I played the hell out of this back in the day.
My brother and I had a movie series called "Drunk Monkey", and the plot was always the same. We would use the gorilla costume, and the protagonist would start off in a bar, drinking his life away when something happens either in the bar, or on his way home. Kidnapped by a serial killer, attacked by aliens, pretty much anything.
He would always be killed at the end, but the abrupt, final scene would be him laying on the floor of the bar. It was all a dream.

I have a feeling that in 70 years, on a strange platform called "TH-cam" that exists within the weird invention called the "World Wide Web", some guy who calls himself a "TH-camr" will make a funny video about the film Moonworm that will get popular and this wonderful underrated movie that was ahead of its time will finally get the recognition it deserves. A happy ending. I love happy endings!

    10:00. Released. A review.
This is truly a film for the ages. Words cannot express the tension, cuttable with a knife, that was felt as sadman turned those pages. The changing of his wardrobe was symbolic, as if sadman knew it was his last day on earth. I never would have predicted that tragic ending, heartbreaking and gut-renching. Perhaps my favorite thing about this film is the incredible acting. Though critisized, you can tell that the lead put considerable time and effort into looking smart as he read his book. The dark lighting truly exponentially multiplied the magnitude of emotions that swept through everybody in the theatre in that climactic finale. Trash Studios has brought us a cult classic for the ages, and even though it is an old film, it is still worth a rewatch.

As someone who talks about movies on my channel occasionally I must say that Kevin is a Hollywood genius, his movies made under the name of Trash Films can truly be studied in classrooms. This should be a studio built on a reputation it's ability to create high art with every single movie that's made in the game. It explores and deconstructs the full meaning of what it is to be a star, what the expectations are, defying said expectations, technology as a fear in a way that both applies to the 1950's and today. It's only there if you really open your mind to interpretation which is why Kevin's films are so good. Are the actors forgetting their lines or is it an artistic statement on exposing the artificiality inherent in making movies that's only appeared there and nowhere else?

I had so much fun playing this game. I changed the game's script to unlock everything, made a "sandbox" save with a lot of resources and got the expansion pack with special effects and camera you can set the direction of. I was working on a scene-by-scene remake of "Plan 9 from Outer Space", but then Windows had a security issue and Microsoft's "fix" for it made it impossible to play most games on disc.
One of my big gripes with the "regular" mode with the business sim is that your progress seems to be based on your overall "average" scores, so if you don't keep surpassing competing studios, you get stuck in mediocrity, unable to unlock things you need to make movies with a higher star score

I went the extra mile and put all the game files on a hard drive, so whenever I want to play it, I just plug the hard drive into my computer 🖥️❤🎥. But let me tell you, it wasn't easy! I had to watch a ton of janky tutorial videos and almost give my computer a virus in the process. I don't recommend it to people, but I seriously love this game! 🎬👍🏻 It's even more of a bummer that it won't play on modern hardware very well. 💔 It's just so sad and disappointing to see such a great game and idea be cast aside! It was really the best trash films has to offer. Syfy horror ahead of its time, they trully peaked as a studio when they made it. It was unavoidable they would only go down after that.

Vampire-Robot with the voice of JFK would be something I'd watch.

From what I remember this game's default movie studio name is "Tee Rash Studios", so Kevin naming his "Trash Films" proves he was on the same wavelength as the developers when playing this

You know how all actors tell the same story like "I wasn't even competing for the role, I just got to the audition with a friend who wanted the role and they told me I looked perfect for the part!", well in the kevinverse that is more or less like this "I was a janitor for a movie company and one day the producer looked me in the eyes and told me I was going to be a great movie star! Of course, the movies I did never made any money and I'm starting to think that they just needed someone willing to act, but whatever..."

I actually had something similar happen to me in a student film. Except I was going to talk to them about being an extra and they asked me if I was interested auditioning. Mainly cause they hadn't found someone that looked the part they needed and they told me the last girl couldn't take directions. I hadn't attended any auditions before that, I think, but thankfully there wasn't enough time to get nervous about a sudden audition. Less nervous since it was a student film and not a big company.

More like Kevin's godly hand looked down on them and forcefully dragged their bodies to a specific area and then made them a prisoner, magically. 😂
