You actually made a small mistake with Yoshi and DJC. To perform a Rising Aerial you have to hold down the jump button and not the attack button. And for those who didnt know yet, Double Jump Cancel also works for Ness.

Jump cancel it like you would shine out of shield, dont just drop shield. I'll show you later, but you can jc rising falcon oos and it comes out very fast and sets up for a Rar Bair. Its legit
I figured that Lloyd one myself, but I still couldn't find a situation to use it well. It's so slow and predictable compared to falcon's down b it feels like I'm asking to be gimped/dunked while using this.
Jigglypuff can extend the distance of her grounded pound if she uses it right as she lands. It's called pound gliding which can be used to catch the opponent off guard and extend combos a bit more.
as pacman, if you jump on your trampoline and do your side b at the same time, you active pacman's "crazy pellet". It doesnt have the same applications as ssb4, but it lets you do angles pacman cant do otherwise
Naruto: Not sure if anyone found this yet. If you full hop then immediately use down b, then land with a rasengan, the rasengan isn't stationary anymore. Pretty situational tho
With Soras flowmotion, you can press a direction input to do a different attack. If you do Side Special, press down, then down Special (when on fire) near the edge, it's a very good launching move.
I'm pretty sure this is well known but you can multi-shine in this game as fox and falco. As a fox main turned falco main, I can say this can be incredibly useful in some situations when your opponent is against the wall or if your opponent has large hit boxes. But most importantly is a great move to taunt people with.
Another Tip: As Ness, you can actually set a double pk thunder. Here's how it works: slide (or just walk, but dont jump) out of the stage and just right before you start falling, do a pk thunder. Then, you gotta hit the stage or another player with the pk thunder's "head". By doing so, even if you have already done a pk thunder while mid air, you can do another pk thunder. This is very useful for recover, reverse edge guarding or safely grabbing the edge.
Here's something interesting. Characters can throw items out of their roll's invincibility frames. Since items are disabled in competitive 1v1 matches though, the only characters that can benefit from that ae Peach, Link and Sandbag. Sandbag's roll is also better if he's holding an item.
*Here's also an interesting tip on Tails:* While dashing with Tails, if you suddenly hold the dash and do the up B without jumping, Tails will instantly launch himself sliding while doing the attack. It's a great way to catch your opponents off guard, while trying to knock them away from you.
i have a good donkey kong tip: down-b has almost no startup lagg or endlagg while doing te move making it a really good combo tool when your opponent has a good ground game. from my experience with the smash games this is the only one where you can cancel dk's down-b so if you found this comment and are interrested in checking it out, sure do and have fun with dk's new potential for combo's
I actually have a really cool kill setup technique for Kirby: If your opponent is close enough to a ledge, when performing a dash grab as Kirby and immediately performing an up-throw, if Kirby has enough momentum, he'll actually dive of the stage with his opponent into that bottom blast zone. So it's more of a suicide move, but it's appearance is note-worthy.
Could you do a Lloyd, or Sora guide? I haven't played SSF2 since like, January and I'd love to see your take and input on how to work with and play either one. I'm still currently a Lloyd main, so getting a refresher would be awesome! Awesome content, keep up the great work!
I know you've covered it on your channel but sandbag can do an extra jump by using down-B! He can also wave dash using down B, by holding s and a (or d) and then press o! (This is assuming you have the default setup)

