Thank you so much for this demonstration! Even with the instructions, I couldn’t figure out how this attachment worked. Your demonstrations are all invaluable to those of us who love to use vintage machines! THANK YOU!!!!
I just purchased a Davis 3/4 size machine. I was fortunate that the shuttle was still in the machine, however, it came with no attachments. Do you happen to know if the attachments for the full size machine and the 3/4 size machine are interchangeable?
I think that the depth of the machine is the same. It is the width that is shorter. If you would measure the bed, that would give us an indication of which attachments will work. The biggest challenge will be if your machine is not a vertical feed but an under feed. Some of the attachments will not work on the under feed.
@@jamesrogers991Thank you. The width of the machine bed appears to be around 14 and 3/4 inches. The depth from the top of the wing nut down to the shuttle slide plate is approximately 3 and 1/4 inches. It is a verticle feed machine.
@@rendmendecclesiastes3728 The slide plates are likely the same. I think only the bias tape uses those. Everything else is likely to fit. I cannot imagine that the screw on the base is different on your machine. It is likely just the harp space is smaller meaning that everything else is the same.

I am delighted that I could help. The instructions are difficult for sure.

@@rendmendecclesiastes3728 I would love to see photos of your machine. Are you a member of the Davis VF group on Facebook?
