Yes, it is a mental illness because you’d have to be mentally ill if children sexually attract you. But, I’m not so sure on the forgiveness side in this particular type of situation. Chris Hansen did have a warrant out for his arrest early in July. He turned himself in, the warrant was for him missing a court date. Upon reading further Hansen had footage of nefarious acts taking place and the defense needed the footage. Hansen has said, "There was miscommunication about a hearing today on the issue. Hansen was given a subpoena to his Michigan house and didn’t know (because he stays in New York) until the day before. He was simply supposed to provide raw footage of a sting he did. He just didn’t have his things together. It’s a civil issue

From what I understand Chris was doing a documentary on Onision, and Onision tried to take him to court but the wrong Chris Hansen was served. So Chris Hansen didn’t show up in court because he didn’t know about it. (This is what I sort of remember, but I’m not 100% sure) Edit: I just read that before that, he had failed to show up to court at one point to be a witness against 3 predators.
You can't be arrested for not showing up to a court date that didn't technically have your name on it. That's an error on either Onision's or the court's end depending on how you look at it.

However, I must disagree. Yes, it is a mental illness because you’d have to be mentally ill if children sexually attract you. But, I’m not so sure on the forgiveness side in this particular type of situation. It is a very sick thing to do and can destroy someone’s life from a very early age, robbing their innocence and joy from them. I just can’t see myself forgiving something like that. As for Ken and Buff being ‘too mean’, I’d also have to disagree. These predators were caught in the act of trying to prey upon children. Yes they’re actors, but the predators don’t know this until after-the-fact. They initially tend to think they’re chatting with barely teenagers, and go through with meeting in person.
So although I respect your thoughts on this and am so glad you’ve found a way to begin healing, I do have to, as respectfully as possible, disagree with those statements.

Yeah....I dont know any kids that age that use the term. Some teenage girls might use it with their mom. My son is 9 and has already abandoned "daddy" for dad. He still flip flops between mom and mommy but I imagine he will be giving mommy up soon. My daughter is 8 and still calls us both mommy and daddy. So I think it just depends on the kid.....but I dont know any kid after the age of 12 who refers to their parents as mommy and daddy when they are talking to people.

Chris Hansen did have a warrant out for his arrest early in July. He turned himself in, the warrant was for him missing a court date. Upon reading further Hansen had footage of nefarious acts taking place and the defense needed the footage. Hansen has said, "There was miscommunication about a hearing today on the issue. The matter is currently being resolved"
yea as far as i have red he wasnt informed propperly of when the hearing was and the issue took less than 40 min to clear up

He had been doing his normal stuff helping lawn enforcement against pedos and had evidence he needed to show in court but didnt get the right time for the court.

Hansen was given a subpoena to his Michigan house and didn’t know (because he stays in New York) until the day before. He was simply supposed to provide raw footage of a sting he did. He just didn’t have his things together. It’s a civil issue
