btw, AFTER you get PEN (V) Naru, you no longer go to Fughar to exchange it for Tuvala gear. Instead you now have to open up EQuipment/Inventory (press "i") then there is a button you press next to the equipment window that will give you the option to transform the gear into Tuvala. (Hover over the PEN (V) Naru gear to read the instruction on how to upgrade to Tuvala)
HOWEVER to everyone reading this, be careful because you need your main weapon to be NARU PEN(V) to advance the season pass, unlike the armor one that says "naru armor pen(V) or higher" so if you turned your main weapon to Tuvala you cant clear it. The exact mission is "Equipping Naru Adventure Gear 6". I had to make another naru weapon and get it to PEN(V) cuz it was blocking my progress. It worked out for me cuz I used it as the backup weapon but be sure to keep it in mind.

This is literally my first TH-cam comment. Im still very new to gear progression in BDO and completely despise rng in games because I just have a feeling luck isn't on my side. THIS VIDEO changed me. It works 100%. I have the bare minimum knowledge required about failstacking and using valks and went from PRI to PEN in one day. The backup gear will make the entire process a piece of cake. Hey Great video! I am a complete newb and this helped a lot! Saved me a massive headache. Question, say you run out of 60s, I have some higher, should I use to try to reach PEN or save it at all cost for later?
I had a bunch of different valks on other chars so I threw in a couple +15 and stuff. I think the main takeaway is: Get weapons/armor to TRI with guaranteed refined stones. Use failstacks from Fugar for TET. Force awakening weapon to PEN, then just grind and to enhancing on extra pieces if possible. Just don't rush it. If the attempts fail, doesn't matter, just use your failsafe TRI pieces and your PEN awa weapon. More than enough for farming the low AP spots. And if you need stones/ore, low ap spots are the best, since you kill so many mobs per hour. Then there's the WEEKLY quest. The season runs for months. You don't need to be full PEN on day 3. It's just unneccessary. If you wanna get everything out of season, you're gonna grind for weeks anyway for the seasonal tokens/drops and by the end of the season you'll have so many tuvala stones/ore left over to sell to npc for money. Just don't forget to actually log in before season ends like I do all the time. Kind of a waste of silver. And getting a second lvl 61/62 character for free if you forget to timepiece and graduate. The longer the season has been live, the easier it is to farm on many spots as well. Less competition. I usually do very little farming until graduation becomes available, after that the player count drops a lot.

As of 2022, is now way easier to get the Refined Magical Black Stone either by just completing the season pass and by grinding. Problem is when going from TET to PEN because of the fail stacks and having to go get some durability repairing. But all in all, once you enhance your gear up to PEN is really worth it.
You can just pen the gear you wanna exchange! So if you already have some gear waiting off-season (like a pair of tet urugons) then yep, you can just skip on the boots etc
This guide all made sense, I have a full TET set and a full TRI set, my only problem is now how do I get more 40 stacks to try to get the TRI set up to TET? Use 84xblackstones to get a 30 stack (~16mill rn)? You could also exchange 500 time filled stones for a 40 stack but that seems very expensive.

That happens after season - when you (early) graduate, you get box with some coupons in it that you can use on your tuvala to convert it. Very straight forward
Can Tuvala gears still be enhanced even after season ends? I just started BDO so I dont think I'm able to PEN any Tuvala piece. I was thinking to just leave it at PRI and wait for next event to continue enhancing them. Is this possible?
How much of this is still applicable in 2024? I noticed for example that Fughar does not sell Tuvala gear at all, I think when I was upgrading my stuff from Naru it had me automatically turn it into Tuvala.
It only matters once the item sort of "breaks". You lose durability when you fight (pvp/pve) so your items goes red faster meaning you need to repair more often. Also, you cant keep enhancing once you have no more max dura, so you will have to repair them. You can use Tuvala Ores to restore max durability.
@@OriginalShiro1 Yeah, use them for Duo -> Tri. But i would just use them if you have them. If you dont, id just do regular clicks (just make sure you have enough Time-Filled to get them back to DUO if you fail)
Had a five percent chance to enhance my tuvala slayer from tet to pen and it worked. I’m at 190ap and I think I can finally quest in the desert where it’s taking me now. Sucks drakania doesn’t have awakening weapon.
I clicked all of my season+ pens on 40fs -50 fs. 30 starting point for tet clicks if i got 2-3 fails i had tet pen stack. I saved all of the free 60 for my main char enchancements .
It's my first time grinding a full season. Sadly didn't finish last season. But anyway do I buy all tuvala accessories? My weapons and armor are tuvala but wasn't sure if I should buy them to replace my naru accessories
Good video, as a first time player I am afraid I won't have time to do this prior to season end,, since it ends shortly. I wonder what happens then and how hard it'll be to get gear in normal servers with pvp, I hope it's not a nightmare. but either way I once next season starts I'll do a new seasonal character and should then have plenty of time to do this since i'll have months and look forward to giving your guide a try. I already done my weekly and out of resources and seems like drop rate is far too low grinding to be able to catch up in this last few weeks, I also play casually and have only hours a week to spare but will see. If i get more gear I'll try your method.
Hey! So the season ends May 10th, so you still have plenty of time, even if you dont play a whole lot! The weekly resets every thursday too, so you can do that a few more times. Make sure you are grinding on Season. I can recommend Polly Forest, Gahaz Bandit or maybe (where i grinded) Sulfur Mine (north valencia). Once you graduate, the gearing is very straight forward now. You can get a free PEN Boss armor by doing "The Magnus" questline, and you can (and should) just buy all your gear with silver you make grinding. PvP Isnt a big issue honestly. It does happen, but it isnt very normal outside of the Arsha server, as people are punished for attacking others randomly

