Hi.. loved the review on this bike. Quick question.. I'm a novise when it comes to riding. I Havnt even gotten my full licence yet ( I will be getting in june). I love this bike so far. I'm not into speed, don't want to race anyone, and all I want to do is jump on a safe,good-looking bike in the summertime with my girlfriend. Would you recommend this bike as my first bike? I'm only short at 5.7 and weigh around 11 stone. I feel like this could be the bike for us, but could you give me your expert advice, please . Again, I loved this review, and thank you so much..
Thanks for that nice video. I "downgraded" myself from a 1000cc BMW to the Super Meteor 650 because I was shocked in love when I read about it and have seen it at the dealers. After a test ride, I signed the contract and sold my BMW to buy that nice midweight cruiser. This is my first cruiser type bike at all and after a short time, I got familiar with the position of the pegs and all. Some people smile or laugh when they hear about the decent power and torque. But I have to say, it is absolutely enough. This motorcycle will take you wherever you like. It is fine to ride in the cities, great for country roads and even powerful enough for expressways. It runs so smooth and makes you enjoy every ride on it. So much fun in taking a trip. It makes you relaxed and brings a smile of joy to the face. I do not regret having bought that machine. Your opinion on this motorcycle covers my experience on it until now. It is a really nice, easy to ride and pleasant bike.
I'm 6'4" and 18.5 stone and bought a super Meteor a couple of months ago and absolutely love it! With the forward controls I find it Mega comfortable , the remapping they've done to the engines ECU makes it feel like a brand new engine and nothing like the interceptor ... The fit and finish is as good as any bike I've owned.... Great review Kate 👍👍👍
I got the SM650 as my first bike as I fell in love with it at the Motorcycle live last year. I'm 6'3" and its super comfy and allows me to potter about beautifully!

Have you seen this one live. This is definitely a big step up on what the Indian builders have done in the past. Seriously looks as good as a triumph. Because I know exactly what you meant with your comment and would totally agree until I saw this bike a few days ago.
I have the Classic 350 and love it. I did test ride the Super Meteor 650 and rate it very highly too. Lack of rev counter is no biggie on these kind of bikes - with such a flat torque curve you're not looking for the powerband. The engine speaks to you anyway. It's only a bit weird if you're used to looking for one. 47 bhp is plenty these days with the ever decreasing speed limits and speed cameras everywhere. Smaller capacity bikes get more relevant every year. Nice review 👍
Best RE Meteor 650 bike review ever i saw todays world even youngsters prefer plastic sports bike but you like a roaring LION in a jungle strong girl drive strong steel bike
Did 15000km on my 350M. I've had the 650SM two months and covered 3000km. Had the left hand peg on the floor, didn't mean too, second day on the bike and the handling just so good. Fitted 20mm handlebar risers and made the riding position even better, for me. Great review 👌👌
Sounds like it handles a lot better than a Harley-Davidson. My introduction bike to cruisers was a 750lb kitted-out Dyna Superglide with forward controls and 1500cc air cooled twin. A friend lets me borrow it when I visit.
Had a couple of rides of the SM650 and prefer it to the INT650 and the SG650. More comfortable and stable. Ergos are great and I am 6' 1". I did not know the Tripper speaks too, that is the same on my Transalp 750, thanks Kate. The engines on these bikes are sublime, flexible, plenty of torque, no snatchiness, and the roll on is great. Just have to get used to the peg position. Thanks for your help!
What a difference to that BMW video you did a while back which took you 30 minutes to explain how it worked. Back to basics biking does it for me every time, all these electronics on modern day bikes bore me to tears.
Got this bike 2 months ago. Was very surprised with the handling of the bike. I ride it like it’s a naked sport bike 😂. Goooorgeous engine, amazing looks. I’m 6.1, 85kg, 34 inch inseam and this bike doesn’t feel cramped at all, fits quite well for a wide range of statures I reckon. Sadly though it’s my first cruiser ever, and I just don’t like the feet forward controls so won’t be a forever bike. Other than that great bike providing you like cruisers! Totally agree with this review. Brilliant machine. I'm 6'3", 32" inside leg. Took it for an unplanned long test ride because I got lost as my phone mount was broken. Made my way home via A1M so sat there at indicated 80, fastest and fast enough. Got fuel, phoned dealer, put my snood on and changed my helmet and mobile holder then had a fantastic cruise. Torque everywhere, forward control nothing like as far forward as my Dragstar so easy peasy. Plenty of grunt for overtaking. Lovely sound. Going to get one.

Hei i liked your review of Royal Enfield 650 Mateore.Royal Enfield 350 Hunter is most beautiful motorcycles of Royal Enfield and without increasing the kerb weight Royal Enfield has to launch a 6 Gears Royal Enfield 650CC motorcycles.
Hi Just bought one in the USA love it so far only have 100 miles on so far my last bike was a Yamaha Raider 1900 cc so need to ride this one more am here in Florida ride here are great. So far it’s a great bike
Have had super meteor for a few months ….don’t understand why people need to go more than 100 mph unless your on the track otherwise you could be in the morgue….although may be trading in eventually for the new shotgun ….Had sportster s and selling it now that I have this …the sportster was the exact opposite of this nothing but problems …The RE just is a reliable usable motorcycle
Best thing about Royal Enfield is price of all the aftermarket parts since they are all coming from India. Worst is servicing since you need to take off the tank every oil change.
