I love my new Prodigee Safety Flow and Mag clear case. I don’t think many know about them. Serious drop protection also, I think 2M. Sticky sides for good grip
Looks like the official crystal case is the only one premium case that allows you to plug in a USB-C pendrive without extension on the Type-C connector of the drive. The drives with extended USB-C connector (like SanDisk and Silicon Power) are too slow to record video directly onto them. The Samsung MUF256DA/AM is fast enough, but got a short C connector, works only caseless or with this type of case.
I'm currently using the Pelican clear case, it's not bad but I'd love to see you do a review including the magbak cases.
Caudabe has to be on the list for the next one. They have the only clear case that doesn’t yellow. I know this because I’m a year in and it’s just as crystal clear as day one it came out of the box.
Is it hard case, soft case or hybrid?
I have the speck presidio clear mag safe and the spigen ultra hybrid. The speck case is awful it scratched up so bad within the first couple days I contacted speck and they sent me a new one. The spigen case has held up way better so far and has been my go to

there is a frosted back version in spigen which i have right now, smudge problem no more
But what about charge speed? How much is it reduced by the case compared to magsafe charging without case?
The UAG Plyo with magsafe would have been the perfect clear case for me if it wasn't for the deep cutout for the action button.
Love clear cases. Can’t stand sticky silicone cases, hard to push into pocket, pulls your pocket inside out when taking out!
I had a silicone case I bought in November. It’s no longer with us. Lasted less than 4 months 😂

Thank for this video!! Have you or anyone else here ever used the Totalee brand MagSafe clear case? I wanted the thinnest MagSafe clear case I could get and I’m waiting on that and my iPhone and now I’m nervous lol, I guess I could return it
No I havent, but I've actually been interested for quite sometime to do a review on some thin cases and I'd definitely check that brand out to see what they are like once I do a video on it!
I’ve always heard Rhinoshield clear cases have some of the strongest magnets, not to mention the custom options & they don’t yellow “supposedly”

@@Daren6111 MagSafe is fine. But yeah it scratches easier than any case I’ve ever seen in my life. They recently sent out an email that an updated case will be sent out next year for free to everyone who bought a ghost. It’s a nice case but I feel like $50 is a rip off.

Hey everyone! Does anyone know of a clear case with MagSafe that covers every single port?including charging port & the silent button for a iPhone 14 Pro Max,I’ve tried the i blason aresmag & it cracked when I took the phone out of the cover!thanks in advance
I personally wouldn’t recommend ESR clear cases because I used them for my iphone 14 and iphone 14 pro max and they already turned yellowish after 2 months.

Yeah there’s a ton of brands I could’ve added and I was considering those for this video but I’m definitely thinking about making a second video on clear cases. The next one would definitely be on iPhone 15 cases with the brands you guys mentioned😏

What about yellowing? That’s a big factor not covered in your reviews.
I keep hearing about the castify. What do you think of that one?
So I’m not huge on casetify considering they are overpriced and perform just as fine as lower priced cases out there. I’d only recommend them if you’re looking to find the best customized case cause they have a lot of customized case options compared to other brands out there but aside from that not, I’m not that big on them, however that’s just my opinion.
I’m using a Walmart brand clear case that cost 7$ and doesn’t have mag safe and imo it’s just as good as these if you don’t use mag safe.
Surprised didn’t have tech21 They are very good cases more expensive then all these ones
Why no Tech21 and Ghostek? They constantly get ignored and make gorgeous cases as well.

The Apple case supports scratches well?
Nope, it doesn’t. I’m actually planning on dropping a video some time later this year on more clear cases and I’ll point out how these held up in this video from day to day use. Apples is personally my least favorite as you can tell from watching my review and it gets a good amount of scuffs and scratches over time.

The Mous new release is anti smudge and yellowing. AND anti scratch. There's a vid from Mous where their manager mentioned the tech behind it and how it exceeds every clear case

Good question. So the hardest case is Apple’s clear case and right after that one it’s the Speck case. Then it’s a toss up between the ESR and Spigen case and the softest would be phone rebel but it’s certainly the most protective and still really durable.
The question is which one does not turn yellow
Apple is probably the best one imo

Haven’t tested that out but the phone rebel case would probably be the best cause it has the strongest magnetic ring on the back 👍. However if you’re looking for the best case for that magbak and rokform are the best out there. Check out my strongest iPhone magsafe review if you want to see those in action.

Got my wife the spigen for her base 15. Magnet is strong af when using the official apple magsafe charger. I don't have any to compare it to but I wouldn't want a stronger magnet than that. I have to hold the base of the charging stand to remove the phone or else the stand comes with it lol.

My real concern about clear cases is they turn yellow in about 3 months and that makes them useless. Do these cases also suffer from that issue?
Yup, I’m already noticing some of them starting to get slightly yellow. Once Dbrand comes out with a less scratch resistant clear Ghost Case I’ll do a review on that and point out all the ones that have yellowed from this review. This is definitely one of the main reasons I usually don’t use clear cases as well.

Looks like Magbak isn’t changing things up on their clear case for the iPhone 15 since reviewing it last time, but if I were to include it in this video it would be up there with Phone Rebel and ESR. It’s a good case, if you want more details on their clear case I did review it in my strongest iPhone magsafe case video.

What about anti yellowing?
So alot of these brands will say that their case won’t yellow but realistically no clear case will be completely immune to yellowing if it’s exposed to a good amount of sunlight and heat over its time as a case. I’m certain most of these will yellow. My spigen and Apple clear cases always yellowed when I had them in the past on my iPhone but time will tell with all others that I reviewed.
Flossy Carter swears by Casetify clear cases not yellowing.
@@T3CHUP i see, now phone rebel gen 5 is out i wonder how it compares to gen 4. Some case company mention anti yellowing but when you buy them they start getting yellow on the sides

Which one is scratch resistant?
So I didn’t test out the scratch resistant of these cases in this video but from owning plenty of clear iPhone cases in the past none of them are really scratch resistant over time. They’ll scratch or get a good amount of scuff marks. I don’t trust any brand saying that a clear case will be scratch resistant. The speck case in this video easily scuffed up in a few days and so did the Apple clear case. Phone rebel and the ESR are still holding up better without any marks or scratches.
@@T3CHUPwould you recommend spigen or speck? I usually get speck because of the anti yellowing guarantee and 13 foot drop protection but it scratches up very easily
@@MigoDevin I’ve primarily been a spigen iPhone case user. They hold up pretty well and I think I would still take them over Speck as yes the Speck clear case scratches up a lot more easily compared to the Spigen case or any of the other clear cases I tried. However Phone Rebel would be the best clear case to go with out of all of these 👍
The ESR is Frosted Black while not clear offers a good compromise of durability and scratch resistance. Frosted back clear cases hold up much longer in my experience.

I wouldn’t recommend a mous clear case, for $50-$60 they yellow terribly within the first two months, so might as well get something 3 times cheaper.
I should had watched vid first. Just got Apple clear because my ip15 pro max just delivered and the Apple clear is the worst. Slippery, not tight fit, and skin oily magnet!
Yup, besides it being clear and you being able to see your nice iPhone as well as the ease of putting it in and pulling it out of your pocket there are more cons than pros in my opinion.
You'll need a case to protect your cases lol

Absolutely wrong he says that the phone rebel was the best and that’s pure trash as it turns yellow fairly quickly unlike the iPhone original which to this day is still clear
