If you get the time, could you possibly make a video for the beginner’s guide that purely covers gear? I see a lot of areas on the map that need AP that’s no where close to mine. I would love, and I’m sure a lot of people would too, a guide that goes through how to enhance your gear and what materials are best for certain enhancements, where to obtain the materials and gear through grinding, etc. as well as what the current best gear is for the highest AP/DP and how to get it (preferably without having to buy it in the marketplace for an ungodly amount of silver lol)? Of the special season rewards for the Pen accessories, as a new player which one should we prioritize getting this season? Necklace, belt, earring, or ring?
Do you still need to buy stuff from the game shop like before on seasonal servers? Pets, weight limit, etc? I do remember these being a big big $$ sink in the past.
Wow. I stopped playing way back 2018 but I still regularly watch and check for new classes. The progression was a lot different back then I think this is more intuitive for beginners.
Me too! I started at launch in NA back in March of 2016 and played until August of 2018 because the game stole all of my time frankly. I made it to 596 GS and then quit by doing PEN roulette. I actually got PEN Bhegs with 50 fs! LoL. Anyway, I sold that and all of the rest of my gear so I wouldn't be tempted to return but hear I am. I loved this game with all my heart and it's been so hard not to come back. After 3+ years I have wanted to return but the hardcore gear progression was preventing me until now. I'm going to give it another try and see how it goes. The fact that anyone can get to 269 AP with Kutum is so crazy to me because that was always reserved for the hardcore players in our day. Not sure how I feel about that yet.
What zone is the best to grind in season server for money? Many people graduate early and places like Aakman or Sycaria aren't anywhere near as populated as they are on regular servers - with that in mind and the fact we're limited to 247k AP, what would be the best and most efficient place to grind purely for silver per hour? Also considering I've already done all the classes that benefit from easy grinding time how bad am I gonna feel it the next morning after starting this season as an Archer?
I have a question regarding the Timepiece. If I use it to create a second character, will it not convert the PEN Tuvala weapons from my original class at the end of the season? For example, I played a Corsair, whom I want to use as my "main," but I want to use the Timepiece for a "free" Shai so that I don't have to level one. I have full PEN Tuvala for the Corsair, but am afraid I'll have to search for new weapons if the conversion to normal gear is based on the current season character's class (which would be a Shai after I use the timepiece).
I rejoined the game after years of not playing. I made a Season character (Mystic btw) and hopped in. I am following the Black Spirit around and I am around 10 levels above the zone where the quests take me. Did I heck up? Should I have made another character on a server that isn't boosted?
Just got back into bdo after like a 2 year break. Thinking about buying this season pass but there's only like 2 weeks left, how many hours would you say it takes to complete it and get all the pen stuff?
Wait I’m a bit confused. The season that just ended I was able to get all my Tuvala armor to PEN. For me to be able to do this new exchange all for boss gear do I need to make my seasons character armor and weapons all PEN again? Or can I just use the armor from last season?
im 80% sure you cannot trade in converted tuvala armour make a new set its really easy i have 3 PEN's already on day 1 without grinding any stones or weekly quests they increased the enchance chance
Hi, can someone tell me how long main quest gives you begginer stones? As I was following main quest until 56, then just grinded to 61. At the moment I have full Tuvala set, but I want extra one for enchanting but I'm running out of begginer stones. With main quest I just reached altinova. Just wonder if I keep doing it, will I get enough begginer stones to make another set of per naru?
How many hours for a new player (give or take) to reach level 56 (and then 60+) on season channels? New players that really need to learn everything from scratch. And for that matter on console too... Thanks
What gear can season players use? I got a pair of gloves but it wont let my character equip. Lok everywhere in the description but dont see anything that contradicts my character using it but I read somewhere seasonal characters are restricted what gear they can use. Sorry, Im a noob.
Was enjoying it till I've spent last two hours tryin to complete awaken quest the last skill chain on final skill called devastation it will not do it like it don't exist I press the keys ..nothing happens I try many things and it will not do skill ..turns out last five years there few posts on Reddit about it happening .. my season is over if I don't resolve this

The problem is that i have steam money but not a credit card. So im wondering if ill be able to purchase things using steam money if i play on client. Please answer me i really want to play bdo. Im on the fence to weather buy it on steam or not. And im highly wondering if ill be able to buy the base game if i downloaded the client. Cause i dont have a credit card but only steam cash.

