As an Islington North resident, I can safely say, none of the others deserved to win as they were arrogant, didn’t give a shit about us as a constituency and there was never any doubt Corbyn would win. He was the only one who made the effort to campaign. His campaigners came to us two to three times a week. Green, Labour, Tories, Reform and Lib Dem’s simply dumped a leaflet into our block of flats and that’s it. They couldn’t even be bothered to deliver it to our doors separately. Zero respect gives you zero credibility. Corbyn deserved this. It wasn’t the shock everybody claims it was.

He's a little too left for me politically but I've always liked him. I believe he's one of the few major politicians who genuinely care about every person in the country, and that he's passionate about helping people. Well done Jeremy.
Which policy exactly is “too left” for you? When I look at his policy compared to that of pro worker political leaders of 40-70 years ago, he does not look so that far left.

@@VentureHolly I have done a frankly unnecessary amount of research on economic systems in my time, and naturally came to the conclusion that, despite its flaws, capitalism is the best one. Thus I disagree with Corbyn on his love for socialism. I have not been programmed to fear socialism, despite what you might think (at least I think that's what your near-illegible comment was saying).
