Issue#5-8: Waves ***it is implied that Max has arrived in LIS: Before the Storm's "Truth, but don't meet mom" ending. Outraged at her parents, Chloe and Rachel left Arcadia Bay for LA earlier than the events referenced in LIS. The lie ending is canon for the games. 5) about 2 yrs later (2016), Max has been sharing a little apartment with Rachel and Chloe and has a close friendship with the couple. Despite being happy for them, she tends to withdraw from them due to her memories and feelings for Chloe from the other timelines. Chloe (who works as a mechanic) expresses her concerns to Max (freelance photographer for local businesses) about Rachel (who waits tables and is consistently rejected for acting jobs). She worries that all the rejection is wearing Rachel down. Rachel lands an acting job, but it's for 6 months on the east coast and Chloe comes to accept it as a good thing. Meanwhile Max notice a guy dressed in black that no one ever seems to notice and seems to disappear all of a sudden. 6) Max and Rachel hang out and have a heart to heart. Max spots the guy in black again. When Rachel asks why Max is staring at him. When Rachel suddenly can't see him while Max can, Max chases him down, but he tells her to stay away. After an argument betwenn Chloe/Rachel and Max, Rachel urges Chloe to be there for Max. Max, who was considering leaving due to bottling up everything, changes her mind after talking with Chloe. Later, the current timeline versions of Seattle friends of Max and Chloe arrive in LA and the guy in black comes to see Max. 7) Tristan, the guy in black, tells Max about himself. While Tristan and his friend were buying drugs, the cops showed up. Tristan invisiblity kicked in. Thinking Tristan abandoned him, his friend freaked, was shot by the dealers, and died thinking Tristan left him. Max comforts him and tells him about her powers. Later R&C come home to take Max to a party with them (and score some freelance work). While there, the Special Entertainment (drugs) have arrived (Chloe and Rachel are now drugfree). Tristan decide to go to the party, but it turns out the dealers these are the same as those that killed his friend. Meanwhile, Max decides to open up to Chloe, but a party goer has an overdose. Chloe and Rachel tend to them while Max goes outside the party to call 911. She realizes Tristan must be nearby and then hears the dealers gun someone down in the alley (presumably Tristan). **this is the issue Rachel reveals we are in the "Truth" ending. She says her dad's lie tore her family apart. 8) comes out next week 8/21/19.

Time fixes itself all those times Chloe nearly died and Max had to save her that's time saying "you can't fix everything" to Max like life is trying to teach Max something

alot of game companies/developers work on multiple games at a time. they might have a whole animation/writing department on life is strange 2 while they have like another department doing something for a different game.

Couldn't even bonded with the dog for the 5 minutes we had her, such a poor idea narratively to introduce her at the very end of ep 1 n' kill her off the beginning of 2. Like, no dur they were gonna killer but THAT QUICK?? _No restraint I tell ya, Dontnod was eager to have that puppy be cougar food_

I would have loved at least if they kept her in the story until they went to the grandparents house and that they had to decide to leave Mushroom there with the grandparents. it'd still be sad, but at least you'd know she would be better off in that home and well nourished. it was WAY too cruel how they killed her off and that Daniel had to see her body be carried off to be eaten like that. LIS tries to be as dramatic as they can sometimes, it seems.
Yeah could have at least grown a bit attached to it. I mean I threw a stick for it once and now I’m reading a paragraph at its funeral. Kinda seems like it’s only purpose was to be another item of destruction for Daniel to moan about throughout the following chapters.
I like how everyone is talking about how good the fan made short is made and how mushroom is in it, but no one talks about there being like elements of FireWatch in it
Yeah, they want to kill chloe in a new game, i didnt expect anything from squer but they managed to dissapoint me. I Hope so much we see something new from sbel than for me he deserves the lis franchise more than squer. We all know max wouldnt sacrafice chloe, she wouldnt even think about it. I wish sbel would make a full Game, i would pay gladly 80€ for a full pricefield game from him, even tho he isnt a studio but i dont care at this point

I am not a big fan of the max and chloe together ending, but I can't deny that this looks absolutely fantastic, and really feels like an official product
The voice actors did amazing and this feels like it could be the original life is strange! At 40:07 i really thought Max was just having a bad vision of something that already happened i didn't expect that plot twist. I have no words. This is amazing. Keep up the great work you're so talented
Max’s voice changed but you know what? That’s cool. She still has that soft voice, but a happier one now. I like that. Chloe’s voice seems so accurate and I always loved her voice

