I love your videos and been watching for a while but people were just calling you out for not being careful. If you got offended by it then its something you brought upon yourself and should've addressed it and taken accountability for it. I got sick with covid in July, truthfully the only reason I can think of why I got it is from having contact with a customer that didn't care for Covid. I suffered the consequences for an irresponsible person. Just because people are calling you out doesn't mean they are hating on you.. telling someone to take Covid serious isn't mean or hateful.
I understand receiving hate is not a fun thing. However, let’s not forget people were not hating on your last vlog. People were calling you out for acting like nothing was happening, as if we were not in a worldwide pandemic and people were not dying every single day. It’s so easy to label things as “hate” and not own up to your mistakes. So as much as it is uncomfortable please don’t confuse the two.

People are dying every day of the flu, car accidents, mosquito bites, pneumonia... should we change our lives for all that too then?

Honestly, maybe some people were being hateful in the comments of the last video. But coming from someone who knows people personally who have suffered with COVID, and/or died from it and has a parent who is an ER and Palliative care nurse, I think people were more confused/disappointed that you appeared to be acting as though everything has gone back to normal. Things have certainly not gone back to normal and I’m pretty sure they never will. Just keep in mind that we don’t see what you post outside of social media or what these videos look like before they’re edited. We don’t know that you’re taking precautions or staying safe, unless you show it. 🤷🏾♀️

Jeanine, I have watched you for such a long time. Keep doing what you’re doing girl, God has an anointing over you. It’s easy to get discouraged but remember who you are. God is with you, He is for you! I love your Dallas vlogs so that’s awesome you’re reconsidering moving back.

girl, no one is assuming the worst about you - those critical comments were just trying to get you to see how your actions were coming off from a different perspective. if you don't want people to comment on your life, simply don't post it online. everyone is grieving a sense of community like you mentioned, but in tough times like these we all have to adjust our lifestyles even when it's hard.

Been watching your vlogs since 2017. I think a lot of the comments were criticism, which is different than hate. You didn’t attempt to add a Covid disclaimer in your content since you chose to not socially distance or wear masks - which you are free to do. However, you have a lot of responsibility as an influencer (of young people especially) and shouldn’t have been influencing people to be irresponsible. Best of luck to you ❤️

Girl, I LOVE you and your videos, but there is a major difference between hate and people calling you out for your wrongful actions. We are still in the middle of a pandemic and even though other places are opening up it does not mean that you should go out and hang out with a bunch of people while not taking proper safety precautions such as wearing a mask and staying 6 feet apart. It is evident that you do not understand the severity of your actions. There are so many healthcare workers, teachers, public service people, etc. that are risking their lives. Meanwhile, you are going out with different friends every other weekend living your best life as if COVID no longer exists. I understand missing people and wanting to be around loved ones, but there is a safe way to do so. With all respect, you are showing your privilege. You might be able to afford COVID tests and perhaps you can afford the health care visits that would come your way if you were to ever contract the virus, but others are not in the same situation as you are. I pray that you find guidance and acknowledge your wrongful actions.

Jeanine you are an amazing human being down to your core. I think that people jumped at the first chance they had to find something "wrong" with you to make them feel better about themselves. Every human being in this world makes mistakes, we're not perfect in any way shape or form and I think thats what makes us genuinely amazing to be honest. People are so quick to criticize and judge others, rather than look inward. I love you and please remember that the only opinion that truly matters in this world at the end of the day, is your opinion of yourself. Keep inspiring :)

Amaly Roman the one posted before this one. She threw a party for her friend and also got back from texas without isolating. The comments were full of negativity. She has since apologized and seems like shes more careful now so I think all is well :)

It does matter how you receive this criticism because I think folks are just asking you to be more aware, not necessarily straight hating. The only thing you should make about you is the fact that your actions showed your privilege. How many folks did you interact with recently who have an essential job and had to take the risk and trust that someone like you in an airport, on a plane, at a restaurant etc was valuing their life and the lives of their loved ones at home just so you could do x,y or z? This is an exhausting time for all of us, let's do good and be considerate, I have to believe you have the heart for it. The comments remain valid regardless of what spin you're clearly believing. Covid may not affect you personally yet but 200k people are dead in this country. For you to be dismissive of that is really concerning. If you can learn from this instead of internalizing it as irrational hatred, that'd be great. I truly wish you well and am excited for Texas house content.

