Hey BahamianGyal!!! I enjoyed it as always.
My spouse and I were talking about this. And he doesn't believe Donald Trump is putting him down, or denigrating him, or making him feel less. And just because Obama says that he is, doesn't mean that black men feel that way.
Which I believe is the essence of the problem... The Democrat party is losing touch with this new generation of black men. Not all, but enough to make a difference.
This new generation is very political. And I think that is a hindrance to a party that focuses on voting around identity politics. These youngsters literally want to hear about policies.
Anyway, just something to think about.

Oh good. Let's vote for the pathologically lying narcissistic draft dodging, grifting, treasonous, white nationalist gangsta thug who hired a white nationalist as his chief advisor and promises to give police absolute immunity and make filming police action illegal....The man who's own White House staff called him "a child" and "a 3 year old....The man who's chief of staff/babysitter called "a F'n idiot." .....The man who's Secretary of State called "a F'n moron" ....The man who throws his meals against the wall (Kathy Hutchinson)....The man who's generals report cannot comprehend nor wants to pay attention to his daily intelligence briefings putting us all in danger and rendering him unable to fulfill his main duty of protecting the American people. I can halfway understand the 'ignorant of the facts' @ss out/sagging, 40 ounce a day, video game playing generation thinking they need a gangsta/thug to lead them and restore their sense of masculinity because this is what's they've been raised on. Half of them think that Trump gave them that Democrat stimulus bill out of his own pocket. THAT'S a dangerously appalling level of ignorance that we NEED to start shaming instead of glorifying.

There’s too much of a push to force these checkmark requirements at the expense of qualifications that demonstrate leadership skills or competency of the role, because of this they are creating shortcuts for the least qualified person to fill in positions that have a basic standard to accomplish goals. Harris for an example never won a single primary, yet the DNC expects everyone to give her platform enthusiasm?!
Noticed how they pushed DEI hire FOR YEARS, but in the last 6 months Harris’ and the DNC have failed to step her back from the potential idea that she is the prime example of DEI hiring. Highly recommend checking out her history in SF as well her shenanigans here in California, and I hope people actually take it seriously how much she (as well as many who pushed for this) is responsible for a lot of the destruction of our country.

While it is understandable that some individuals may feel strongly about certain candidates, it is never appropriate to use force or manipulation to influence someone's vote. I think the most difficult thing about voting in the USA is that no matter who we get as candidates people are always going to complain, and that we have bad choices. As far as what i look for in a Leader, I just want someone who can bring patriotism back, i miss when Americans despite their political leanings, loved to be an American! What happened to that??

I agree. I remember waving an American flag on July 4th and getting dirty looks. I'm like...so the only time people can show pride is if America is attacked? It's sad.

You're right, when I go abroad I say I'm Mexican. You get a different response versus you saying, "I'm American." When Trump was running the first time we were visiting Canada and when they would ask us where we were from. When we responded to the US, we actually got condolences 😮.

@@rferegrino76 Canadians are notoriously anti-American, more than a lot of other nations. It's because they want to distance themselves from us because many other countries view Canada and America as one in the same culturally. I've heard Canadians call the US too far left and too far right, they'll call us too far anything and say they're _sourry_ for us as a way of demeaning us regardless. It means nothing, genuinely.

The having fathers in the house. I have a father, he’s black, and abusive and narcissistic. So not every father being there will help their child. I had to learn what not to be by seeing how he treated me and my family over the years and still trying to recover from all the stuff he put us through. So, yes, some dads can be great. And I hope every child and person has an amazing dad. But not all of us do, or want one who hates us. Stay strong. Great video btw 💖

Hello. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it. And you are right...not all fathers in the house are good fathers. But, when I talk about having dads in the house, I am talking about good fathers. Not abusers, not molesters, not emotionally distant dads. But, you make a very valid point.

Unfortunately that's how my two sons father was/is abusive, narcissistic and so much more (not in a good way). I just ended a 2 year court battle and now have full placement/custody and I did NOT want to have to do that. I wish my kids had a good dad to raise them. I'm a mom and I can do a lot and I do A LOT! but I'm not a man and boys need a good male role model and I'm a woman I can't fill those shoes. To all the good fathers out there that put in effort and try their hardest to raise their kids right...I solute u!

If the democratic party asked Black men why they don't support Harris, they would hear a multitude of justified reasons. Harris would have to confront the past laws and policies and practices she employed during her career that crushed Black people.

People are experiencing epic economic hardships and the last thing needed is the same old rhetoric and zero solutions. What will NOT be tolerated are politicians or anyone for that matter telling black people how to think and certainly who to vote for.
