    Surely a 15 button multi functional elgato stream deck with its endless pages would be a more productive and usable unit even if you just us it as a button box is the better and vastly cheaper option. I think you dropped the ball on this one my guy

    • @TheSimCircuit
      @TheSimCircuit  17 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      No regrets matey it's absolutely beautiful, I own a stream deck but quality on this far superior, when using an elgato for multiple tasks and programs I can understand however on a dedicated sim rig I prefer this. I do get blinded easly by flashing lights 😆

    • @jps072

      @ price point is a bit extreme in comparison to the stream deck but what really counts is personal choice and if I could afford a standalone button box like this I would but our hobby is an expensive one and upgrade are regular and never cheap. For many of us it’s all about priorities. The stream deck does all this button box does and more with the ability to use illuminated button skins not stickers.

    • @greg_takacs

      Literally just buy the Elgato Stream Deck MK2. It's a 3x5 button box with LCD display and customization for every button. You can have infinite number of pages of different buttons that can control anything and everything. This thing is an eye candy but the Stream Deck has way more usability and flexibility. I also race in VR so the aesthetics are a don't care. I bought a nice carbon-fiber looking frame for my stream deck and mounted it on my rig with that. It looks perfect and works awesome.

    Love the form factor. But the price…sheesh.
    The fact for this price it makes use of stickers is a let down to me to be honest.
    I race and fly on my simrig and with stickers I’m bound to what I put on there to make sense.
    When a vendor would make such a button box like this with making use of buttons where you can set text and icons to dynamically like the channel strip labels used on a Behringer X32 mixing table for example (and then for this price)…. I would be sold

    Overpriced. Way overpriced...
    Yeah it's a niche product but seriously - for that money you could literally buy a streamdeck AND a whole decent multi channel audio controller like the hercules stream 100.
    That not only allows you to control the chat volume, it even comes with a nice control display, faders, monitoring, knobs, buttons... oh boy.
    And yes, that combo does a dozen times more at nearly the same footprint.
    There's nothing spectacular about the quality, design or construction. Honestly, what we're being "sold" here is just flavor - for everyone that likes to fiddle around with sticker sheets in 2025...

    The fact you customize the button description with stickers is extremely disappointing.
