next week with the last episode :(

I loved how the director was very hands on with the actors! But at the same time, he allows them to work things according to their own perspective. He was one real gem tbh.

ขอบคุณseriesเรื่องนี้มากๆ (เพิ่งได้ดูรวดเดียวจนจบ ทั้ง2ภาค เมื่อต้นเดือนกุมภ่พันธ์67) ที่ครบเครื่องทุกรสชาด แบบ ไม่มีคำพูดใดที่จะสื่อสารได้ (ฟินๆๆ impack โดนมากๆ) และได้มีโอกาสคุยกะเพื่อนคนนึง+ทำงานกับโลกภายในตนเอง (ด้วยการสะท้อน สื่อสารของเพื่อนคนนี้ ว่า series สะท้านภาพตัวตนของเรา. เออๆๆ เดิม ทุกช็อตเรื่องราวตัวละคร เจ๋งอ่าา Million thank คับ :)

i don’t even want this documentary series to end.
This is the kindest Bl series I've ever watched till now. the way a guy turns down his place in university to give it to his friend and all he did to teach him chinese to assure his friend's place in university. It was wonderful ! I still can't imagine that happens in real life, and that is why this series is so beautiful. Pure love without explicit sexual escenes. Just glances, gestures, doings to show his friendship love at the beginning which became another kind of love later. I admire Teh's performance the most but, it doesn´t mean that the other characters' performance is bad. Congratulations, once more to all staff !

สุดยอดจริง ๆ ชื่นชอบมาก เป็นเรื่องเดียวที่ติดตามดูย้อนหลังทั้งหมด เพื่อดูการเล่าผ่าน สี แสง เสียง บทพูด อุปกรณ์ในแต่ละฉาก มันสื่อความหมายให้ดู แม้แต่สีเสื้อผ้าที่ใส่ในแต่ละฉาก มันทำให้เชื่ออย่างสนิทใจว่า มันคือเรื่องจริง ๆ บอกตามตรงไม่เคยสนใจดูละครไทย เพราะตัวละครพูดเหมือนท่องจำ เสแสร้งแกล้งขำ แกล้งหัวเราะ แสร้งร้องไห้ มันไม่จริง .... แต่เรื่องนี้ไม่ใช่ ขอบอก เพราะเชื่อไปแล้วว่ามันเป็นชีวิตที่เกิดขึ้นจริง ที่ตีแผ่ชีวิตของกลุ่มคนบางกลุ่มให้สังคมวงกว้างได้รับรู้และเปิดใจมากขึ้น ......ขอบคุณ ทีมงานทุกคน ขอบคุณนักแสดง ขอบคุณ นาดาว...

Broo i’m just watching this series maybe 5 days ago, and what tf is happening with my life right now??? I’m crying like a fool over every scene in this episode, even after I watched it and just think about it and rerun all the scenes in my head i start crying again. Damnnn the power of this series. Definitely the best thai series!! This series need more recognition, put this on netflix pleasee, they’re going to conquer the world!
My favprite scenes from episode 5 are the ff: rooftop scene; Teh's request to reopen the restaurant; Bas' blessing aka confession; and the hallway-after-the-exam-scene. I get back to these scenes and get the same emotions like the first time I watch it.

This is by far one of the best series with documentaries ever made. I have watched them repeatedly in case I missed something. The script is spot on and people can relate to the ups and downs of coming of age, peer interaction, and family dynamics. The actors, all of them, are amazing and did a fine job. Their abilities are believable. Everybody needs a brother like Hoon. The production team provided us with an A-class feature worthy of Awards and recognition. Thank you for sharing your work with us. Your documentaries provide us with your deep complete thoughts.

ยิ่งเห็นเบื้องหลังในแต่ละฉาก แต่ละตอนที่ดูไป ยิ่งทำให้รักซีรี่ย์เรื่องนี้มากขึ้นไปเรื่อยๆ ต้องขอขอบคุณทุกๆคนที่มีส่วนร่วมในการสร้างสรรผลงานชิ้นนี้ขึ้นมา แล้วทำให้คนดูได้อินไปกับทุกตัวละคร ทุกบทบาท ทุกสถานการณ์ แสง สี เสียง เพลงประกอบ ทำให้ทั้งยิ้ม หัวเราะ ร้องไห้ ทุกครั้งที่ได้ดู ขอบคุณมากจริงๆนะครับ เป็นกำลังใจให้ชีวิตได้ดีมากๆเลยครับ 😊
That Teh & P' Hoon's heart to heart talk is such an iconic scene. Though I've lost count now how many times I've watched this series, when it comes to that scene I can't help my tears from falling. I so love Billkin & pp but I instantly fell in love with Hoon♥️! Not just that he is handsome but he has a big heart. I bet that every one would wish to have a big bro like him.
What I love about this series is that it doesn't focus on bl theme but more on friendship and family where everyone is so supportive for Teh & OhAew.
I also like Bas & Tarn character, whose willing to sacrifice knowing that their love is not enough to make Teh and OhAew happy.
Truly, love wins ♥️🌈...

I never knew that scene with the mother has a lot of adlibs and such. As one of the greatest, scene I thought it was rehearsed many times because it is so perfect and to know that almost all of the whole scene was adlibs, improvisation and impromptu, I was mindblown. The way the mother showed her disappointment, the way Nut entered and calmed the whole scene a little bit, it was really magical. This just shows how great actors they are. From the leads to the supporting roles, everyone of them is great asf.
The fact the the best scenes were mostly improvised proved how great these actors are. This is the first series where even side characters are well written and well involved in the main story. This is by far the best series in general - not just BL. ❤️❤️👏👏👏👏👏. I hope this will be available on Netflix or other streaming services. Tho I paid to get the original copy on Vimeo, I know most people outside Thailand watched it illegally. Let’s support this show properly guys! Rent the episodes on Vimeo!
It is January 2023, and now I see both I Told Sunset About You and I Promised You the Moon for the first time on Netflix. Had already rewatched it and now watching this documentary, I can only say WOW 🙂