Use Down Special with Rayman,and you stay on the plum,and then,do Down Attack (In ground,but on the plum) The plum will go up,it's an infinite recovery
I got a tip for Jigglypuff (1.2): Are you a Jiggs main and love using Rest, but are tired of the end lag? Try the technique I like to call the Lagless Rest. As Jiggs, use Rest just as someone else attacks you. The other player will get hit by the Rest, and Jiggs will be in her hurt animation. Jiggs will be able to react instantly once the hurt frames are over! Pretty neat tech if you ask me.
Here's another tip for bomberman: If you throw the bomb up, then kick it while it's coming down, it can go way farther than just kicking the bomb on the floor. However, it does require some timing, so it can be difficult to do consistently.
A better tip for Sandbag: Using Up b gives you back your down b, so you can alternate using Down b Upwards and Up B, minimizing damageAlso, he has a dash Dance which can be performed by dashing, turning backwards, and then quickly turning forwards again.
for those people unsatisfied with the marth tip heres another tip to take home. Tipper fair actually combos into a tipper dair (also know as the ken combo) the percent range is around 40-70 its weird because dairs tipper in this game is quite small so it wont combo all the time (im hoping for a buff to marths tipper dair range for this reason) but it is possible and i believe that this is something all marths should know.
fun fact: if you fair twice as fast as you can out of a shorthop you will do the wavedash AND the wavedash will have a hitbox, letting you do some real cool shit
This tip is crucial for Ichigo. If he is launched into the air, you can use the neutral B attack to float. As he is falling, input left or right depending on where you need to go, do neutral B and you float sideways while charging the attack
i got two tips one for link one for tails,Link:if you throw a bomb up and time it with your recovery and get damaged you can recovery again.Tails:when you throw your robot throw it right or left,then grab your opponents and chuck it right at the bot and it will catch it and explode
Sandbag's forward tilt/dash attack changes to an entirely different attack when holding a bat or beam sword. He spins the item in place, poking shields at any health, with a decent multiple-hit move that does nice knockback and damage.
for the LUFFY tip: I find that its hard to do it while luffy is falling opposite of the stage because it wont connect at all so I find b neutral + up b (while holidng the direction where the stage is) more connected and also do this instantly. Imagine ur on final destination left side and u jumped out of the stage, do neutral b (with accuracy training of neutral b) and instantly do up b and also instantly click right (direction where the stage is, also I use keyboard so I dont know if other controllers have this problem).
This may be common knowledge but charging for kaioken is a great vertical recovery. And another tip: If you use up special and hit on both beginning and end, you can use the up special again. In or out kaioken
Sonic tip: Side B is too predictable, so if somebody prepares an attack for it and you already used Side B, angle your Side B up and hope for the best. Luigi tip: Use your down taunt at a ledge with a good timing for an instant kill. Sandbag tip: Might not be useful, but you can use your Down B on the ground and then quickly go to the sides to get extra ground recovery. Side taunt could also probably be used for this.
extra tip for bandanna dee i discovered: if time get a direct hit with a spear toss when your opponent is on the ground, the spear will actually pin them leaving them open for attacks
cool combo with C.Falcon -grab down throw jump as fast as you can, then knee. PAC man- put the trampoline close to the edge and backthrow when its red.XD

Bandanna Dee's Dash attack can be combo into an aerial mixing kirby's property of his taunt with taunt canceling, you can get right back into action with using it
What i like about this game is theres quite a bit of chain grab capable characters. I love the combo games more than the tech games, though i still do tech.
With Link, you can just pick up the bomb and use your special and it will still make a bomb arrow, no throwing required (sorry if you already knew this)
Naruto can combo just about anything from his dash attack, even at high percents. Also his up special has a secondary attack, just press the special button again mid up special.
also naruto kinda does wut balck mage does, if u start to charge up the rasengan then press left or right to teleport (substitution jutsu if u watch the anime) , he keeps charging the rasengan from where he left off also link can do the bomb arrow thing without throwing it, just get a bomb and use the bow and it should work
It's a great video, but Flowdash forces you to crouch, which makes it a lot less effective as a movement option. I'd have gone with flowcancel for this. Also worth mentioning is that you can just shoot the Bomb on an arrow by charging and releasing his neutral b

if u use ichigos wavedash and then down smash near a ledge you can end up using the down smash in midair while falling very quickly but you cant recover from it if it ends offstage
goku's down special can help him go farther so you hold down your second jump then do down special a couple times until you get slow and then up special
does that mean all items will have to be deactivated even when items are off in a tournament setting? I feel like there should be a unified ruleset regarding that. Personally, I think they should stay off, but I haven't played in a month and a half

Starlight Also works with Star rod and beam rod (beam rod is pretty op)

One trick that I use with bandana dee is using up special next to them and trying to do it multiple times to throw them offstage

Megaman Down taunt have some invencibity frames, so works like a dodge! (but still easy to punish...)

you should've mentioned that Kirby can Kirbycide using his forward or back throws. That's a trick far less known than the copy ability discard

Here is a second DK up B trick. If you mash B while he is spinning, you will rise slightly faster
