  • #davinciresolve - Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve is definitely one of the best video editing software in the market right now and it is mind blowing how the company offers such piece of powerful software completely free with just a little limitations requiring its paid version. It actually allows you sync footages to audio and to edit professionally, colour grade like a professional, create effects in the fusion page and also mix your audio files properly all in one software.
Check out my previous video titled : "Importing Footage into DaVinci Resolve" and learn different ways on how to import your footages and audio files into DaVinci Resolve to start editing.

Use soft light blend mode and then add a matte to affect only the highlights and this is a much cleaner technique

Thank you, I will try that out too. That's the beauty of editing. So many ways to do the same thing.

Thanks, I combined both tecniques (first node screen, then in other node add soflight and add matte) and it works so fine

Can also use softlight as the blend mode and you won't have to correct the over exposure of screen mode as much. Nice video!

Yep🤗. That can also work depending on the final look you going for. Thank you for that.

Just today I was editing a video and tried to do this using glow effect, now I know how to do it differently, thank you!

Hey, thanks for this tutorial. What do you think about using a glow node instead of this 3? I feel like it’s easier to control the outcome with that and has a very similar effect.

Thanks for watching. A glow node also can give you similar results too. It also depends on the scene you working on too. Glow might work better for some and vice versa.
