This video is SO INCREDIBLY helpful. Thank you for being explicit in each move. Plus, those tracks you played have an excellent vibe. Keep up the great work, Drew!

Is it possible to input a score from Sibelius into Pro Tools to use the sound libraries for each instrument to play back the song?

I'm new to both pro tools and sibelius but this was really useful. Thanks for taking the time to make the video and share your knowledge. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for your video. This video would be helpful to someone new to either software.
I don't usually comment, but thought I would give some feedback since this was actually posted by Avid.
I feel like Avid strongly insinuated that Sibelius and PT would work together more seamlessly ever since they bought Sibelius over 15 years ago. I never was successful getting "rewire" to work. I took a break from Sibelius. Sibelius 6 was fine; but now it won't work with the new OS. I'm trying the free version of Sibelius, but can't say that the newer version is better, just different and the free version is limited.
To me, the Sibelius layout seems outdated and less efficient compared with new notation software like noteflight. I'm trying MuseScore and it seems at least as good as Sibelius...There are way more notation software competitors than there were 15 years ago, so I can't justify $200 for Sibelius ultimate. Also, the tiered pricing just seems like a hassle.
I've never been fond of the score editor in Pro Tools because it's slow and very different from Sibelius. I guess my expectation was that the score editor would at least become similar to the Sibelius layout, but no changes there.
*Just for reference - I teach audio engineering and music composition for a living - so plenty of experience. But I can't say I'll continue using Sibelius for myself or with my students.

I'm sorry, very disappointed with this. I think "StaffPad" is much better in terms of Playback with VSTi. I have been using "SIBELIUS" for a very long time and I feel comfortable. However, recently by seeing something new in the Playback issue provided by "StaffPad", I hope that AVID will also do it for "SIBELIUS". As a long time user I hope this gets heard. Thank you.

Thank you for mentioning StaffPad. I also haven't had a good experience with Sibelius for iPad.
