I have a Pentel Tradio 0.7 and I love it. The ink is pitch black and smooth as butter, although not water-proof. Totally recommend it. I had to change the way I write though. I'm a leftie and over-writing makes the pen fail sometimes. Under-writing fixes this problem, and makes the line thicker.

Smooth and vibrant. Energel is an excellent gel ink; I highly recommend it. I prefer metal-bodied pens, so I opted for the Alloy and Philography. I'm not crazy about either as I believe Pentel could do better with the design. I prefer needlepoint tips, so I always make sure I have a decent supply of the 0.7 and 0.5 mm sizes with the violet being my favorite. I haven't come across a gel ink pen that surpasses the greatness of Energel. Thanks Pentel!

But it's interesting because the barrel it's black and the cap coordinates with the ink color. I wonder why wasn't included here 🤔 But OMG if you love the signo gel pen, you will absolutely looooove the energel ink. So smooth, so fast drying, doesn't skip whatsoever. It's definitely better! But I'm not sure if it's archival like the signo ink...
Very smooth... It took me a while to get used to it as I was using pens with greater feedback. On another note - I like thin lines and found that the 0.5 came out like a 0.7. For myself I use a 0.3 so that the line comes out like a 0.4-0.5...
They're all waterproof and fadeproof, it's not just the Energel Permanent. But the Permanent is chemical-proof, too, so ideal for legal documents, etc. Maybe not so great if it were to leak in your pocket or on to your hands, though.
Problem is, every time I find a favorite pen, I need to get them in all the design. And every time it changes, I don't know what to do with the previous collection :'D
You should do a TH-cam video comparing all of the tip sizes of the Pentel Energel RTX pen as for some people, the tip size matters and they also use a 0.3 mm and a 1.0 mm tip size as I believe the 0.5 mm and the 0.7 mm tip sizes are the most common that people use.
I got the alloy in pink and then a bath of 12 refills for ten pounds, and it's been the one pen I use everyday in college for two years now. I'd say it was a valid investment.
I have the pearl Energel ones and I think i'll switch ti the rtx once I save up enough. If you get these they are really good as long as you retract it or put the cap on. I messed up my Black Pearl Pen cause I left it out for a day on accident but it returned the ink after a few days thank god.
I've got 2 energel pens. One is a blue, 0.7 mm RTX model. The other is the pentel energel KURO 0.7 mm in black. But the KURO writes a bit more scratchy than the RTX.
BL417 is really smooth and so cheap(less than half a dollar per piece). I bought one last month and now I'm in love with them, was curious why it was not mentioned in the video.
I use the Clena in the Mint green color everyday in .4mm. I do prefer the conical tips, but Energels only use those in the .7 and upwards? I have so many other brands, but I keep coming back to the Energels for the bold. bright ink (purple is the most beautiful), extra smooth writing and as a lefty I dries in more than sufficient time. I've tried every Uniball, Zebra, other Pentel, G2 (no, thanks), Pilot, TUL, Staedtler, but I still prefer the Energels. Thank you for offering so many options of this line.

As a late millennial, pens used to be my absolute passion. Used to collect and bunch, learned the mechanism, and loved tinkering with them in generally. Now I don’t really use pens and paper anymore, having gone digital, to iPad and kindle, entirely. But I still love watching pen reviews.
I enjoyed 0.7 ener gel. I am looking for 0.5 ener gel pen which is more suitable to my midium size hand. Pls make riffiles available at all stationery shops I can buy pen-pencile combination. Keep researching and making light-strong-better oens.
I have a question... I have noticed that when I write with the energel that I start writing a letter and there are moments where the ink stops and then flows and it repeats... can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

I do not lose caps that much (Like never) but I grew up with retractable pens.
