You dont have an idea how much you help and motivate people with your videos! It is one of the best channel! Thank you very much for providing that for us. Its AWESOME! You are the best. Thanks thanks thanks
Your face Mischa on that last hover auto. I knew that surprise was coming. Brilliant! Haha. As a private pilot in the R44 it’s still SO useful to just see emergency training. Interesting to see the hydraulics stuff, we tend to stay above translational lift and keep a long slide to make it a little easier but have landed it from a hover a couple of times and it’s certainly exciting!!
Thanks guys! Have a super weekend and see you both soon! P.S. be nice to try to see some of the night flying and the decisions/considerations/pre-flight that you need before you set off in the dark!
GET THIS MAN TO 100K SUBS, STAT. Always love these videos, as a layman I learn so much. And yes, it is stressful even as a viewer haha. Now I have to go look up "Astar" or "8star" if I heard that correctly...
Good job on the stress drills in some sketchy weather and high traffic density... and as always with a smile.... (Sam your eyes got big during the hydraulics off - how different is the feeling on the controls?)
sirwholland7 so different. It feels like the cyclic is stuck in a huge tub of butter and the collective feels like a 30 pound dumbbell that someone is trying to pull out of your hand. Pretty intense!
@@heysamadams A particular difficulty in the R44 is that with hydraulics off, there is far more force required on the cyclic in pitch than in roll. That makes is harder to control than other helicopters with hydraulics off, such as the B206. Well done though!
Very cool to see. Looks like a heavy workout without hydraulics. In a real emergency situation where you have lost hydraulics would you want to land with more forward airspeed if you vould get an asphalt runway? Since it is easier to keep steady when you still have translational lift?
Did u see the video of the helicopter crash at the football (soccer) stadium in Leicester City that killed the owner of the football club. Can u do a video about that?
Great video!
That no hydraulics thing looked hard AF!
Misha makes it look so easy!
Well done Sam!

Awesome job learning a tough maneuver.

I felt that tension. Practice Practice Practice hay. The more you practice the luckier you get.
Got my annual PC on Saturday. Great revision vid!
Wish my old self could come up to learn, but at 72 no reason . Just the love of it and would do it anyway if I could.

Anto 5000 thanks so much for watching!
Mischa & sam....👍👍🤗🤗🤗🤗
I'd be curious what you use for a GoPro mount. Looks like the video seeks to stay level. Very smooth.

@@heysamadams Fantastic. Thanks Sam.
Good "T" shirt logo "Horn Panic".
Nice, fellows! I felt that. :D
No help seeing with your yellow lens?
Where u guys at the Vancouver heli port on Wednesday
I can't watch these ones, Like Sam, the minute I hear that horn I am grabbing the mouse :-)
Yikes...I got sea sick on that flight!🤭🚁

I’m getting ready to start helicopter training, do you have any advice?
BugattiGuy don’t be to hard on yourself the first little bit. There is a reason you have to train for so many hours to get your license!
Nice..answare..!¡
@@heysamadams ...correct..!¡
Learn from the best...🚁BC Helicopters!🚁
BugattiGuy I like the other comment. Realize it will be hard in the beginning. Just work hard and it will get easier. Have lots of fun.
Need tail rotor failures !!
🚁💨 😱 👍
Helmets in a R44 smh. Totally fucking up your visibility to try and look cool ..safety tip dont fly piston shit cans