Looks like a fun ride. That would be ideal for me as I'm a shorty. 29 in leg like you said so ideal. Like the traditional British bikes rather than a high revving rice grinder for engine then. You called those front forks upside down. I'm old enough to remember when that was the only way they came. It's the right way up.
Hi Kate, enjoyed your review, just one thing to mention, if you prefer mid pegs Royal Enfield do a kit. I think a lot of people with lower back problems would like mid pegs, rather than the feet forward set up. Thank you.
@@danielkerr4100 yes you can. I use them specifically for that reason. Obviously you can’t use them all the time because the controls are on the forward pegs but you can periodically use them to change position and alter where your weight is being felt. They do make a difference. Especially on longer rides.
@@danielkerr4100 Hi, I didn't know about that, the information I got was from a review by TMF which he stated you can buy a kit from Royal Enfield for about £400 to convert to mid pegs. Thank you.
Love your reviews . Here's a request as an older rider , 75 , I'd like to see you review a Can Am spider RT . I don't believe any European bloggers have reviewed a 3 wheeler .
Bloody hell we live so close to where you rode! I'd love to ride with my wife with you - that'd be ace - plus I'm about to start doing videos, you kindly helped by answering an email as to how etc.. cheers pal, safe riding!
Hi Kate, Thank you for your meteor 650 review whtich I enjoyed very much. I think that RE have a winner with the 650. I have the meteor 350 which I bought for economy, and most importantly the low seat height of 740mm as I am 5ft 5ins. At this seat height I can place my feet flat on the ground and easily manouvre the bike. Regards, david, leyland
I’ve ordered one (1st September). Really enjoyed watching both your videos on this bike and particularly showing the navigation set up. My only concern is getting my feet off the foot rest and between the gear shifter as I’ve got rather large feet! It’s just a shame they don’t do that exact colour you rode, in the interstellar version (with the seat and the backrest?) To add all that on as after market parts, actually takes it more expensive than buying the interstellar model itself, but I think I prefer the two tone colour. I’m just under 6’1 ft, so having sat on the bike, I really did like its comfort. I’m only buying it for a Sunday afternoon bike, as I’ve got two big BMWs, which I use for touring. I think value for money. They are absolutely superb machines and I really appreciate you putting this video up. 😊👍🏻
Well it’s the old biker again, young lady your a kick in the pants. Love your style. Where were you in 1962? Back then not too many young women rode bikes. Great to see young women up at the front seat riding and not on the buddy seat. Like your videos thanks for your efforts bringing the latest. Take care, be safe out there on those British roads. Looks scary riding on the wrong side of a street. Never understood why that is. Back in the USA burning rubber on the black top…
Ei, estou curtindo muito seu canal! Parabéns pelos conteúdos e pela forma que passa as informações, com muito detalhes e clareza nos assuntos abordados, parabéns mesmo! Continue assim 😙😊
Hey, really enjoyed the video. Thank you very much! I was wondering why some people complain about the back suspension being hard and not good for a long ride but it did not feel like that on your ride(?).
I’m attempting to choose between the Interceptor dark and SM. I’ve now watched so many videos all I’ve ended up doing is just confusing myself even more about which bike I want….. The top heavy feeling you get when you first take the Interceptor off the side stand makes it feel twice the weight of the SM.
I live in the states and they haven't made it here.....yet. I like the styling and I think the 650cc engine is a peach of a powerplant. But RE is starting to get a little pricey. The Kawasaki W800 is much more of a bike and the Kawasaki dealers will knock alot off the MRSP and some of them won't charge a destination fee or set up fee. All this will bring the price down almost to what a Super Metoer would cost. And the RE dealers always chage a destination charge and set up fee. There are other bikes in the same price range, the tried and proven Honda Shadow is a little long in the tooth, but what a great bike it is.The Kawasaki Vulcan S, also a 650cc is a great bike in the same price range. I don't know which one I'd choose if I were in the hunting mood. I would like to see you try out a new Harley Davison 975 NIghtster to see what you think of them. Ride safe and enjoy every journey.
On the subject of lack of tacho - it's a cruiser, not a bike designed for tear-arsing around on. Riders should be able to hear their engines and judge revs accordingly. A tacho might be nice to have, but surely shouldn't be missed. Looking forward to my test ride on one!
Hi Kate , your on about the size to ride this bike , theres a channel called 2wheeled willy he rides one and a classic 350 , of memory he's 6'4 , not slagging him off i like his channel
I have a Scram 411 with the Tripper and have found it to mostly be a gimmick. If it usef Google maps or Waze, it might be better. Mine tried to route me thru a secure military base once. Luckily i dont have a criminal record!
That's why I didn't get along with the Beeline I had. The arrow not being accurate enogh in buildup areas. The crossings too close to eachother. Well, when we're talking bhp and peakpowers, we really don't hit reality figures. My bike has 78bhp on the rear tyre, but do I always use all of them. No. This one with 47bhp might have a flat curve meaning those horses pulls all the time. Looking at you overtaking cars so effortless, points at that. Thank you!
