The body language and subtle details in the scenes are amazing, every episode is like watching an indie movie. I really wish they get recognised for the hard work.
I feel like categorizing this as “BL” is almost an insult to it haha I dunno but bl makes it seem into an already made box which this series do not fit at all! It exceeded that category!! Every single thing about this is pure perfection! This series is right up there with Hollywood made ones! I just know a few years from now, USA will remake this!! I can’t put into words how amazing this series is and it is truly a masterpiece and better than anything Thai bl and bl in general has put out!

This is definitely the series about feelings, about sacrifices and promises. I am not sure that remake in US could be successful. Maybe Japanese version could be promising because they can add something unique as well.
I think that Koh Phuket is one of the main characters of this series as well. The same is with Chinese kanji. The mixture of feelings, dreams, kanji (the synonyms of complexity, hard efforts, tradition, East and something cryptic) and the beauty of Phuket (the symbols of natural beauty), as well as lots of hard work and efforts of all the production team and cast created the magic that is ITSAY.
Thank you lots of times. I will vote as many times as I can to support this piece of art. The team deserves it.
This and Gaya Sa Pelikula are God Tier BLs. Nothing can touch this in terms of Cinematography and Story, especially the Cinematography, just beautiful. and nothing can compete GSP in terms of storyline and the way issues related to LGBTQA community like microaggressions and societal pressure is handeled.

you know why "i told sunset about you" is so loved by many? because everyone there literally everyone put their heart into creation and doing amazing hard work. like...everyone! they put so much effort in every scene, they shoot so many times until the scene is perfect. it's not like "ahh fans will eat it anyway, let's shoot quickly" no!!! they are not like this. i really can feel all the love, passion, hard work, feelings that every actor, every member of the crew put into the series. I am so happy I can enjoy such a masterpiece. i am crying i love you all guys. i told sunset about you is the best!!!

The director really deserves an award for not just making this a BL drama. This is a drama series with coming of age themes period. A story of young love through and through. It felt like a creation that came from the right place. Genuine. 100/10

I think this scene is much more impactful than a lipstick one, and it's so organic given that Teh was trying to feel Oh-Aew up both times they got intimate.

I swear to God that whole intimate scene at Oh Aew's house deserves an award. LESS TO NO DIALOGUES. JUST PURE INTIMACY. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS THEY SAY.

That is my favorite scene from both seasons, period. I can’t even describe the things it makes me feel, and the fact that they just improved it just makes it all the more powerful bc that’s just their natural chemistry with each other taking over. I feel like you could actually reach out and physically touch their emotions in that scene

watching pp struggling during their underwater scene is actually amazing because he had the best shots in that scene for me. you can't even tell he had a hard time cause boy he killed that scene. they both did!

This bl is the best of the year without a doubt, best story, best performance, best chemistry, best kiss etc, but this does not change the fact that although it is better 2 gether is the famous hands with more visualization and likes.

Why are putting one down to pull the other up? This is a great great series I love it with all my heart but I love 2gether as well in a whole different way. 2gether is light, comfortable, makes me feel calm, which is very much needed especially now. And everyone loves their chemistry and they are fairly good actors in their own way. But this one makes one think, makes you feel differently even makes you uncomfortable with the harsh reality, which is great as well. And of course these two have impeccable chemistry and acting skills with some great direction and cinematography. Please stop comparing and love whoever without pulling anyone down from next time.

