- During the second day of "Corse Clienti" program organized by Ferrari at the Mugello circuit, I had the pleasure of seeing and filming in action some beautiful single-seater like the F2001 (ex Barrichello), the F2008 (ex Raikkonen), the F2013 & F150th (ex Alonso). Despite the V6 engines sound currently used in the world championship getting better, I confess the immense lack of V8 & V10 engines! The video focused only to start-up and revvings want to be a tribute to the past F1 seasons, where you can't stay there, so close, without earplugs! Enjoy the video 😉
Sulla pista del Mugello, nella seconda giornata "Corse Clienti " organizzata dalla Ferrari, ho avuto il piacere di vedere e filmare in azione alcune splendide monoposto F1 come la F2001 ex Barrichello, la F2008 ex Raikkonen, la F2013 e la F150th ex Alonso. Nonostante mi stia abituando al suono dei V6 attualmente impiegati nel campionato del mondo, non posso che confessare l'immensa mancanza di questi motori che suonavano una meraviglia! Il video, composto da sole accensioni, vuole essere un tributo alle monoposto delle passate stagioni, dove, senza tappi alle orecchie, così vicino, si rischiava davvero di diventar sordi! Buon ascolto 😉

I loved V10's and traction control. The sound was unreal, static. Miss those engines.

I don't miss TC (still sorta there through regressive throttle maps btw) but I miss anything that used to run 20,000 rpm.. Wheter it's about a 50cc motorbike or a 3 liter Formula One.
V10s are sweet I got to see them and hear them live.
But I wish I got to hear the 20,000 RPM V8 with blown diffusers... That has to be the craziest sounding engine to hear live. 🤙

hahaha, well, at the Modena racetrack, in Italy it has already happened a few times. There are some lucky owners who have private F1 and when they come, during the track day, they have reserved one or two 30 minute shifts just for them😉
That's just about one of the coolest things I can imagine.
Oh yes, of course, it's something spectacular because there's nothing better than coming to a track day with your own F1 😂💪

Love the V10s but i have to give the best sounding to the renault v8 from 2011 with the blown diffuser.
You need to get them engines warm QUICK before they start wearing themselves to bits because of the extremely high tolerances

V12 or flat 12 is the only way to go. These are naturally balanced engines.

Liked, F1 should have made diverse engines from the beginning and not just one type of engine per season but V6 V8 V8 and V12 like it was in the 90s and in car racing, what's the problem?!?!
Sorry, but the very first car is not an ex Barrichello car. The second car is a ex Barrichello, but not the first.
On the nose of the first car we can see the "1", and on the side under the Name Cianciulli is the name of
the ex driver: Schumacher.

An F1 exhaust system is made solely for the performance of the car and nothing else.

Senza adesivi dei tabaccai le trovo ancora più belle.
E mi ha sorpreso la V10 tenere il minimo a 3300 giri al minuto circa , in modo piuttosto regolare. Ricordo un intervista di Kubica non molto tempo fa che riferendosi ai V8 , diceva di un minimo a 5600 g/m.

It's a metal sheet that is positioned to protect the mechanic who starts the engine. During the ignition phase, unexpected flames can come out (I saw them with my own eyes, especially the F1 cars of the 80s and 90s) but splashes of oil or petrol. When the vehicle is turned on, the operator moves away, and the panel is usually removed.
