This is what Jason doesn't understand. traditional Chinese med(TCM) is a preventive style of medicine. It encourages everyone to balance their yin and yang energy to avoid imbalance which leads to disease. It is preventive, as opposed to western medicine which is to cut and stop pain. True story of how my life was saved by TCM. After my university thesis and exams, I was very stressed due to lack of sleep and developed extreme yang energy(heat) in the lungs, the symptoms was shortness of breath due to swelling in my nostril, constricting the nasal passage. I went to several MDs in Melbourne, they all suggested to cut my nose, cut off the inflamed part of the nostril to clear a passage. I didn't want that, so I tried going to TCM doctor. The TCM doctors after feeling my pulse, said I had low yin energy in my kidneys which drained out my yin in my lungs, and this imbalance lead to yang energy dominance in my lungs which manifested in the symptoms of shortness of breath, swelling, hot flashes etc. The doctor gave me yin cooling herbs, they were very bitter. I took them and after a few days my nostril cleared, no more shortness of breath and I was back to normal. Here is an example where tcm was able to cure the symptoms by looking at the root cause at an energy level to heal and prevent. Western medicine only wants to operate and cut

relax lahhhh, a comedian doesn't have to convey the truth, they have to entertain XD
I mean, he was a doctor, a man of science, of course he wouldn’t be too fond of alternative medicine which have limited scientific backing.
but like what jason leong said (or should have said), the truth lies somewhere in between.

Chinese traditional medicine is based on bones and body parts of dead animals as source for various nutrients, minerals and energy. Whereas the same can be found better in herbs, tar and natural substances. Traditional Hindu medicine (Ayurveda) is the best. I love it. I feel so proud to be an Indian and a North Indian. The Chinese people whom I meet online feel awkward about their persona. They sound confused and at times proud too but due to only material gains and stolen knowledge. They really don't know much about actual China as CCP doesn't teach them that.