I have the Meteor 350 which i love, however the tripper keeps loosing connection with my phone. its no big deal and probably my crappy phone.. Your 650 is beautiful..
Your mentioned idea of Cruisers being rattle cans that shake yer fillings out, is a bit antquainted. You obviously have not ridden many. If any Cruisers at all, then it is usually the older Harleys that are the Vibrators. Cruising is my preferred style of riding, although I like most bikes, predominately Nakeds and Adventure. What I found very positive on this review/bimble was the fact you explained the RE Navi-system. Not been done before on other Enfields with this feature (as far as I know). No need to Worry about scratching anything in the corners, that is usually only the case if you have floorboards which is not the case here..., or if you have Racing genes in your blood! Thanks for your words of wisdom about this Super Meteor, as an Enfield is under consideration as my next, and probably last bike. See ya.

Great review, looked like a really quaint coffee shop, what a perfect place to ride to.
Love the look of this motorcycle
Great Job on the Video! You kept it interesting.
Would love one of these, it would be even better with shaft drive 💪🏻👌🏻🏴
Great review. I’m a Thruxton rider and wondered a bit about the REM. Cheers!
The usual, so good, informative, real world and fun video, Kate.
The Gasket is definitely a place to go. I like the bike.
Saw this at Live last year - awesome looking bike. Great review.
Another great review, it looks a great bike.
Great content. Keep em comin!
hhahahaha great little video with a fab ending!
Cracking insight to the bike Kate , and what a bike for the money
Hi Kate, enjoyed your review, just one thing to mention, if you prefer mid pegs Royal Enfield do a kit. I think a lot of people with lower back problems would like mid pegs, rather than the feet forward set up. Thank you.
You can get folding aluminium pegs from Tec Parts. Simply screw in to the bottom of the frame. £30. They work great.
@yorkshiretyke7291 but can you put them as mid pegs? Because i have lower back problems and rather not have feet forward
Thank you.
I love those people who loves speed
Made me laugh watching you muscle round a cruiser through them lanes, as always kate a totally great and informative video . Ride safe kate.😊
Love your reviews . Here's a request as an older rider , 75 , I'd like to see you review a Can Am spider RT . I don't believe any European bloggers have reviewed a 3 wheeler .
I'd love the opportunity to take one out! I messaged them when I first started doing TH-cam so maybe it's time to try again! :)
Poor *Keef* Usernamekate, am sure the chap will watch this upload and say *hi* - Good content on the 650, QQ.
What a smashing video 🙂
Bloody hell we live so close to where you rode! I'd love to ride with my wife with you - that'd be ace - plus I'm about to start doing videos, you kindly helped by answering an email as to how etc.. cheers pal, safe riding!
Just started watching the video,it looks like you have a nice sitting position
Hi Kate, Thank you for your meteor 650 review whtich I enjoyed very much. I think that RE have a winner with the 650. I have the meteor 350 which I bought for economy, and most importantly the low seat height of 740mm as I am 5ft 5ins. At this seat height I can place my feet flat on the ground and easily manouvre the bike. Regards, david, leyland
I'd gladly trade the "tripper" for 200 more cc and 20 more hp. I'd buy it. It's a good looking bike.
Hehe I like your thought process
It has the heel & toe shifter so you shouldn't have a problem.
Dont like the lack of not seeing the revs! Might go for a test ride..
Great review!
I am still waiting for Royal to make a bike which isn't low horsepower/high weight. Love their looks but I ride for fun, and in traffic.
Nice review. Thanks
You're welcome! 🙏
nice ride, I have made up my mind. going to get a 650 soon.
❤ from India 😊
Amazing!! How do you record the audio of the exhaust and narration?
Girl, I loved this video. Greetings from CDMX 🥑🌶🌽🌵 🚲💯
Looks great bike
I'm glad people are liking this bike. is way to small for my taste, but you know in the states we over size gringos like our big bikes.
On the subject of lack of tacho - it's a cruiser, not a bike designed for tear-arsing around on. Riders should be able to hear their engines and judge revs accordingly. A tacho might be nice to have, but surely shouldn't be missed.
Looking forward to my test ride on one!
Beautiful countryside views and lovely host 😊
Thank you so much 🥰
Hi Kate , your on about the size to ride this bike , theres a channel called 2wheeled willy he rides one and a classic 350 , of memory he's 6'4 , not slagging him off i like his channel
Thank you!
Hi Kate great video..just watch the T-junctions scrub a little speed, hazard perception..ride safe
Another great review Kate..
How did you get along with the heel-toe shifter ?
Get along fine with it :)
I have the Meteor 350 which i love, however the tripper keeps loosing connection with my phone. its no big deal and probably my crappy phone..
Your 650 is beautiful..
Cherub buttox 😂 hilarious. Great review.
Not a cruiser fan, but the meteor looks great.
See ya.
I was only playing on the stereotype 😉 I know there's a fair few smooth operators out there 😊 cheers for the nice comment 👍
