Yeah like on paper their team is decent but the specific matchup was awful. They didn't play well either really. Porygon was a very important piece of their team and they gave it up for nothing really. Not sure what they could've done different though looking back on it.
Yeah turn 1 they could’ve switched Rhyperior into Knock Off and preserved P2 for later, even if it had to take poison damage later. Also, a lot of freezai’s team is much faster than the opponent’s with match of his team well above 200 while none of theirs outside of Deo-Speed, which is mediocre in Randbats, was even reaching that, so it was already difficult from the get-go
Yeah, Hoop also had nasty plot and then it would be choice locked into sucker, sucker only has 8 pp. not sure if they had anything to out-speed hoop after that. It was a gamble.
i don't have time to watch the whole vid rn but that first set was well done freeze, you did get a little lucky in game 2 but you also outplayed a rough matchup with good decision making. after watching the whole thing you were insane, ggs

And for some reason i got flinched by an iron head too there in an important moment + Got froze by ice beam btw and something close happened with Xamork before playing freezai (which was probably the hardest one to lose).
Congratulations on wining the tournament. I’m still trying to learn and get better random battles is what i play the most and my highest rank was like 1743 points. I dropped down to like 1650 but what I don’t understand is game one you made a lot of weaker plays trying to predict and play around your opponent in ways that didn’t pay off but you still had only lost 1 Pokemon and they lost 3 if you played more aggressively you would have won sooner and lost less Pokemon overall & last question is why in game two you was so worried and played around a non stan volt switch lol 😂 I don’t think that move if it had it was that threatening but great playing and speaking to explain your thought process and what was going on. I feel like game 1 & 2 you was just a way better player so even with all the mistakes you made you still won but if that was a better player you went up against those misplays/many wrong predictions probably would’ve have cost you the game. I know switch ins and predicting what the opponent might do is a big part of competitive Pokémon. But I’m still trying to learn how to be good enough to get over 1800 points or higher then 2000 points probably even making it in the top 100 so any answers to my questions or tips is appreciated ❤

No, they’re scaled to a Pokémon’s strength. Shitty pokemon (sunflora) are higher levels while good pokemon (arceus) are lower levels.
