Dream grass can be found in the backers area. Unless when you cut it it does not respawn, but I feel it does. So if it does respawn, you did not have to make a new save file to see it. Altough, it is a liitle bit more blue.

You can find dream grass in secret location, and it's not only cream-violet this grass can be cream-blue color in this hidden location.(This location is in the Resting Grass in the head of the moth statue (not central, the left one I think))

I know we've all been driven to the brink of madness at this point, but if it's any consolation, Silksong will likely be twice as large as Hollow Knight, on account if halving roughly double the development time. This will probably make it the largest metroidvania yet constructed. Either that, or something went horribly wrong halfway through development.