It was amazing, Max and Chloe's voice are very good. The map is very beautiful to see and all the interactions are pretty similar to the original game. There are some things you should improve in my opinion. The camera FOV doesn't feel like Life is Strange (in cinematics). The third person camera is amazing. Delete the camera movements, It makes it obvious that is a fan-game with those. Just making a zoom is enough and looks better. Chloe felt emotionless (not the voice actress, she's really good), and the last scene...there is no feeling for that house, so it feels unnecessary... More cinematics and dialogues could help. And last thing... the video was pretty long but it is like a third part of an episode if we talk about story-telling. Oh, Chloe model looks akward. THAT'S ALL. It is good, really good, I never used Unreal Engine so I don't know if it's possible to make all those things... and I just wanted to give a critique. I hope you want to make more episodes and keep going with this hella amazing project...
The Chloe model is awkward but I find the Max one much more awkward. It looks like Daniel was recolored and then had a wig put on him. I find it off putting. Chloe has a weird model but it's decent, it just had a weird twitching idle animation.
This was so good! I love the environment design, especially in the house. It really does feel like it's been lived in by Chloe and Max. The sound design is also amazing, it brings the whole game together wonderfully. Not to mention the great voice acting. I did feel like Chloe's voice was a little shaky, at times it sounded like she was about to cry but in general, their voices sound exactly the same. There are only a few things that I think could be worked on: There's this weird shine/glint in Chloe and Max's models which make them look a bit odd. Chloe's model looks a bit weird? Her mouth looks like a dark hole. Sometimes I think when she talks her mouth opens a little too big. The mouth animations are not synced to what they are saying but that doesn't bother me too much personally. Again, this was phenomenal work!| I'm dying to see more of this.
Its comign back. Remaster coming early 2022. Aaaaaand the potentially happening LiS4 with them back as the main protagonists. There was a leak which correctly predicted True Colours, including the title, name of the protagonist, her powers etc. In the same leak, it was said that a direct sequel to the first game was in development, with Max and Chloe back. But the leaker also said he hadn't heard about that project in months, which might means its either still slowly happening, or been cancelled.

I love the idea of this but I can't shake the fact that the max model and chloe model just don't look like max or chloe really at all. I do want to say that the voice lines are amazing. Both in the content and the voice actors!

When I played LiS for the first time I know that there were more than developers showed ... something like the time wanted to protect itself when it repeatedly tries to kill Chloe ... or I got an idea that there were another time traveler who mastered the time travelling more than Max and copied that tore photo and give it back to her later ... so after I watched this I am just sad that this isn´t from the official developers because it makes me to start thinking about everything in the game again. Well, you are very tallented and you should continue in your great job!

its hard for me to find the right words to describe the way life is strange made me feel playing it for the first time, seeing this amazing work i really hope they'd make an open world life is strange based on the first game, and just go anywhere you'd like and talk to people, attend class and basically follow max's storyline and everyday life... i know its not gonna happen but it doesnt hurt dreaming about it...

I would have loved at least if they kept her in the story until they went to the grandparents house and that they had to decide to leave Mushroom there with the grandparents. it'd still be sad, but at least you'd know she would be better off in that home and well nourished. it was WAY too cruel how they killed her off and that Daniel had to see her body be carried off to be eaten like that. LIS tries to be as dramatic as they can sometimes, it seems.
Yeah could have at least grown a bit attached to it. I mean I threw a stick for it once and now I’m reading a paragraph at its funeral.
Kinda seems like it’s only purpose was to be another item of destruction for Daniel to moan about throughout the following chapters.

It was amazing, Max and Chloe's voice are very good. The map is very beautiful to see and all the interactions are pretty similar to the original game.
There are some things you should improve in my opinion.
The camera FOV doesn't feel like Life is Strange (in cinematics). The third person camera is amazing.
Delete the camera movements, It makes it obvious that is a fan-game with those. Just making a zoom is enough and looks better.
Chloe felt emotionless (not the voice actress, she's really good), and the last scene...there is no feeling for that house, so it feels unnecessary... More cinematics and dialogues could help.
And last thing... the video was pretty long but it is like a third part of an episode if we talk about story-telling.
Oh, Chloe model looks akward.
THAT'S ALL. It is good, really good, I never used Unreal Engine so I don't know if it's possible to make all those things... and I just wanted to give a critique.
I hope you want to make more episodes and keep going with this hella amazing project...

The Chloe model is awkward but I find the Max one much more awkward. It looks like Daniel was recolored and then had a wig put on him. I find it off putting. Chloe has a weird model but it's decent, it just had a weird twitching idle animation.

The voice actresses voices were on point!
This was so good! I love the environment design, especially in the house. It really does feel like it's been lived in by Chloe and Max. The sound design is also amazing, it brings the whole game together wonderfully. Not to mention the great voice acting. I did feel like Chloe's voice was a little shaky, at times it sounded like she was about to cry but in general, their voices sound exactly the same.
There are only a few things that I think could be worked on:
There's this weird shine/glint in Chloe and Max's models which make them look a bit odd.
Chloe's model looks a bit weird? Her mouth looks like a dark hole. Sometimes I think when she talks her mouth opens a little too big.
The mouth animations are not synced to what they are saying but that doesn't bother me too much personally.
Again, this was phenomenal work!| I'm dying to see more of this.
imagine this is where they cross paths with the 2nd story of Life is strange with Daniel and Sean! That would be so dope.

Aaaaaand the potentially happening LiS4 with them back as the main protagonists. There was a leak which correctly predicted True Colours, including the title, name of the protagonist, her powers etc. In the same leak, it was said that a direct sequel to the first game was in development, with Max and Chloe back. But the leaker also said he hadn't heard about that project in months, which might means its either still slowly happening, or been cancelled.

When I played LiS for the first time I know that there were more than developers showed ... something like the time wanted to protect itself when it repeatedly tries to kill Chloe ... or I got an idea that there were another time traveler who mastered the time travelling more than Max and copied that tore photo and give it back to her later ... so after I watched this I am just sad that this isn´t from the official developers because it makes me to start thinking about everything in the game again.
