Great video Dave , its valuable for all us guy to take time to learn , as you know we never stop learning, manufacturers make our job so easy NOT now , a great piece of kit , will help the winner a great deal in the job , so much valuable time is spent doing diagnosing, well done sir
Another quality video Dave. First saw volt drop across fuses being done by ScannerDanner a year or two back. Used it to good effect a few times since. 👍
dave sterl I’m good dave cheers, still a regular watcher just more on the big tv rather than my phone. Just ordered one of these (great price!) I’m still after one of these www.aeswave.com/uactivate-circuit-test-assistant-p8975.html Can’t find any uk distributors and Infact AES are out of stock too.
Handy wee rig Dave. Takes the "leg" work out of the charts. Excellent point about the El-cheapo fuses! Heading toward a "Grand". Wow incredible. Knowing the effort you put in and the contribution you have made to the "Clan" not surprising in the least. Every Sub well deserved...Don't forget that the next time some black heart tests your forbearance. Cheers Pal
£30 that was vat and del included. Like you say Dave handy wee tool at the price . Probably priced right at about £30, much more than that don't think I would have bought it.
U covered a lot in this vid great job all bases covered I get the use of the amp hound but I go back to investing in a fluke dvom 87v keeps me from buying specific meters kind of like specialty products they sit in the cabinet which is already full
Nice video Dave.. little side note. When using those cheap fuses they tend to melt instead of pop.... Which could inturn cause a fire.. tested that out in a training course. P.s I work right next to the Eaton company😁
Great video as always dave, I have the blue point one , yes it’s the lazy way to do things but it speeds up the process in my opinion. Here to 1k subscribers 👍
Great explanation of how fuses work even taught me something lol. As for that Sealey tool, that will certainly cut down the time of finding those paraistic draws. Does it work on kids as mine are constantly drawing on the bank of dad 🤣😂
How do you test if the circuit is drawing amps if the battery is dead? Do you have to charge battery first? Or does it somehow figure out the amp draw with the battery dead?

Lol might not work on the kids
Off is hitting the two fuse buttons at the same time. Or auto off after ten mins of idle.

Great video as always
Good job dave . Nearly 1k sub mark!
Should be able to press the fuse type and fuse amo buttons together to turn it off.Atleast that's how I turn off my Amp Hound 2.