3) I’m glad your posting again! It’s good to see your vlogs again. I did unsubscribe from your main channel because you are a role model to a lot of people. During the pandemic you did upload parties on your story and hanging out with your friends! I think just holding yourself accountable is important. It’s nothing more. No one can actually cancel you. No one has that power! But if you are looking for a place to grow I would say just think outside the box. You are in a privileged position and by having that position you will be held accountable for your actions!

Just because texas is open doesn't mean that it is the best route of action. If texas is open, it also doesn't mean that you act like every other state should be open just like texas. This also kind of feels like emotional blackmailing when you say that someone is not a true follower because they cautioned you against traveling and being careless during a pandemic AND promoting it via your vlogs.
Can you please cut all this overassumptions. She is a human and young person. Give her time to grow. I love her vlogs and would like to follow her. You dont like what she says? Then find another perfect huma beings and watch their vlog.

For those saying cut her some slack, she's young, she's growing, etc. Thats perfect, take this as a teachable moment and don't misconstrue it as hate. We love to see growth and maturity, but that comes with taking ownership of decisions and being accountable for your actions.

I've lived in Hawaii my whole life, I'm 27 and always dreamed of moving to Texas. Recently the tug of going to Texas has been so heavy and strong. Definitely gonna keep praying about it, if it's God's will i know He will open those doors.

I've unsubscribed right at the beginning of the pandemic, even before people in the US started caring about it, because I was seeing basically ALL American TH-camrs acting like covid was nothing, while people in my country were dying. I unsubscribed because I hate giving hate to people and the situation was already bad, i was trying to focus on positivity. I was locked inside my house, lockdown was being done PROPERLY by my fellow Italians. I felt really hurt by the general attitude toward this virus, but now we're doing better than almost anyone. But now, I'm EXTREMELY pleased to see you taking accountability for your actions , in the comment section too. You are the ONLY TH-camr who did that. The friggin only one. This is why I'm so happy to subscribe again. As many people said in the comments, it's not HATE, it's trying to make you understand some big mistakes you made. Happy to be back on your channel girl!!
I'm glad you're back! And yes, those comments in the previous vlog video were brutal. Many of them were out of concern but, let's face it, you can tell by the tone of some of those comments that those people got off on being on their high horses.

Based on the comments and your replies I def think you understand what is being said, so I won't focus on that but instead I wanted to share some things (which you may or may not receive) laid on my heart: The main point being, as you ask us to forgive also go to the Father, learn from this and act accordingly but do not DWELL in it. I missed your vlogs! But I think you are confusing calling you out on something you did to 'hate' . I know 13 people in my friends and family who have died due to this pandemic. While yes it's hard to be alone but I haven't gone out or seen my parents or elders since March. I wear a mask and do social distancing because it's not for me it's for other people who don't have a strong immune system or the money to battle it. 200k people have DIED in US alone! I love you and your content and having been following you for the past five years and I think you are an awesome person and whenever you messed up you would always apologize and that's what I loved about you. It's not hate. It's constructive criticism. It has been extremely frustrating to see how selfish influencers have been during this pandemic. You have an influence on your audience and seeing you not caring about the pandemic because you miss your friends or family is extremely disappointing. Every time you go out with a bunch of different people you are putting someone's life at risk. I really don't understand how that's a difficult concept to grasp for influencers. Many people have lost loved ones because of this virus and influencers going around like nothing is happening makes you look so out of touch.
It’s not nice to assume someone is selfish and that they don’t care about others. That is a very drastic assumption. How unkind. It’s like you see only black or white. Why don’t you assume the best of people?

By doing that you are proving you don't care about others since you are putting other's lives at risk just because you want to hang out with your friends. That's pretty selfish in my opinion.

Hi Jeanine, this has been a difficult time for all of us and I think people are immensely anxious and it’s easy to take it out on people with public lives on social media. (I’m not defending the people who are leaving mean comments, that’s not ok!) I think people are hurting, some have lost loved ones and it’s easier to take some anger out on someone on the Internet... ultimately you should do what you’re comfortable with and follow your state / local guidelines best you can.
