- Technically Windows Movie Maker has a 64x speed limit so right around Makna Forest I left it at 64x and saved it, then reimported it. Then I figured out roughly where it would be 128x, clipped the video, and doubled the speed there. I did that for the rest of the video and it ends at 4096 times normal speed but if I actually could have edited it the way I was doing it would have ended around 292000 times normal speed.

For those curious, every Monado increases speed by 5 percent. Or to put it another way, Speed=1.05^X, where X is the number of times Monado has been said.

No, he usually mentions the Monado when using Activate Monado, with the quote "This is the Monado's power!" on activation, and with "Monado... Buster!" I genuinely don't remember the second Monado art you start with, however I'm pretty sure the only one he specifically mentions the Monado in is Buster, and at the end of the battle, he can also say "The power of the Monado...

I was only mentioning the two you start with, also ty i forgot it was enchant you start with, havent played in years.
He said a "single battle" so considering that, you could say you would hear it from only enchant and buster, since you dont get access to purge cyclone shield speed or eater til later on.
but he doesn't say "monado" just by using monado arts, he also says things like "behold the power of the monado" "this is the monado's power" "this is the monado's power", and lets not forget that other characters also mention the monado when shulk is active
The wonderful thing about an exponential curve is just how fast it blows up. Assuming 257 mentions (from log_1.05(292000) = 257.9) and assuming they're uniformly distributed over the 10 hours (2.3 minutes between Monados), it should take 22 minutes to reach 2x speed, another 11 minutes to reach 4x, another 5.5 minutes to reach 8x, etc. Proceeding in this manner, you will reach a vertical asymptote at 46.6 minutes, and the distance between Monados will be less than 0.00048 seconds.

And in this video this effect is made even nore extreme as monado is said way more late and middle game then endgame which is why more then half of this video is chapter 1

You can pause the video and use the comma and period keys to go frame by frame. And yes, the entire second half of the game really is shown in the last few seconds.

I only ever got as far as Sword Valley and possibly the 1st area on the Mechonis on the 3DS version and as far as Melia's city on the Wii version. I saw Sword Valley's title card in those last 10 seconds. There's a whole other titan to explore aaaand it's gone in 5 seconds. But this is just cutscenes and no gameplay. I assume the 2nd half of the game would have lasted a lot more than 10 seconds if this was an average time full playthrough.

i seriously thought it stopped around prison island until i started pausing the video near the end and saw Zanza dual wielding the fucking Monado's.

They say Monado so much at Prison Island that everything after Prison Island was condensed into the last 10 seconds. It's hard to keep up even if you slow the video down to 0.25
It was all part of Zanza's plan

This makes for a novel way to illustrate to your kids the power of compound interest. Crazy that it's already in the final minute of the video by the time Melia is introduced. It was apparent later in the video that the speed was a matter of approximation techniques, but it illustrates the point.

Hesusio Um.... Riki not want to be rude, but have you played the game? Riki has several very serious scenes in the story (especially on the Fallen Arm). Riki is often played for laughs but is shown to be an excellent father (albeit poor husband according to his debts and Oka's words) and incredably supportive of everyone erlse in the party. In a lot of waus he's similar to Reyn, as both are played for comic relief while having very serious moments in the story, just one is homs and the other is Nopon, having each races quirks. Not trying to say your opinion is wrong Riki just doesn't get it.
