- Disney's All Star Sports resort has finally reopened after over 2 years, and with that, now ALL Walt Disney World resort hotels are finally reopened! Join us for a full tour of the newly reopened resort on its grand reopening weekend! I give you a room tour of an un-refurbished room, full tour of the resort, showing off its fun and DISNEY-fied theming, take a swim in the pool, play games in the arcade, get made into Marvel superheroes, eat lunch, dinner and breakfast in the End Zone Food Court, including a full pizza for the room and Mickey waffles for breakfast! Jackie you’re killing it in 2022! Those road trip vlogs were phenomenal and now you come back with some old school Disney that brings back so many memories. My whole family was smiling through the entire vlog. We loved watching you play in the arcade and seeing that cast member do the cheer. Beautiful vlog, please keep it up!

It’s the only places I could afford to stay for so long so it’s got a lot of happy memories for me and it’s still so fun 🥹
I totally agree. These resorts make you really feel like you are in disney. Even if I was rich I don't think I'd stay in the deluxe or moderate resorts. I think they are lovely hotels but they are too much like ordinary nice hotels for my taste. The theming in the budget resorts makes me feel like I'm in the real disney bubble

I love the All Star Sports Resort. I stayed there in 1994 which was the year the resort opened. I stayed there because I am a voice actor and I had just narrated a new ride for Walt Disney World and now that ride has been there just as long as the All Star Resorts have been there!
Loved seeing the old style rooms. My wife and I honeymooned at All Star Music way back in 96. And I’m old enough to remember $49 AP rates at the All Stars. They will always have a special place in my heart. Thanks for sharing Jackie.

It really was a “Blast to the Past” to see the Olde School, non-refurbished room! Definitely takes one back to long-ago, simpler days when family trips were fun and affordable. Yes, I agree, the modern rooms have more amenities, but there still is a wonderful Charm to the old-style rooms. It’s nice that things are nearby and the food court also had a Nostalgic feel to it. When I was little we used to stay at the All Star Music. The old rooms with the star lamps in the early 2000's are a core memory! Great to see the old style of rooms still exist.

Jackie I totally agree with everything you said! I grew up going to the All Stars in the 90s and early 2000s. I have so many memories of breakfast at the food court and playing in the pool with my parents. They have so much personality and are the epitome of what a Disney hotel should be. Thanks for bringing me on a trip down memory lane!

There’s something about the nostalgic vibe of the All Stars & Pop Century. The refurbished rooms are def nicer - but think of it this way, this may the last “old style” room you’ll ever see & now you’ll never forget it! 😁 A nice way to flashback to pre-pandemic times too! Can’t wait for more travel adventures!
Yesss that’s exactly how I was thinking of it, even tho the new rooms have a lot of pros, it was nice to get one more stay in an old style room.

Love that you went to All Star Sports right away to show us what it’s looking like after the 2 year closure. Would definitely like to see you stay at / tour other value resorts. Like you, my early Disney memories were in those value reports. 💫🙂
The value resorts definitely have more of a cartoon whimsical feel. I agree. The Riviera Resort is nice but it seems like a Hilton with Disney posters in the lobby
To be fair, the Riviera is probably the worst example of a Disney hotel in terms of theming. Nothing like, say, the Wilderness Lodge.

The newly refurbished ones are nice , but I prefer the old rooms like this one 😊❤️It’s more of a Disney feel to them !

I’m so happy all the resorts are back open! I’m a 2018 Pop Century Front Desk CP and I know how much joy the value resorts bring to families and all kinds of guests. The rooms are small and cozy but the whole entire resort is so fun and amazing to look at 💕

Love your positivity! As far as value resorts, we've only stayed at POP, but totally agree with a number of your comments! We love the nostalgia!, and the "in your face" Disney vibe, which we love. The old styling of the rooms tugs at our heart strings, but having stayed at POP in the new renovated style, I LOVE the new updated rooms much better. (Queen beds, large TV, one bed folds up for more room during the days, nice fridge, etc...)
I appreciate your videos and your Disney spirit so much. I'm a Mom of 2 and there is so much pressure to get the best hotel and buy everything. Your videos are so helpful and this one especially made me reconsider staying at one of the All Star Resorts. At the end of the day, the kids aren't going to know the difference in money spent but they will enjoy many of the things you showed in this video. I look forward to hearing your future cost saving tips and the bright light you shine on not just Disney but all of the hotels and experiences.
Exactly and I agree! I see so much pressure to do everything big and expensive and it’s just not necessary to have a good time! Even when I do my Magic Kingdom videos, I tend to focus on the simple, old school fun that’s still there to be had.

I like seeing low budget hotels. Not everyone can afford The expensive hotels on top of the price of all the tickets. Love your swim suite too! So cute!
I too grew up in Florida and yes! These were the hotels to stay in! My go-to was always All Star Music ❤️ The good old days.
We stayed at all star music a few years ago and really enjoyed it, especially the food court 😀

The All Star Resorts were always the go to for me and my family when I was growing up too! The more affordable the hotel room, the more money we had for dining, souvenirs, etc

I am glad you are able to experience an All-Star Resort again. When we lived in the Orlando area, we rarely spent the night over there, but once splurged to stay in All-Star Music to be able to stay out late for the fireworks and not have to drive home. Talk about memories, the main thing I remember is that my husband bought a box of mixed chocolates at a local candy store to bring with us to enjoy. What he didn't know was that some were sugar free and had an ingredient in them that kept him in the bathroom most of the night! My son and I ended up heading to the parks by ourselves until he recovered! We did love staying there though for the convenience.