I get the whole red bra scene, like I understand the meaning and everything and it's actually quite heartbreaking(if it means what I think it means...and I assume it does because...idk what ELSE it would mean? 555+) when you understand what Oh is meaning by wearing the bra, but can we just...I was literally sitting there with my jaw dropped and just...in shock because of how stunning PP looked! Also, that scene was so raw and powerful..it just...this series really changed my life! 5 damn EPs is all it took for me to put this up in my top three...I am amazed by the acting, the plot, the emotions...EVERYTHING! Bravo to the staff and cast! This series is so freaking good! I am STOKED for S2!! Just a few more months! We can wait! We can be patient! ACK!
Also, can we just take a second to just...adore the scene where PP was crying on the floor and a member of the staff came up and just...gently moved him into a different position so they didn't mess with his concentration? It made me smile! That actual scene made my cry...so raw and powerful and it really broke my heart! But the behind the scenes was really cute...I assume the reason they do that, moving the actors themselves when doing emotional scenes like this, is because, since he is so in character and a disturbance such as speaking may take him out of his focus, they can't tell him "let's try being in this position for a few takes" or "move this arm" or something like that over the mic because it could break him from character and they would need to redo the scene again...so, to ensure they don't take their actors out of focus, they just send a staff member over to move them into whatever position they deem necessary for whatever scene they are shooting without disturbing them...that, for some reason, made me smile...the staff member just...ever so gently lifted PP and moved him over slightly...am I the only one who found that little part cute? 5555+! Probably!
When I saw that, I was just like...Let him cry my guy!

This absolutely won my heart.Everything about it is so very well made, I can’t stress enough the fact that what I watched in these 5 episodes are not just about boys liking boys, it’s pure love without showing it through a lot of physical interactions, it is told by feelings. I can’t wait for season 2😭👍 u guys did a wonderful job in captivating the hearts of the audiences with your cinematic shooting skills, the acting, the story oml just literally everything 😭😭😭 ps. English isn’t my first language therefore I might have grammatical mistakes and vocabulary errors sorry but love this series♡
That kissing scene under water showed how dedicated they were to this series. All the work they did to get the perfect shots. Just wow. And PP doing it although he was afraid. That comment "Beautiful" is exactly what the scene was. ❤️

The amount of respect for everyone involved is not nearly enough to describe how hard they worked. PP having to overcome his fear to film that beautiful scene shows his dedication to his work and Billkin caring and worrying about him says a lot about him as a person. No drama will outdo this one. This series was literally masterpiece. Every thing was perfect from story line to cast member. It was one of the bl drama so far. Don’t wanna categories this series in only lbgtq but I can say that it’s the best series I have watched so far.it’s so underrated and should promote in Netflix. The cinematic was genius 💜
I've never seen so accurately expressed emotions in a series, they made us understand the series without actual dialogues. I hope ITSAY will get so many nominations and wins

This is the best coming-of-age BL series that I've seen. Everything about it just beautiful to watch. It's like watching poetry, to be honest. They were able to translate on-screen all the emotions that a person feels especially when one is struggling to figure out his or her identity.
God, Boss Kuno was the best director! I miss him so much. he should have shooted IPYTM. I don't understand why they've changed the director. Boss was so into this project, he could talk about every scene for hours for these documentaries.
The amount of detail and the effort put into every scene is worth mentioning. The colour combinations and the vibe it creates to portray the mood of the situation is definitely one of the best aspects of the series. Overall such a beautiful series with amazing characters, actors, direction and videography. Everybody deserves a mention. I really wish it to be recognised world wide. Nobody should miss this masterpiece.
This is a masterpiece in each and every way, from acting to directing writing, the amount of attention they have given even to smallest details. We can see the amount of effort given by each and every staff member and actors to give life to this amazing masterpiece.
The effort they gave to make this God tier series. Billkin was there when they shot "the red lace bra scene", PP having a hard time because he can't see the fishes&corals, the diving&breathing underwater, the 15 scenes a day, the changing of emotions from serious to happy. ITSAY must be nominated to Emmy's. It's WORLD CLASS MASTERPIECE.

The best thing on this series is that it's just 5 episodes but it gives you more emotion and connection than any full-length drama. Which is rare for a BL series. ITSAY staff, cast and crews did a great job. ❤️

As an American I want to thank the people that have done the English subs for this series. The 2 young men have done an outstanding job in the series. They have been so expressive with their emotions and actions. They have brought the 2 characters to life.

The bra scene for me was really Iconic. It was a wise decision to replace the lipstick with a red lace bra. I never thought that such representation could invoke a lot of emotion and pain. It was a strong bold move. 👍🙌
