Cause you like me too much and l like you 🌙
Me too! I love Revolution nine on the White album!!!!
👍👍👍👍
I have the first pressing in mono, on the back cover it tells you to see the titles on the lable for the running order.
I think the best analogy for what you were trying to describe is a cd shuffle; or a jukebox where each of these songs were a single. For people who grew up cotemporaniously with these records, this is the way we first heard the "new songs" of The Beatles. So to complain many years later when we all became more familiar with the albums they actually released in England is a little disingenuous. Horses for courses. As Ringo says: Peace and Love, Terry and Julia Tutor
hellooo nice beatles channel :))))
Green Target label is from 1969-1971, and The Beatles’ albums (except for the Apple releases) were only available on that particular design for one year (1970-1971) before switching to the Apple label.
The plastic purple inner sleeve is at least from 1981, as per the printed copyright at the bottom of the sleeve.
Every Beatles fan should read Bergenstadt’s more recent publication about Jimmy Nichol . This book is very well researched ( not surprised given Jim is an attorney) and beautifully written. It certainly answers some of the more in depth questions may have regarding the spring of ‘64 tour when Ringo was ill and missed a few gigs.
‘Looking For Changes’ is one of the best sounding live Macca discs out there. I love it. Nice choice!
The first UK mono you showed,I meant.
@@ronmartin4212 All Good 👍
The black and silver two-box is early '70's thru late '70's.
Your UK is the first Phillips contract pressing that was pressed, they took over from Pye ,which pressed the first copies, which I have in both mono and stereo copies.(i.e.the chubby font label ones)
Typical of Capitol Records to milk US fans of yet another compilation album
American Military
That UK american Capitol could be a sleeper collectable like the second album and is Beatles 6th American albums pressed in the uk with laminated fold over back cover flaps and were sold cheaper to sell to the overseas military who don't forget were probably young skinny 18-20 year old kids
Only #43 on Billboard. Everyone had the VJ album in its various packaging.
Favorite album?
I had no idea there were so many different center labels and inner sleeves available on the same album(s) - very cool.
First one is a '68-9Jacksonville.Wrong sleeve.Should be white. The first Scranton ones had the turquiose sleeves and would be glossy labelers with orange red and olive green colors in the colorbands with a gray charcoal black background(similar to 2222 Beatles Story standard initial pressings)OR rose red and standard green, ink black, with small white speckle, background.
@@ronmartin4212 well you know more than most people thanks
Well, maybe too much,IDK.Been into records and especially these since the sixties.I only have collected initial Scranton pressings so have learned long ago to ID those.I always had color and hues for each title and confirmed with other surrounding numbers in that 2000 series and was able to determine what the colorband hues were on those particular artist/title/serial number albums.Deep red and deep green was thru out -62-March '64.April thru Aug.'64 were light red and green, with a peach/pink shade in place ofbthe purple shade.Sept.thru early Dec.had orange red tints and olive green tints to those particular colors, then rose red and medium green from Mid-Dec.thru the years end.Easiest way to figure out the initials for each Beatle title,I found. That's on Scrantons.
I'm the first to say nothing like the American apple label my favorite nice shirt.
You do such a great job with your channel. As a diehard Beatles fan and passionate CD bootleg collector since April of 1989, these presentations are not only informative but just plain fun. Thank you so much for the time and effort put into each video. I truly appreciate them.
Cool video pal. Didn't know there was even such a thing as PPM on Capitol. Going to check out the rest of yours too. There's an equivalent PPM clip on my channel including a mega rare UK mono gold label 1st/2nd press crossover if you fancy checking it out
I lost track of how many versions/copies you have! It Is a GREAT album! Enjoyed your video.
I'm surprised you haven't got the Australian yellow cover of "Beatles For Sale"?, same album but was released on an entirely different cover back in early 1965 and was in a single sleeve rather than the gatefold.
Very nice collection! I think I have about the same number of copies of Beatles '65 as you!!!haha😊
Nice one.
The front cover that has the different colours at the bottom is the same photo that was used on the cover of the Beatles For Sale EP.
Beatles for Sale __ their original music __ much better than the cover tunes,,,,,on that particular album __
Great album, especially the first UK stereo pressing -1/-1 which cut was used up until late 60s or so.
The first Beatles album (and proper album) that I bought
I really want one of these, but the recessed floyd and small frets just aren't for me.
One of their many great albums! I'm the same with The Beatles aka "The White Album" with 6 to 7 copies. Thank you.
My original of the Beatles Story got lost over the years so I was super excited that the Capitol albums release is coming. I am buying the box set plus the six individual albums. I have never replaced my original copies and the outer sleeves are very worn and in need of updating. Enjoyed your video, glad I did not turn it off. Take care!
What the difference with the limited edition and the other reissues?

Do you have this album on cassette?
@@resident-z9m no I do not. I wished I did. I would’ve shown it if I had it thanks for checking out the video.
I just checked on what US Beatles albums I might be lacking , and Something New is the only one missing from my collection. I am just after your opinion, please, of which version of Something New sounds better. Is it best listened to in mono or in stereo ? ps, I am here in Australia and I am used to the UK mixes/ albums so I thought I would ask an American such as yourself. Thanks.
@@phillipanderson7398 thanks for checking out my video since you’re used to the UK versions I recommend the Mono also hard to find a clean copy without paying a lot of money. Good luck.
@@thinkbeatles Hi, thanks for getting back so soon. I will now start looking for a mono version of Something New in at least VG plus to Excellent condition. I also don't have the soundtrack albums of Hard Day's Night or Help! yet as they are only soundtracks albums and not a high priority.
I like the part where Ringo is asked about his relationship with some girl and he says it isn't true. But the line he says is so funny, he says "That's a lousy lummox. I've never met the girl".
I had a stereo Canadian rainbow copy that I bought in 71 or 72 and the inner sleeves were white with red writing of the Capitol logos and a close up of a needle in a record groove with a broken tip and promoting the care of records and the stylis. .
Good on you if you want six copies why not rock on that's why you said don't click on the video because you knew people would click on the video take care Next time by 12 copies that will really annoy people love the videos thank you
Capitol should've been ashamed of themselves for that blatant cash grab/scam of a record.
At the time we didn't have the internet and this was sort of cool even though it probably only got played 3 or 4 times, but my god what a fantastic front cover
I didn't . Thumbs down. Blocked.
I do have a later copy of that album on the Apple label for some strange reason, not one I play a great deal though, bit like Hear The Beatles Tell All on the charly label. There are some interesting interview albums out there as well. Interesting to see the different variations you have there.
nice. I will always buy a variation if the price is right.
I have one original mono, No need for any others! But that's me! Funny video though! 😊 Enjoy your weekend, Allan

I guess I appreciate it. It was interesting. I listened to some of it out of curiosity. It’s mostly for collectors. Thanks for sharing. I remember it being sold in Caldor. Glad you enjoyed the album enough to get 6. I wasn’t exactly heartbroken when the Beatles American album cd collection didn’t include it. But it’s a nice album to have if you’re a collector. I’m also glad they have it on cd. I know, nice is boring, eh? But I know I’ll sleep better than I would if I were nasty. And you were nice enough to share the collection! So have a great day!
I turned this thing off and will never know what it's all about.
I regret clicking. That was a nightmare to sit through I can’t believe this is still online… (great video lol)
I for one liked seeing the different versions of the lp
