Hey I’m trying play all the tracks together like you did but mine will play one clip of the loop an then stop why is that

He says it at 1:30, but it’s a focusrite Scarlett interface. There are different models depending on the amount of inputs, but I think he’s using the 2i2

My sound base is empty
It seems impossible to get started when seeing all of your sound equipment. I spent years buying video equipment before making good quality content (which I don't recommend because over time some of the equipment nearly became obsolete). It would be the same for purchasing sound equipment, but is it possible at all to produce good quality music with only a laptop or at least "some" sound equipment? What is the absolute minimum you must have to produce a solid track? I understand that's a very broad and subjective question. Let's say you're producing a standard New Age style meditation track with synth pads, a flute, a Tibetan singing bowl, and sound effects. What's the minimum equipment you must have?
Laptop can totally suffice. Get some virtual instruments and hand code the midi. You can play with your laptops letter keys but an external midi controller will reduce the amount of fine changing velocities of your notes (assuming you have some piano experience).
The extra equipment comes when you want to record analog instruments yourself.
