I was going to say I FEEL so old and cynical but the truth is, I AM old and cynical, your enthusiasm is wonderful and contagious. Thank you for that. I love your vlogs and look forward to each new installment. Thank you for sharing the world through your eyes and lens.
Hi Kim, Richard here, down in dull, flat Cambridge!, we just had five days up in the Borders, Berwick on Tweed up to Dunbar, and across to Galashiels, took in a visit to Cove on your advice, love it, but I must say that St Abb's head took most of the glory, lovely cliffs, gorgeous little Loch and valley, fabulous seabirds, Kittiwake, Razorbills and Guillemots, hundreds of them, Gannets cruising past all day too and from Bass Rock, as you so rightly say Scotland's East coast is as good as anywhere!. Cheers, Richard.
Thank you Richard and so glad to hear that you had a wonderful time on the east coast! I have never been to that area that you mentioned but always wanted it! St Abbs and Bass rock look exceptional.
I'm lucky enough to live a 10 minute walk from this place. It's totally flooded right now which makes it even more interesting. 1:49 my dog's favourite swimming spot.
It is so good to get away. To hear nature. And to be the only one there. No worries. The light might be strong but I would have my DSLR out. Have a break. Watch the sunset. Now that's a great day. Don't forget something to eat and drink. Thanks again for a great Vblog.
Only 4 years ago I would have thought 18c was a really nice day, now as an ex pat I am wearing a jacket if its not above 20c....great to watch your enthusiasm for your country and subject.
A lovely clip again Kim. It's lovely to see you enjoying a glorious day. I had to chuckle though that 18 is warm. That's positively cold for us here on the east Coast of Northern New South Wales in Australia and tonight we have the fire going and I just checked the temp- 15 degrees! (although it promises to get cold over the next few days) A bit indulgent I know!
Love it when you explore somewhere new Kim :) & how amazing is the east coast of Scotland! That beach is so beautiful. Looking forward to the next one with the sand dunes....
I have to say I enjoy ur explore Scotland videos and what a great way to scout out places that u can return to when the time is right for u to get some great images.... Well done u the east coast dose have alot to offer at sun rise if conditions are right...x
Wow awesome Kim I missed you been watching your old videos back to back. U go to places where other photographers didn't go rearly that's what I like about you. 🤗
If 18 is boiling, I wonder what you would think about our 30 degrees here today in Atlanta. Another good vlog. 10k subscribers are just around the corner. Congrats.
Thru your vlogs you are showing the beauty of Scotland. Especially the, until now, unknown spots and places. I think you must get a job at the tourism center for promoting Scotland 😄😉
Thanks Gary - I have nothing in the pipe line but who knows what the future holds. TH-cam is still only a hobby for me but I do hope one day to make it into something more (one step at a time)
As you're always so happy and upbeat, do you ever have times when you don't feel so upbeat about going out with your camera? If so, what do you do to get that urge back again?
Really enjoyed watching this, you are so cheerie! guess that beach wont be empty now after all the views! P.s what was the yellow thing on the sand behind you reading?
Thank you very much Wadger. I think the yellow thing you're referring to was plastic washed up on the shore. If not, please send the timing of it's appearance and I'll have another look :)
Well Neale, I have made videos featuring those places. I made an explore Scotland video on the Black Isle and a short photography one from Fairy Glen. Feel free to check them out when you have some spare time :) Hope to make more from the Black Isle one day though.
Tell me about it…even up here in the perpetually-rainy, cool Pacific Northwest, we've been up to 25 or 26C a couple of times this spring. (And the only way I can figure out what 18C is is that, back in the old days of film photography, the standard temperature for calculating development time was 20C, which equaled 68F.)
Kim -- I LOVE LOVE LOVE your passion for the outdoors!!

Totally breathtaking!

What a great place! And you were so lucky with the weather to just enjoy it!
Looks like a really interesting, diverse location. That image at 8:39 is terrific, no matter what device you used to capture it.
Hanging out with a book outside is one of my favourite things. Great video again!
Gorgeous video Kim, I was chilling out nicely watching it, imagining being there or similar 🏝🏝🏕

When are you going to start doing photo tours? I’d love to do one next year after my knee replacement.
Thanks Gary - I have nothing in the pipe line but who knows what the future holds. TH-cam is still only a hobby for me but I do hope one day to make it into something more (one step at a time)
