Most Africans love their enslavers more than they love themselves...I understand this president. He knows OUR STORY VERY WELL. The Arabs preyed on the Africans first through slavery before the Europeans 'finished' the job. THANK YOU, SIR. Love from Sydney.

Not really…Muslims got slaves from the caucus mountains primarily…hence the origin of the term Slav…furthermore the concept was entirely different from the Anglo-American chattel slavery…a slave owned by a Muslim could potentially be an emperor (e.g. the Mamalukes)

@@islamiincognito3115And if I may boldly add to your point. I have never heard of a descendant of chattel slavery being called or considered white. Many former slaves of Muslims (all races from Europe, Asia, and Africa) are now considered Arab (that’s called inclusion). I won’t get into Arab Slavery vice Euro/American Chattel slavery as there are major differences but the Arabs did not teach the Europeans how to be enslavers.

Even in Tanzania especially in Zanzibar many of them are proud to identify as Araba even though they have a dark skin tone and for many generations their ancestors originate from Congo who were taken as slaves to work in Zanzibar plantations, some of them are mixed afro arabs will force to identify as 100 % arabs, when they act like that we plainly call them waarabu koko, The worst part is that the arabs still see them as Africans, wont even let them marry their daughters unless they are so rich or hold power.
The post-colonial effects are very serious, especially in places that were long colonized by Arabs. I am a light-skinned Tanzanian, but I will forever be proud to identify as African. Each time I see a fellow Africans who are darker than me saying otherwise, I am left speechless. It's a shame when I see fellow brothers and sisters self-hating their origins. Even for the Afro-Arabs, many of them are predominantly of African heritage, They don't come close to being Arab, but the energy they use to force the Arab identity is pure self-hate of their African heritage side which dominates their dna

GPT SAYS - The flaw in the argument is the assumption that geographical locations inherently possess the cultural or ethnic characteristics of the people who inhabit them.
This flaw can be broken down as follows:
Cultural and Ethnic Identity vs. Geography: The designation of a region like the "Arab Peninsula" or "Arab world" is based on the cultural and ethnic identity of the people living there, not just on geographical features. The term "Arab Peninsula" (more accurately the Arabian Peninsula) is used because of the Arab populations who live there and their cultural influence.
Human Influence on Geography: Geographical names and definitions are often influenced by the people who inhabit those regions and their cultural, historical, and political contexts. The Arabian Peninsula is termed as such due to the dominance of Arab culture and language. Without the presence and influence of Arab people, it would just be a geographical landmass without that specific cultural designation.
Circular Reasoning: The argument implicitly assumes that geographical regions have intrinsic cultural identities, which is a form of circular reasoning. It uses the presence of Arab people to define the Arabian Peninsula and then uses that definition to claim where Arab people are located.
Static vs. Dynamic Definitions: Geographical and cultural identities are not static. They evolve over time due to migration, political changes, and cultural shifts. The argument fails to recognize this dynamic nature and incorrectly assumes a static relationship between geography and cultural identity.
Thus, the flaw is also in the presumption that geographical locations like the Arabian Peninsula inherently carry the cultural or ethnic identity of the people, ignoring the role of human influence and definition in these designations.

Saudi Prince Mansor looks like a black African more then some black Africans yet he is Arab ( his father is a Caucasian Arab ) but you wouldn’t know he is Arab by looking at him, Saudi royal family have one great grandfather ( you can see his picture in museums ) yet you see members of his grandchildren having blue eyes or green with very light skin and even blonde hair especially among the females , yet there ancestors are all Arabs and you also see brown members of the royal family who’s ancestors are Arabs , Arabs and Semitic people originally came from the caucuses and Anatolia , but because there expansion to Arabia and Africa they mixed with African given them brown color while others continued to pass the original physical appearance this explains why they have almost European looks although they are not European .

Long ago, the Islamic Caliphate used to administer their rule across a vast empire that spanned across all of North Africa and parts of East Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and South East Asia, and the Africans (Moors, Berbers etc), Europeans and the Asians within that empire NEVER called themselves Arabs, eventhough they all studied an Arabic Quran. But ever since Arab Nationalism replaced the Caliphate (which at that time was being handled by the Turks ironically), the identity of Arabism took root in the last vestiges of Islamic countries.

Let me start by saying this: I am 100% Sudanese, coming from the ancient kingdom of Kush, true Nubian royalty. That being said, President Museveni is a disgrace. He's aiding other countries in invading Sudan and was complicit in the assassination of Dr. John Garang alongside the US and the West.
Am I African? Absolutely. Am I Arab? Probably yes, as well. It's important to understand that Sudan is a diverse nation, with about 50% identifying as Arab and 50% as Black African. If you travel to the Arabian Peninsula, you'll find millions of Black Arabs. Sudan is one of the oldest countries in Africa, home to over 400 tribes, with a rich mix of cultures and ethnicities-from the darkest of dark to the fairest of fair. We are Sudanese, and that’s our identity.
A simple DNA test between Ugandans and Sudanese would reveal our distinct heritage. When the war ends, we coming after you President Museveni.

Pan-Africanism is a pernicious ideology that fails to take into account differences, tribalism and individualism which is inherent to humans... Africans should work together to have a healthy, productive and rich economy that benefits them all but that's where it ends... humans aren't monolithic and there'll always be differences and for the most part, every group should stay in their country and Black Africans should stop with this nonsensical monopolistic attitude and realise the world isn't black or white

If Africa can't do that, then the continent is doomed to fail in every aspect. Remaining divided along racial and tribal lines creates indifference towards each other. Indifference makes it easy to be divided and controlled by foreign interests. It also creates political instability that leaves the countries vulnerable to exploitation.Nearly every war, or political crisis in African countries created internally or exploited by outsiders, has identity politics at its core. Pan-Africanism will never work in the current state that it is... humans aren't monolithic and there'll always be differences... the EU shows that there isn't "a one size fits all" and what's good for somebody isn't necessarily good for somebody else... Africa is also very young compared to other continents and there'll always be problems but "one identity and one future" is a fantasy and everyone's situation is different... you talk about the US which is one of the most racially divided places but it has power but that will change as times change... there was a time Southern Europe was the foremost power in Europe but that's all changed now... there was a time Southern Europe/Middle East/North Africa/Horn Africa were so intertwined and have such a long, rich and complex history and all gave the world so much but now there's as fragmented as can be because times change and so do people and situations

Being Arab is not an ethnic identity, it is a cultural identity and an umbrella that unifies a group of people who share a common history together. Whether berber of african or kanaanite or egyptian, the arab identity does not replace any ancestral identity. Enough with calls for division, brown people of the world should unite instead of wasting time focusing on superficial differences. Ignorance is our common enemy.
