    Disney: Are you listening? This. This right here. MORE of this. more kinetics, more originality, more effort like this. this will drive people BACK to the parks.
    i guarantee it.

      You hit the nail square on the head. Bring the nostalgia. Bring the movement. The imagination. This is what so many of us go to Disney parks craving.

      Spot-on comment. The obsessive hunger to exploit I.P. like "The Avengers" steals away the kind of child-like wonder and imagination that Disney is supposed to be about at its core. Yes, Disney has always used I.P. (What else is Fantasyland?), but your insightful comment suggests something I think late-stage Disney has drifted away from and needs more of. Thank you for putting it into succinct words.

      @@DavaldodI agree with you excepting that the use of modern IPs like the Avengers will be nostalgic for current generations in future.

    • @Davaldod
      @Davaldod ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ThemePark-TV I'm sure you're right. As much as I enjoyed "The Avengers" films, they don't actually mean anything to me in terms of a particularly "Disney" experience. Doesn't mean it doesn't mean something to others.

    • @blazedlikeamf
      @blazedlikeamf ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ThemePark-TVI can guarantee you Avengers Campus will NOT be a core memory for kids growing up today. I say this because Avengers Campus lacks the core values and design ethics that Imagineers usually use to convey adventure, wonder and a timeless setting. Avengers Campus is a place to deposit a brand and when the public decides that brand isn’t relevant anymore, Avengers Campus becomes irrelevant.

    Ok, i know this is about the Treehouse, but this is also an example of the attention to detail that Disneyland does. While looking out from the Treehouse over Adventure land, and New Orleans Square, when you look down onto the rooftops of the surrounding buildings, Disneyland has the rooftops to match the look of the buildings from the ground level. Bravo Disney!

    If you go back to timestamp 20:40 you will see a giant conch-shell to the left of the river. I believe this is the original sink, which was in the main room of the Swiss Family Tree House, now "Mother's Magical Music Room." (You may have to go back for a closer look to see IF there is a drain hole in the basin of it) When the attraction was the Swiss Family Tree House, the water from the Water Wheel would pump water up into the tree house and dump it into a barrel, which would "trickle" water into the sink. The big secret was, there was a fresh water supply into the spigot as Imagineers did not want the guests drinking any of the water from the stream, as it was recirculated river water and not safe for guests to drink.
    The current direction of traffic IS the original flow from the days of it being 'The Swiss Family Treehouse,' with one minor change; where there is a phonograph upon the decent, you would go under the heavey branch. There would be an embroidered sign with tatted fringe stating, "Mind Thy Head."
    Now to ruin a bit of the Disney Magic . . . even then as now, the water wheel and bucket brigade . . . is powered by an electric motor to operate the animation. The stream is not large enough to move everything. This is reason it was taken out with the Tarzan Treehouse revamp is there was not enough money to fix the animation AND why WDW has not spent the money to renovate theirs.

    This is classic Disney I remember when I was a little kid walking through the treehouse which one of my favorite attractions because I used to pretend I lived there. The one thing I do miss however, was the fact that the bamboo water system was originally cut in half so you could actually see the water running from one area of the house to another. But the imagineers did an amazing job here. This is the way it was meant to be, and almost the way it originally was.

    There are _three_ significant books in the music room. You saw Tarzan and Swiss Family Robinson, but you missed the copy of Robinson Crusoe. You also didn't zoom in on the sheet music on the organ. It has the music for the treehouse song, but also reveals that there are lyrics for it.
    I was also hoping you'd comment on the sound zones they have for the rooms. Instead of just hearing the same music everywhere you go, there are changes and additions. I think that's a first for the treehouse.

    Yasssss 😃 I am so excited 😊 🤗 heading out in the morning 🎉. We have waited 3 years because we went right after they shut the treehouse down. Now, it is back to my nostalgic childhood version. I can't wait!

    This was always my favorite attraction and Swiss Family Robinson my favorite movie, but there are no beds represented in the rooms so it appears incomplete to me. Still love it !!

    I sort of feel sorry for you Fresh… because all the excitement of the build and those “Look… there are 6 workers at that level” are all gone. (smile) 25:49

    My girlfriend was at the park today and saw you and katie and spencer…I’m so jealous. I’ve never been to disney and she’s hopefully taking me soon 😅 she has me watch all of your guys’ videos so I’m prepared lol.

    Aloha Dave and thank you for this...I've been looking forward to your tour.
    The only thing that bugs me is the sight lines...the trees that were there softened the two story stuco buiilding that sits right there...the location is tight but with the old stump entry and tree line NOS was not in the sight line...
    I really do love this Tree House and the effort put in....the sightline blows the illusion a bit

      I agree. Looking at the crowds in New Orleans Square, the Indiana Jones ride line, and stucco building walls is a bad thing that spoils the atmosphere of being in a supposedly isolated wilderness treehouse. Maybe the can add some vines, branches, ivy, and/or leaves to improve the experience.

      Thanks..I wasn't trying to throw water on the parade but looking at a waterfall with a white stucco building behind it and Club33 right there kinda blows the alusion...they had a row of trees there with the other Tree House renditions and no sight line issue at all...and aas a reminder..the Treehouse predates NOS.@@marci.5597
