I will be fixing the audio from the bike ride so there's not so much wind noise on the next video. Any feedback is appreciated thanks for checking out the video❤
i saw in one of your comments you lowered it by 3 im getting the same bike and year as you would you recommend start off on 1 inch or 3 cause im about 5'7ish and the guy selling it to me is my height and says he can kinda put toes on the ground
I'd start on 1 inch. Also, another thing to note is the more you weigh, the lower the bike sits as well. Me being 120lbs, the suspension doesn't go down at all😂. So if your a decent human that weighs more you might not have to even lower at all😂
@@illusiversx nice im id def will try one inch how have those links held up they just seemed too good to be true on that price when i saw them compared to other places charged 3x the amount
They hold up fine. The other links should be all around the same price. The only one that was more expensive was the fully adjustable one which I don't recommend. I did not lower the front but everyone recommends too. Didn't affect my handling or looks in any way
Great video I am 5.5 and I have to lower all my motorcycle. Always lower the front as much as the rear to keep the factory geometry. The company spend millions to design and egineer these rockets so keep it the same. Also PLEASE PLEASE wear your gears every time you ride little brother. Most accident happen not far from your house believe it or not. Ride safely.
Appreciate the insight man! Bikes been 3 inch lowered in the rear for about 5 months now and personally hasnt effected handling in my experience. Since my first couple months on the cbr ive spent a lot of money on gear now. I was really dumb back then.
@@illusiversx As much as the pant in the seat feeling that it doesn't affect handling. Believe me it does. It's no different from changing the rake of any bike or motorcycle. Especially, brake, on a motorcycle braking power 75-90% comes from the front. Trust me you have not been caught in a situation where the you need the front brake to come into play the most then you'll find out. Don't take it from me ask around do some research. Any changes will affect it.
I am 5 foot 6 inches. (5 foot 7 inches on a good day). Before I even lowered it 1 inch I had a real hard time moving the bike when it was stationary (actually couldn't move it at all). The 1 inch lower really improved moving it from a stand still as well as how comfortable I am at stop lights. I recently just committed to the full 3 inch drop and I've loved it ever since. Only thing you have to watch for is make sure your clutch, throttle and front brake lines are all routed appropriately so that they don't rub after its lowered. I had a problem with mine making noise and rubbing mainly because my lines were extended by the previous owner to fit the pro tapper bars on.
I’m 5’4 and I want a cbr600 but do you guys think it’s a good starter bike ? And it will be lowered by the way And question do you struggle with your bike lowered still and how long have you been riding ?
0 struggles. Especially for a beginner you will notice no difference unless it's lowered something ridiculous like 8 inches. A simple lower improves way more Especially for a beginner that's short than any other mod. That's how it was for me, I instantly became more confident and a better rider

Whoever put them bars on committed a henious act of criminality

How tall are u? I just recently bought a 2003 cbr600 and I am considering to lower it by 3 inches

@@illusiversxcan you flat foot after lowering it 3 inches ? Very good vid bro
@@ElNemo22 flat foot no. It's as close as I'll get without the bike touching the ground.
How the bars handle
I have nothing to compare them too as I've never riden with the stock clip ons but I have no problem maneuvering around
I am 5’3 I did the same I have to lower it so I can ride mine

don't be a squid..wear some gear bro
Trust me I know... I really am amazed I didn't wear gear when I started riding. 1 year in and never ride without full gear now.
@@illusiversx good to hear, keep that flesh fully intact 😁
Gear is for pussies, I never wear a helmet and only half of the skin on my body is missing, still have the other half 💪
Wtf are those handle bars smh
Ik I changed them over. I didn't like them much at all
@@illusiversx u made a good choice
Good info but hold up on the swearing. It detracts from what you're trying to say.
