At the time we didn't have the internet and this was sort of cool even though it probably only got played 3 or 4 times, but my god what a fantastic front cover
I do have a later copy of that album on the Apple label for some strange reason, not one I play a great deal though, bit like Hear The Beatles Tell All on the charly label. There are some interesting interview albums out there as well. Interesting to see the different variations you have there.
I guess I appreciate it. It was interesting. I listened to some of it out of curiosity. It’s mostly for collectors. Thanks for sharing. I remember it being sold in Caldor. Glad you enjoyed the album enough to get 6. I wasn’t exactly heartbroken when the Beatles American album cd collection didn’t include it. But it’s a nice album to have if you’re a collector. I’m also glad they have it on cd. I know, nice is boring, eh? But I know I’ll sleep better than I would if I were nasty. And you were nice enough to share the collection! So have a great day!
I had a stereo Canadian rainbow copy that I bought in 71 or 72 and the inner sleeves were white with red writing of the Capitol logos and a close up of a needle in a record groove with a broken tip and promoting the care of records and the stylis. .
I like the part where Ringo is asked about his relationship with some girl and he says it isn't true. But the line he says is so funny, he says "That's a lousy lummox. I've never met the girl".
My original of the Beatles Story got lost over the years so I was super excited that the Capitol albums release is coming. I am buying the box set plus the six individual albums. I have never replaced my original copies and the outer sleeves are very worn and in need of updating. Enjoyed your video, glad I did not turn it off. Take care!
Good on you if you want six copies why not rock on that's why you said don't click on the video because you knew people would click on the video take care Next time by 12 copies that will really annoy people love the videos thank you
Not familiar with this album, had to google it to learn about it's reputation. And you have SIX copies? Interesting! I have some less than desirable releases of some of my favorites, though I don't think I have six copies of any album in my collection.
When I was a little kid, I actually liked "The Beatles Story". Haven't heard in years, but it's quite a bit like a radio biography. What's wrong with that?
@@thinkbeatles thanks for asking. We're in zone C and we got evacuation orders today. We're going to Amber's parent's house which is 10 minutes away and not in a hurricane evac zone. We're on the second floor of a very sturdy building here, so our apt itself will be fine. But we expect the area to lose power, and our building may be inaccessible due to debris or flooding for a time. Hopefully it veers south and we'll be okay.
Capitol should've been ashamed of themselves for that blatant cash grab/scam of a record.

nice. I will always buy a variation if the price is right.
I turned this thing off and will never know what it's all about.
I have the original stereo and mono plus a Japan box , interesting for me at least seeing your variations in such great quality.
@@MrSailorsam I have the Japanese one too, but I forgot to show it
I regret clicking. That was a nightmare to sit through I can’t believe this is still online… (great video lol)
I for one liked seeing the different versions of the lp
People love train wrecks..can't look away.

I clicked on this video just for the title out of curiosity, and as a non hardcore beatles fan, I don't get it.
The album is an exploitative cash grab and just not well regarded by any serious fan, is what I gather.
I clicked because I could! 😆
I didn't . Thumbs down. Blocked.
Should’ve read the channel name

I surprised it didn't get deleted by the late '70s.