Hopefully you kept 1 piece of backup gear for each slot? In that case, you have to use the normal method, of repairing the tuvala gear. You do this by exchanging tuvala ore at the blacksmith, for a base tuvala. Then you use that to repair max durability of the broken piece
the video is actauly missing the pen section. time stamp says it but its completely different. i gues i just have to create a valuable 60 stack or waste a 60 valk
The pen section is there, i explain how to do it? Nothing special about PEN, just click it on the 60 stacks you get from making a TET Tuvala :) If it fails, you follow the steps to get the item back to TET to then attempt it again on the stack!
@@DXDgamingsubnow The questline should continue into Mediah i believe. If you have already done that, you shouldn't need more. Just use the backup gear you made, repair it with tuvala ores, and use that to go for pen on!
Im not sure exactly what you are asking, but the rates were increased during "Season+" compared to older seasons, making it significantly easier to upgrade now :)
After this season, you can use a coupon on each of the items, and make them all into "boss gear". PEN Tuvala will turn into TET boss items, tet turns into tri, etc etc. So you still keep it all, even if you dont get full pen (accessories dont turn into boss versions, but you keep them post-season). So the value of the items are REALLY high, compared to how easy they are to enhance. You will have plenty of time tho, season dosnt end untill most likely december =)
Yes, it is! If you follow the guide for enhancing, and then grind on Season servers (making sure you do your weekly quest for the bonus enhance mats), you can do it! If it gets down to like the last day, i would recommend using Cron Stones for going for PEN.
yhea so basically because I'm late for the season+ I'm doing quests on my main getting the resources cuz theyr family bound meaning next season char can youse it as well and in the mean time I focus on obtaining the quest jewelry so as full try tuvala + pen awakening if thats a thing on +'s and grind resorces and once the net season is out aim for full V tuvala after that will see

If not, the answer is: You use the tuvala ore, to exhange for base tuvala items - then you can use the base tuvala items to repair 10 durability on your item you are upgrading (and failing) - its how its ment to be done, the use of beginner blackstones to keep making PRI Tuvala is a workaround/trick! You got this! =)

Just follow the Main Story Questline (the one you get from the black spirit). It will take you all the way through the different zones. When you complete the Mediah section (Balenos -> Serendia -> Calpheon -> Mediah), you will have all the Beginner blackstones you need, and you can convert your PEN Naru into PRI Tuvala at Fughar =)
Good guide but, for the love of god, PLEASE stop jerking your mouse over items! If you're hovering over something then keep it on it so that people at least have time to pause the video and see what you're showing, otherwise don't hover over items and create popups for a few milliseconds at all because in places it's just hard to watch you mousing over things non-stop.
I have spent all of my quest enhancement stones trying to upgrade naru armor to pen. I got one armor to pen that's it. You said there was a weekly quest te get more black stones
By the time you have completed the main story, up to and including Mediah Region, you should have several thousands of weapon and armor stones. You most like just have to keep questing abit more!
@@BiceptimusPrime level 57 and no more beginner black stones as far as I van tell. Done the succession quest. I don't mind much but all them stones and not one wepon upgrade to show for it.

If you are looking to get it for the Season Pass missions, you can get a PEN ring by getting level 60. That will work to complete the objective. Otherwise, you enhance accessories by using other accessories. So you need 2 base rings, if they upgrade, you use the PRI ring, and a base ring to attempt DUO.
i failed 12 times in a row from Tet tuvala to pen tuvala with 12 clicks in a row with each time 60 and 70 stacks + cron stones... wasted 1500 cron stones lol how can one be so unlucky -.-
thats a really bad guide, you dont really explain much about enhancing itself. you just started clicking around without even explaining what "stacks" are.
Just keep swinging. I obviously didn't show all the clicks i did, in the video, but you can check out the entire VOD if you want! Link in the description. Back luck sprees happen, thats why with my method, you atleast dont risk your progression when that happens!

