    The genies really pull Good down at their tier. The weird thing is I'm sure the genies are actually pretty good units with their spells; the AI is just terrible at handling them.

      Thanks for the comment. Agreed. I think the reason is that the AI does not always use it as supportive spell caster. And as it has high speed it often yolos first among the enemy alone only to get finished off quite quickly. Btw. Nice to see you on this channel as well :)

    Tier 6 good units are in tier of their own. Fast, tanky, hit hard and decent abilities. Wyverns are glass cannons, without the cannon.

    Man, neutral got lucky with positioning on T2. The wolf riders completely eliminated the marksman.

    Those Neutral Tier 5 are scary and bulky AF, my God no chances for Good (and i think that Evil factions cannot do anything too)

    Tier 3 & tier 7 I think good is much stronger than Neutral & Evil. Elves shoot hard and if anyone comes close then golems is more than enough to deal with attackers, while griffins are more than enough to attack the enemy with.
    It seems they are stronger at tier 1 & 6 as well. But not the strongest tier 2 & 4, and the weakest tier 5.
    Weakest links for good:
    Gremlins
    Dwarves
    Archers
    Golems (but not weak when defending)
    Pegasi
    Genie
    Master genie
    Monk
    Dendroid (Mostly cuz it's slow. But good in defence)
    Weakest links for Neutral:
    Pixie
    Goblin
    Hobgoblin
    Wolf rider
    Orc
    Orc chieftain
    Fire elemental
    Earth elemental
    Cyclops
    Wyvern
    Wyvern monarch
    Hydra
    Chaos hydra

    This is so stupid. Heroes is a very strategical game, each unit has its advantages and disadvantages including cost, growth and special abilities. Putting auto-attacking grand elves running half of the map to hit with dagger does not make any sense. And in the last fight the total cost of the units differs a lot.

      Thanks for the comment. Yea, AI vs AI is not the most strategic way to go. At the same time the AI should play it equally bad for both sides :) About the total cost: Imo there are two approaches or limiting factors - weekly growth or cost, in this case it was the growth.

    All of those fight should have been done on obstacle-less battlefield. Neutral tier 4 almost lost because of terrain.

      ​Let me explain: In heroes 3 every tile on the adventure map has 3 coordinates: x, y, ground/underground. Every single tile has their own information of battlefields that will be on proper tile. It also depends on terrain. There is a tool called "battlefield explorer" that allows users to find battlefields they want by having collected data about battlefield layouts. If you want more detailed info about that, just search in youtube "HoMM3 Battlefield Explorer (beta)". Here is a video by Bit Carver who shares the link to download this app. There is only one simple problem about that app and it need sorta launcher for .jar files. But you can freely use this app by yourself and test it out.
      Here only is one small catch that im not familiar with - im not sure whether this is exact same for HoTa.

      I think that a ranged shot would have done half damage from this range. After damaging the hydra using a ranged shot, the AI decided that now the Hydra won't retaliate since it would die, and that is why the Titan decided to walk and melee instead of using its ranged shot

    when you use ancient behemoths you should give heroes at least 10 attack and diff stats so it can be more realistic, because their ability kind of doesn't really work on 0 stats

    I would like to see in semi-realistic scenario to have giants like cyclops against all of those units. They will just throw rocks big like small car into field and half of the attackers will be juiced. Like there is big gap in this. Idk why they have melee penalty when they can easily take sword from champion or straight lift it of the horse like it’s Barbie and make it fly to atmosphere 😂

    Good won on level 4, because a) normally, basiliscs dont get that lucky b) extremelly poor usage of troops = Ez win for Good.

    you need to do rematches when there appears to be extreme RNG. i bet good wins the t4 fight 8 out of 10 times. that was incredibly lucky RNG with the basilisks
