Update: The Toshi/Marni event quest claims that the term "shot" comes from trading bullets for whiskey in the old wild west. IT DOES NOT, that is an urban myth and completely made up, the term was in use as early as the 1500s in Europe. It referred originally to a part of the bill or tab that needed to be paid, and then later in the 1600s and 1700s, came to mean a portion of alcohol. It wasnt until the 1920s that it actually referred to a specific amount of alcohol. And dont even get me started on how you would NEVER trade a bullet for a shot of whiskey in the wild west because they weren't worth the same amount at all. Another case of the writers not bothering to do a google search and/or talking to an actual historian.

Oh I love roasting lazy, badly done character designs that are just there to cater to fanservice.

The costume is so cliched, it feels lazy. But then again, maybe it's a secret plot to sell more costumes in the cash shop!

They say that at least 1 out of every 3 cowboys was Native American or Black. I think this is something that is often ignored in popular culture, although it is very interesting.
By the way, do you know the story of Bass Reeves (he was a badass!)?

      @
I know that the term "cowboy" originally took inspiration from Mexican ranchers (or “hacendados”), but then the definition changed and expanded a bit (to refer to outlaws or frontiersmen).
Although, I suppose it would be more accurate to say that some cowboys had Native American ancestry. In fact, many notorious black cowboys of the old west had Native American blood or were related to their culture in some way. As in the case of Rufus Buck, Nat Love, Cheroke Bill, Jim Beckwourth, Bill Pickett, Bass Reeves and others.
I don't consider myself an expert on the history of the American Old West, nor do I claim to be. I just find it fascinating and very interesting. Sorry if I offended anyone.

I always leave room for inaccuracy when things come from some sort of alternate timeline or something. 1890's Texas didn't have crop tops or rocket launchers or blondes, but it also didn't have Marni and dimension hopping 🤷 figure it's fictional either way

The thing was that they clearly stated she is from our world during the ball, and that one of the new devs was the new ‘real life class’ being released, which was honestly very confusing. The whole thing was confusing, why didn’t they just make her from Ulukita, then everything would’ve been fine. I literally couldn’t stomach playing bdo after seeing that trailer lmao I’ve logged in a handful of times since then because there are other games that don’t annoy the historian in me that I enjoy more 😂