I want to like these video guides a lot more than I do by the end. The speaking cadence and enunciation make absorbing the information difficult. This is in addition to the use of terminology that is not fully explained or overly explained unnecessarily. Oddly enough. It makes the guides feel insubstantial. I can watch a dozen or so of the guides here and think, "Okay, excellent." Then not retain any of it. Whereas other channel guides which are less thorough or poorly recorded can have a more impacting impression. Even on the same topic of BDO. This IS good information and I can see the admirable effort put into the videos by "Anders". The decision-making of the content creator is off, in my opinion. I wonder why the creator (assuming their name is Anders) would choose to use certain phrases, frame information in a particular manner, and so on. I think a good contrast in communicative video making would be a channel such as Bolshyplays or Josh Strife Hayes- not so much the style or the games of those channels. But the way those channels present information; how it is laid out in the script or delivery and the speaking cadence and careful word choice by those other creators. I mean no disrespect to this channel creator. I enjoy the videos. But I am trying to put my finger on what makes the guides not quite as effective as I think they could be. Again, this is a lot of GOOD information and the creator puts in the effort- much respect, Anders! Perhaps slowing down the speed of vocalizing, connecting imagery more logically with the paragraph subject, and using more general terms for basic concepts while leaving out altogether hyper-specific terms to BDO that do not serve the concept being spoken on directly would be more effective. I hope this is taken as feedback to improve the ability to share knowledge among the game players. I will keep watching and supporting the channel. Great work, brother. Keep it up and may you continue to improve & grow.

full pen tuvala is 250 ap awakening with all the adventure logs done, this season allows you to convert them all to boss gear and go for pen easier than normal, so absolutely worth doing
Add cliff weapon quest most newbie miss this quest this always available for new account . I dont know when it is gone for new account but it is helpful for early game silver they will knew when it is already gone or a veteran guildmate told them about this

No matter what they do, arch will never be good as long as ppl can close his range in 1sec. Are u a "ranged" class if ur never out of anyone's range? Or are u just a bad melee class All they'd have to do for sorc is revert succ back to how it was when it came out n I'd def play it. Sorc is the closest thing to warlock we're going to get. Succ sorc on release was an awesome ranged warlock type. Yes it was op back then but certainly won't be in this new everyone's broken world they're making
I think the Previously PEN (V) Tuvala Gear that was converted to normal TET Gear Equivalent will be able to exhange to TET Untradable Gear soon. For the new PEN Gear Quest, What do you think about it?
We don't know much about the PEN quest atm, a lot of speculation. I think if it is like the PEN acc it's fine. The cost of Caphras levels will still demand investment and those that have C9+ won't really be affected specially since you normally don't run muskan and giath or kzarka over blackstar is becoming more of a preference as well. They are looking for ways to keep people logging in, and this seems like a decent method, but we'll know more soon.
if you choose the "fast" questline, do you get the inventory space or the skillpoints that the regular main story gives you? sounds interesting not having to repeat the tedious and boring campaing, but as a "f2p" player not having the extra inv could be a deal breaker
Yeah you get all the usual stuff you would normally get. Only downside is it does not give you the quest number count towards Rulupee Adventure Log if you are trying for 30k quests.
I'm a veteran, buuuut I've got crap gear. I only barely can do trees w/a group. This seems pretty good to me. Now to choose a class. I....have no idea what I want to play. Ugh.

So Im able to enhance Naru to Pen, trade that for tuvala gear which Im able to enhance to pen and trade that then for pen bossgear? Or am I missing something? I'm very excited to see that post season grow pass for PEN stuff......will it be 100+ days like the accessories ? Will I have to barter for 24h/day ? Nobody knows haha. I'm at TET c3 and that was already a pain for my casual ass.
Title: Season+ "improvement?" Question is though "how easy" is it for us to get those amazing 40-60failstack scrolls? It goes for both gear and accessory guide you just made...hmm hmm so far many gear + accessories failed lot because of failstack bottlenecks(doesnt matter if they increased the standard abit), is not normal for person to just have 40-60fstack. And if they even try attempt lower than that from tet to pen= absurd change for more failures. I recall they aslo gave a great headstart codes for like 2k+ time black stones and 500+tuvala ores and or refineds last season. These too are bit of bottle necks. But we wait and see what next week has to offer. So far it just doesnt seems enough because you just cannot generate up to all sudden 40-60fstack scroll and even if you get like 2-3 ingame and you fail, your back to no more failstack scroll attemps. (with some constructive comment on chris poli on guide of "easy 0 to pen without cronstone" video)