Wow I learned so much from this guide including season weakly quests! I was grinding for 30 minutes and only got 100 stones

You get an item on the season pass, to guarantee upgrade 1 tuvala piece to pen

Just delete them, they wont be moved over once you finish season
You could try building failstacks on them, but if they go PEN you just delete them pretty much.

No, once season ends you cant upgrade your tuvala anymore

You will be able to make full PEN Naru by the time you complete the Mediah Story line - which should be around level 55-56 ish

They drop on Season Servers, but at a low chance. You can also choose them (although i wouldnt suggest this) from the weekly quest.

TET Naru or TET Tuvala? You get a bunch of the beginner blackstones by doing the main questline, up to and including Mediah

@@DXDgamingsubnow The questline should continue into Mediah i believe. If you have already done that, you shouldn't need more. Just use the backup gear you made, repair it with tuvala ores, and use that to go for pen on!

Im not sure exactly what you are asking, but the rates were increased during "Season+" compared to older seasons, making it significantly easier to upgrade now :)

My main and my sub weapon for my female drakania is already on pen but im planing on going TET on my armor and other gears
What happen if we dont upgrade the tuvala gear to max or pen? What happen to the character after season is finished? Can we get another gear?
After this season, you can use a coupon on each of the items, and make them all into "boss gear". PEN Tuvala will turn into TET boss items, tet turns into tri, etc etc. So you still keep it all, even if you dont get full pen (accessories dont turn into boss versions, but you keep them post-season). So the value of the items are REALLY high, compared to how easy they are to enhance. You will have plenty of time tho, season dosnt end untill most likely december =)

Yes, it is!
If you follow the guide for enhancing, and then grind on Season servers (making sure you do your weekly quest for the bonus enhance mats), you can do it! If it gets down to like the last day, i would recommend using Cron Stones for going for PEN.

yhea so basically because I'm late for the season+ I'm doing quests on my main getting the resources cuz theyr family bound meaning next season char can youse it as well and in the mean time I focus on obtaining the quest jewelry so as full try tuvala + pen awakening if thats a thing on +'s and grind resorces and once the net season is out aim for full V tuvala after that will see
Why are you late for Season+ ? Its still going on - you can just make a Season char now!

If not, the answer is: You use the tuvala ore, to exhange for base tuvala items - then you can use the base tuvala items to repair 10 durability on your item you are upgrading (and failing) - its how its ment to be done, the use of beginner blackstones to keep making PRI Tuvala is a workaround/trick!

Just follow the Main Story Questline (the one you get from the black spirit). It will take you all the way through the different zones. When you complete the Mediah section (Balenos -> Serendia -> Calpheon -> Mediah), you will have all the Beginner blackstones you need, and you can convert your PEN Naru into PRI Tuvala at Fughar =)

Yep. Its a relative new addition/update to the enhancing system. Makes it WAY more approachable for new and old players. Its awesome!

Good guide but, for the love of god, PLEASE stop jerking your mouse over items! If you're hovering over something then keep it on it so that people at least have time to pause the video and see what you're showing, otherwise don't hover over items and create popups for a few milliseconds at all because in places it's just hard to watch you mousing over things non-stop.
I have spent all of my quest enhancement stones trying to upgrade naru armor to pen. I got one armor to pen that's it. You said there was a weekly quest te get more black stones
By the time you have completed the main story, up to and including Mediah Region, you should have several thousands of weapon and armor stones. You most like just have to keep questing abit more!
@@BiceptimusPrime level 57 and no more beginner black stones as far as I van tell. Done the succession quest. I don't mind much but all them stones and not one wepon upgrade to show for it.

why will this not allow me to enhance duo rings
If you are looking to get it for the Season Pass missions, you can get a PEN ring by getting level 60. That will work to complete the objective. Otherwise, you enhance accessories by using other accessories. So you need 2 base rings, if they upgrade, you use the PRI ring, and a base ring to attempt DUO.

i failed 12 times in a row from Tet tuvala to pen tuvala with 12 clicks in a row with each time 60 and 70 stacks + cron stones... wasted 1500 cron stones lol how can one be so unlucky -.-

thats a really bad guide, you dont really explain much about enhancing itself. you just started clicking around without even explaining what "stacks" are.
So he can get Tet on 40% meanwhile my pri failed 10 times.. So dumb lol.
