I've been using this pen since first grade (for 7 years) and I was so happy when u said it's your new favorite pen. Now we are pen twins.
Also, did you know that you can buy refills? They are way cheaper. At least here in Croatia.

The Really nice thing about Pentel energel pens is that their refillable and their refills can fit into multiple different Japanese brands of pens!

PILOT Precise V7 pens in Black have been my favorite pen since I was in Elementary school (5th Grade). This was more than twenty years ago! That was the first year my school allowed students to utilize pens and those happened to be the style of pen I first purchased. I've yet to truly deviate from them. Though I've just recently bought some Sharpie gel pens as well as fineliners, my hand is far too accustomed to my beloved PILOT pens! They are my soulmate in pen form. ✍ 🖤🖤🖤
I prefer fountain pens for journalling, but for everyday writing, the Pentel Energel 0.5 is my favourite, too! The 0.5 ones are super hard to get in Germany in colours other than blue, black and red, though.

I never liked the uni pens, idk if I always just got bad ones but they never wrote consistently and they were too scratchy for me. I love the smoothness and consistency of the energels🥰

My favorite pen to journal with is the actually the Pentell energell needle tip pen as well because of you Carrie I actually just ordered some more from Amazon but 1 thing that I prefer that’s different is I like the 0.3 better than the 0.5 it just flows better with my hand writing but I love love the Pentell energell pen Carrie ❤🖊️
My all-time favorite pen is the Uni JETSTREAM! I like different points for different purposes, but for now I'm very fond, for most general use, of the ultra-fine 0.5mm.

Uniball Signo 207 comes in a needle point. You could have the best of both worlds. I have one so I can verify it.
I love Energel as well! The best pen by far - needle tip 0.5!

Great review and nice to see there also other fellow (leftie) fans out there ☺️ These pens (think it's the Pentel Energel LR7) are still spectacular and I think it's a combination of everything they do well: the feel and joy of writing, how smooth they run over the paper, the vibrancy of the colors and how quick they dry down. Love these! ❤ And I placed an order of almost 50 euro's yesterday for a bunch of refills 😏 Says enough 😋
I like using these black Bic Gelocity pens. It's great for left handers too!(I am also left handed lol)

Recently i bought the pentel engergel liquid gel ink 0.7 (black and blue). I found it was very smooth, however i'm still trying to get the hang on it when writing, bz of my right hand feels a bit werid when writing with pentel energel liquid ink
