    Had them since release and honestly love them. Have added 0.4K to my iRating in about six weeks after plateauing for a while and put it down to this upgrade. As you mention, people should probably cost for a heel plate if they don’t already have one, as distance between rig pedal plate and pedal face will be too much for the majority of shoe sizes. I made mine out of some stiffened foam insert I bought off eBay for fairly cheap and reversed the pedal face 180 degrees, for example.

      I love these pedals, but yea think a heel rest is a must with these

    I have been running HE Sprints for a few years. I like them. These, however, look so much more sleek and robust. I assume they would perform very similarly to my Sprints. Therefore I cannot justify buying them. However, I keep coming back to look at them. I hope to make the Austin sim racing expo and maybe try them out. They would pair well with my P1-X.

    • @TheSimCircuit
      @TheSimCircuit  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have both these and sprints. The sprints are capped at 65kg brake pressure in the software the xp1 can go a fair bit beyond that. The XP1’s also have more adjustments out of box you get 5 different elastomers and 3 different springs and a solid aluminium spacer if you don’t want to use a spring.
      Imo the XP1’s definitely the better pedal however I would not recommend you sell your sprints unless you max out the brake and want some more pressure available to use.
      However simlabs do offer specials a couple of times a year so maybe wait and see what’s happening on Black Friday if you do feel like a change 🙌🏻

    I have had 2 major failing with the throttle pedal, on both times the magnetic sensor has sheard off the pedal. Both were terminal, after the 1st one simplace replaced the pedal quickly without any fuss, however after the second failing, Sim Lab has said they will repair it, 1 failing can be down to anything, however 2 failings, means to me the pedals are not Fit for purpose

      I love running my xp1’s especially now I got the haptics connected to them 🤩 the xp1’s are more adjustable that’s why I prefer using them but if the addons like hydraulics are important to you then p1000s are ones to go with 🤷🏼‍♂️

    • @TheSimCircuit
      @TheSimCircuit  ปีที่แล้ว

      Haptics will be a diy job on these, not impossible but allot of work. If you want haptic feedback go with SiMagic. Watch my latest video about the p1000 the brakes are now fixed. Still not as accurate as what these pedals are but will now be ok for 99% of sim racers. If shakers are not a priority then go with the SimLab xp1 pedals.
      Choices are getting much harder for us not like few years ago when choices were limited.

  • @reviewforthetube6485
    @reviewforthetube6485 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Why yes! Yes they will! Lol
    Also please keep in mind gt3 and gt4 cara do not have stiff brakes thats a false narrative that sim racing brands ran with. I own 2 and I run a bmw gt3 they have way more travel then most sim pedals do. Most real gt3 drivers will also tell you as gamer muscle and othera interviewed all said more travel then sim racing pedals have. It helps with modulation in a real car and trail braking. Its also why i run my pedals with mote travle like dan sazuka and others I know do. You wiuld be truely surprised how a real gt3 brake feels. Look up a video of a real gt3 brake being used it will blow your mind. This was just a sim brand saying something was realistic and other brqnda ran with it. Luckoly now we are getting much different pedals now truely realistic. Like the gt3 preset for simucube active pedals hsve more travek then you would expect it eas madr by a professional. That preset i mean. The p2000s out of the box is the closes ive felt to a real gt3 brake. Almost identical to my bmw.
    I think simlabs out of the box are shockingly close also. Just not as good with the progressive feel. It should be very progresive and very easy to modulate
    Best thing to do is go watch random callsigns video on debinking som pedals by pro racers.
    You would absolutely love that video and its very informative about brake pedals and the false narrative made by sim brands when you hear just how much more travel real brakes have. Most sim pedals that are brick walls are more like f1 pedals.

    • @TheSimCircuit
      @TheSimCircuit  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Il go look for that video matey, I do think it’s great that there is option for stiff brake pedals on the market. I personally do prefer a harder brake pedal and find myself almost always fitting harder springs and elastomers than what is normally fitted onto pedals. I been using p500 last few weeks and have also gotten use to a softer pedals only fitted with springs and the p500 were very accurate.
      This weekend at the expo I tried quite a few pedals but naturally just because I like harder brake I did enjoy using SRP pedals that were setup very hard and I was testing the new Invicta wheel for an hour plus on an all Asetek setup and love the Invicta pedals and I love my invictas lol 🤦🏼‍♂️ I think you are referring to Asetek when talking about making everyone believe you need a harder pedal right?
      But anyway what I am trying to say badly is that brakes are so subjective what feels great for someone else does not for others 🤷🏼‍♂️ I would probably say that 9 out of 10 people don’t like hard brakes but I am definitely one of the ones that do 🤷🏼‍♂️ I will do my best going forward with new pedals I review to maybe make a scale of how stiff pedals are at their softest and hardest setup 😘

    Congratulations for your videos. ONE QUESTION, PLEASE: Between the Sim-Lab XP1 and the Simagic P1000 pedals, which is the best, according to your experience and your tests?
    Thank you in advance.

    • @TheSimCircuit
      @TheSimCircuit  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you are buying the standard P1000’s then I think Sim-Lab XP1 pedals are better. However if you upgrade the p1000 pedals then I think the p1000’s are slightly better but after upgrading the p1000’s they will cost allot more than the XP1 pedals.
      I think out of the box the XP1 pedals offer allot for the money they can be adjusted to suit almost any sim racer but you can’t upgrade the XP1’s but I did get the SiMagic shakers to work on my XP1 pedals. Again this is a tough decision 😂🫣

    Would you prefer these over the Asetek Invicta pedals?

    • @TheSimCircuit
      @TheSimCircuit  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Personally I prefer these but only because the invictas you need to push with allot of power to be able to utilise the 2 stage braking, I have an injury in my left knee so the SimLabs more comfortable to me to use.
      SimLabs very adjustable can feel like a real sports car or stiffened like a race car.
      Asetek makes no excuses they are emulating real race cars so pedals very short travel & very stiff
      Both amazing sets of pedals

    How do they compare to the P1000’s hydraulic brake either haptics?

    • @TheSimCircuit
      @TheSimCircuit  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Obviously missing the haptic feedback allot as it is a game changer but these are more precise and accurate for sure even when compared to the p1000 PHYS hydraulic system. So if you are a professional sim racer I think that 5% difference in drop off might be something to consider but for the likes of 99% of simracers I would say the 5-8% drop off with the siMagic p1000 is acceptable. Also the SimLab pedals are not hydraulic 🤷🏼‍♂️ choices are getting harder in the Sim market 😊

    • @TheSimCircuit
      @TheSimCircuit  ปีที่แล้ว

      I just had a look and I can’t see any problems with mounting them if that’s what you are worried about.
      I would consider a good rig and pedals probably thee most important things when buying sim gear. Yes a direct drive base is nice but without a solid foundation it’s no good and as for pedals they are the one thing that can certainly make you faster and more consistent compared to other upgrades.
      I would say if you are planning on buying both a set of pedals & a rig then go ahead and buy the pedals as it won’t be a money wasted cause when you do buy a rig you just gona slap them onto your new rig anyway 🙌🏻
