Dude I had the same thing happen to me almost a year ago. I had my own Switch modding tutorial and it got taken down even though no guidelines were violated, and when I went to appeal I got the EXACT SAME EMAIL you got. I was so mad because I spent a lot of time on that tutorial and it did really well but that's Nintendo for ya...
In Japan they have this problem when you buy a product, it is not yours, it is still theirs, and they still control how you used your purchase product, but the problem is they have that mentality when your not in Japan and never buy it in Japan. This is why a lot of people move out of japan because their is no freedom in japan. So basicly in Japan if you buy a nintendo switch, and decided to put homebrew and you do nothing illegal with it, it is still illegal in japan, and Nintendo would have the rights to go to your house take that Nintendo switch give you no refund, and just leave it with. In Japan think about this that way if you buy a product it is like forever renting a product that you don't return and don't pay more unless something illegal is done with it. If something illegal is done with it you don't have the right to keep it. Other countries you buy it is not permeate rent, your the one that decided if you want to do something with it. I don't live in Japan ,because if I did I would have move out even thought that I'm scared of air plain, it is better to risk dying in an airplane then to live hell on earth that is Japan, but it is only hell if you live there, they are some good thing in Japan like Nintendo product and games the other console and games for the other console also made in Japan. Other good thing in Japan every is nice, and polite.
I can’t comment on if you should be concerned, but I think it make a lot of sense about what you said regarding Nintendo not making money off wii or Wii U but they do still with the switch. Maybe just hold off with the switch content or make videos on that on a different platform
You can always upload your video on others videos website such as odysee. I do have a channel there too and I never got a strike. In fact those corporation protect you content to getting remove it.

oh wow this is very interesting! that would make sense why Nintendo is so crazy about people modding their systems! I'm glad i dont live there :P

yes i agree with you :) although showcasing modded switches seems to be fine as many large youtubers do it
Hey, just wondering and if you don't know the answer to this question, that's fine. Is it legal to "Legaly Aquire" firmware for the switch.