The opening salvo is why I actually can't get into this game. The idea that the point of endgame is mindless grinding is so off-putting. It's like, "here a new way to get to the time sink faster".
@@AndersGallar I did 1 hr today with people in guild, less trash and 11 caphras compare to (35+ caphras before change), so I am actually making less money then before. Then I went to do Cardy for an hour for guild elephant, now people can make 180 to 250+ mil there about the same silver/hr like the old basi. Also I did 2 hr at sherehkan for the infinite HP pot, lv.10 node, BLS, kama drop buff, and the pity systems is non existent.

Archer is great for Aakman. Not so great for Sycraia and Elvia spots. 250k should be the limit if you have done all the logs.

what happens if you delete your character ? can you create another one season and still get all benefits?
Yes. just make sure to move the items to storage first.

They just turn to "non season" you'll still be able to play on them on regular servers if im not mistaken

I believe you can buy pearl boxes with steam credit. And yes, it's probably the best time to play BDO as a new player.

All they'd have to do for sorc is revert succ back to how it was when it came out n I'd def play it. Sorc is the closest thing to warlock we're going to get. Succ sorc on release was an awesome ranged warlock type. Yes it was op back then but certainly won't be in this new everyone's broken world they're making

I think the Previously PEN (V) Tuvala Gear that was converted to normal TET Gear Equivalent will be able to exhange to TET Untradable Gear soon. For the new PEN Gear Quest, What do you think about it?
We don't know much about the PEN quest atm, a lot of speculation. I think if it is like the PEN acc it's fine. The cost of Caphras levels will still demand investment and those that have C9+ won't really be affected specially since you normally don't run muskan and giath or kzarka over blackstar is becoming more of a preference as well. They are looking for ways to keep people logging in, and this seems like a decent method, but we'll know more soon.

they complain 24/7 so im guessing its terrible. not even 60fps, dont mention the sheer amount of blue screens and error codes that PA refuses to fix

if you choose the "fast" questline, do you get the inventory space or the skillpoints that the regular main story gives you? sounds interesting not having to repeat the tedious and boring campaing, but as a "f2p" player not having the extra inv could be a deal breaker
Yeah you get all the usual stuff you would normally get. Only downside is it does not give you the quest number count towards Rulupee Adventure Log if you are trying for 30k quests.

Season+ has some more perks like the early graduation 2 weeks in, growth pass after graduation for extra items, and pen season armor and weapon path
So Im able to enhance Naru to Pen, trade that for tuvala gear which Im able to enhance to pen and trade that then for pen bossgear? Or am I missing something?

It goes for both gear and accessory guide you just made...hmm hmm so far many gear + accessories failed lot because of failstack bottlenecks(doesnt matter if they increased the standard abit), is not normal for person to just have 40-60fstack. And if they even try attempt lower than that from tet to pen= absurd change for more failures.
I recall they aslo gave a great headstart codes for like 2k+ time black stones and 500+tuvala ores and or refineds last season. These too are bit of bottle necks. But we wait and see what next week has to offer. So far it just doesnt seems enough because you just cannot generate up to all sudden 40-60fstack scroll and even if you get like 2-3 ingame and you fail, your back to no more failstack scroll attemps. (with some constructive comment on chris poli on guide of "easy 0 to pen without cronstone" video)

The opening salvo is why I actually can't get into this game. The idea that the point of endgame is mindless grinding is so off-putting. It's like, "here a new way to get to the time sink faster".

@@AndersGallar I did 1 hr today with people in guild, less trash and 11 caphras compare to (35+ caphras before change), so I am actually making less money then before.
Then I went to do Cardy for an hour for guild elephant, now people can make 180 to 250+ mil there about the same silver/hr like the old basi.
Also I did 2 hr at sherehkan for the infinite HP pot, lv.10 node, BLS, kama drop buff, and the pity systems is non existent.
I'm full pen tuvala already (Excluding accessories) this season is a joke.
