I really hope people are paying attention to you. I started sharing video on Vimeo back in 2015, and after 4 years I realized I was never going to reach anyone. Vimeo is invisible to Google and most other search engines, and Vimeo is not set up to search for video. Nor is the marketing of Vimeo truthful. Vimeo sells itself as being a place for higher-quality content as well as offering a supportive environment where one can get creative input and encouragement. In truth, although videographers on Vimeo have generally better gear, they aren't especially talented. I've watched a lot of community-theater acting on Vimeo, stories ripped off from actual movies, and unimpressive CGI nonsense. I've also noticed that the more serious filmmakers are establishing TH-cam channels, where they can have the feedback and the community exchanges that Vimeo can't offer. When I used to tell people about my work, they would say, "Oh, do you have a TH-cam channel?" I would say, "No, I'm on Vimeo." And they would say, "What's that?" Even today, most people have never heard of Vimeo. There are so few reasons to use Vimeo, I recommend avoiding it.
I hope folks are paying attention too. Lots of videographers suggest their clients put videos on Vimeo. It is really great for some things, but often not what the client is looking for. Glad you've switched to TH-cam!
I'm not sure what you mean by saturated, but you could try Tik Tok. I still like TH-cam better. It's been around for 15 years and I'm always finding something new and helpful.

For that reason I'm attracted to Vimeo and also for their CTA features. I don't know why I would not use both platforms. However, I'm wondering if the CTA feature works once the same video is uploaded to TH-cam. Please share your advise.
Teresa - welcome to the world of video. First some terms: Vimeo and TH-cam are hosts - places you upload your video to so that you can share them. Editors allow you to change the content of your videos, usually before you upload them (TH-cam has a very basic built-in editor.) The CTA feature only works on Vimeo. If you upload to TH-cam, you have different options called End Screens. These are much more limited. I think of TH-cam as a place for people to find you and Vimeo as a place for people who know you to watch your videos. Vimeo is far superior when it comes to locking down your videos so that people have to pay for them. That's not really possible on TH-cam. I hope that answered your questions.

The only thing I’ve read is that if you use more than 99% of other users, then they will talk to you about options. So unless your videos are extremely popular, you should be good.

The problem with TH-cam is it is saturated, there is nothing different it's all the same, is there any other video platforms that isn't saturated
I'm not sure what you mean by saturated, but you could try Tik Tok. I still like TH-cam better. It's been around for 15 years and I'm always finding something new and helpful.

Technically, businesses are supposed to use a paid account, but lots of businesses just use the free one. Especially for just one short video.
