- Poutines are famous here in Ontario, they first originated from Québec. The History of Poutine, created by Fernand Lachance and Eddy Lainesse in 1957 in Warwick, Arthabaska, Quebec, Canada.
Poutine consists of French fries, cheese curds and gravy. I like to add more to a poutine when I make it.
I don’t eat this often but it is so delicious!!

Decades ago, when I worked as a waitress in a restaurant at Knott's Berry Farm, one of my Canadian coworkers introduced me to French fries & mushroom gravy. I became addicted to it, & still love that today. I didn't know about poutine until about 10 years ago, but have never tried it that way. Does look good too.

I liked Knotts Berry Farm before all the thrill rides were brought in. It had an old western/mining flavor about it that really appealed to the populace of the time. All of the different shops and restaurants made for a great family outing. We always went with our grandparents and I am very grateful for that. My grandparents loved going there and they always took my mom and us 3 kids. It was a real treat for us.
From the stove to the table, I wouldn't expect anything less than the best, with a shake of perfection. It's great to see you in the positive attitude, that we're all accustomed to seeing.

Happy Friday the 13th Lisette....I'm not superstitious😉Happy the package arrived safe and sound. Enjoy the chocolates and just a back story to the stained glass Chickadees... they are hand made individually (not mass produced) by a family in Kiev, Ukraine so with the war going on over there it took quite some time to be shipped to the US. I am absolutely jazzed with the books and am planning to give a set to my cousin who has an 80 acre farm in the Pocono mountains of Pennsylvania. HI LISETTE, Can't beat coming inside to a woodstove fire. There's something about it that just feels better then other heat.
Don't know why but,
we never had luck with stove top fans. They didn't seem to last long.
Maybe it was the brand Don't know. One season and they would stop working. Here they ranged between 60 and 70 plus dollars.
The Poutine meal with homemade French
frys, curds, gravey, and pulled beef was mouth watering. It made us both hungry! Love your recipe videos, always so good.
We see both well and wish you the same.

What a Beautiful Roast of Beef Lisette! I am struggling to figure out just what cut it is? It looks like those bones are rib bones? Yet, I would have thought this dish would have been created by some cut from the chuck. Yours looks AMAZING! They way you pull your beef is very similar to the way we pull our pork butts at the restaurant. Yours is like Upscale French BBQ cooked in a pot rather than a pit. I definitely want to make your recipe just as soon as I can figure out the cut! Looks So Delicious! 😋
Oh! BTW, those black, plastic claw looking things that you received as a gift a while back? They are for pulling apart braised and barbecued roasts that have been cooked fall apart tender. But you have probably figured that out by now.

I love the color of the sky in the opening of the show it was pinkish color. Food looks so delicious. Making me hungry. My grandmother had lots of cast iron ware. I inherited all 40 pieces. We cook with it every day.

I had a poutine on a trip to my daughter’s house in Ontario (London) at a restaurant. It was so good that when I came back to Paris I went to eat one in a restaurant. It was too good (with nostalgia).

Just a small suggestion, take a very sharp knife a cut slits length wise in your garlic clubs then insert them into the meat. You'll be amazed how much more garlic flavor You'll get.
