Yes this car isn’t exactly exciting but it’s above all dependable forever and well built. I have a new one on order (22 ES300h UL). I’m 45 for the record.
So this is an AWD Camry with much nicer seats, interior appointments, and bodywork. Nothing wrong with that unless the sticker price is a bit too ambitious.
The NA 4 is an interesting choice. I could see its use case in a base base model, but once you start adding options, it’s not too long before you go V6.
Great review of a unique offering. I prefer the Lexus IS. If I were in market for ES, which is a fine luxury vehicle, I have to have the V6. Does Lexus ES V6 come with an AWD option? That infotainment touch control is really a mess.
I'm 38... Looking for luxury, (nicer than Honda/Toyota)...living in California, $6 gas prices don't help me justify getting the V6. I understand the road noise is going to be louder but that's ok, I'd be getting over 30mpg. Can't say that on the V6
I wonder why they chose a 2.4L N/A 4 cyl instead of the 2.0 Turbo on the is300. The 2.0T is much quieter which would probably make this type of car more enjoyable.
Great car for long distance traveling when comfort, build quality, and reasonable mileage is what you’re looking for.
Agreed!

OK! For a young gentlemen like yourself, I really want to know how you're going to use a car like this!
@@BrianMakse well I’m going to trade in my LS500 for the car. An even older man car 😂
@@InternetDude I have to say that I love the diversity of drivers we see on this channel. Enjoy your new ES!
I enjoy the v6 2022 ES. Very nice comfy drive, especially for long trips. 51.
Still miss sport sedans I had before, but don’t drive like that as much.
Great content, especially your recent 2022 Civic Si.
Solid car for particular buyers as you said. Funny, you didn't look like you belonged in that cockpit lol
I'm old enough for a Lexus ES, aren't I?

I remember the 1989 es250 awd
You’ve got a better memory than I do!

This is the only AWD model in the entire range. I'd definitely go with the V6. Buttery smooth.

Plenty to choose from in this segment, Brandon. Have a look around the channel for more options. This one is a pretty sanitized driving experience.

I'm sure there are plenty of engineering and product considerations for that decision. I suspect it'll change sooner rather than later.
Great review! How did you get the F-sport model in Ontario? I looked on their website and it doesn't seem like they offer the ES250 in the F trim.
I used a time machine and went back to 2021.
Which certain group of buyers are you referring to?
100% of ES customers.
@@BrianMakse 😁 me
Lol definitely me.
