  • The longest zip wire in Europe is located in the Snowdonia National Park in Wales. It is around 1750 metres long and visitors can travel at speeds of up to 100 kilometres per hour. Highflying thrill-seekers can get harnessed and soar over Welsh mountains.

    I went on this last year as can be seen on my TH-cam channel. It's changed a lot since this video as the launch areas are now covered and there are four zip-lines instead of two so more people use it at the same time. There's a lovely restaurant there now too. I'd love to go again and I recommend it to everyone.

    Just did this and OMFG - what a rush!! It doesn't feel as if you are going that fast.. once you go over the cliff WOW!!!

    £50 a go, not what i call good value, but thousands of visitors seem to be willing to pay that much for only four minutes of fun.
    £50 is better spent on a weekend away somewhere interesting, not in a dreary disused Slatequarry in upper Bethesda.
