- Join us for a stay at Disney's POP Century Resort as we kick off summer 2023! I am bringing you along with a full tour of Disney's coolest value resort, themed to the 1950s-1990s, with big, bright, beautiful theming, including the giant Mickey Mouse telephone, Roger Rabbit, Lady & The Tramp and so much more! We explore Everything POP Shopping & Dining where we check out their huge selection of Disney parks merchandise and resort specific merch, they have so much and all the latest lines too! And of course we have lunch, dinner and breakfast in the food court, check out the arcade and more. We had some incredible afternoon storms, beautiful summer rain and glorious blazing sunsets! Enjoyed time in the Hippy Dippy Pool aka the 60's pool, and explored the entire resort, the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s buildings and theming, and enjoyed both daytime and nighttime views and strolls of the resort! Such a fun way to kick off summer 2023, with resort stays, pool time and fun! Hope you enjoyed this Disney hotel stay and full tour of POP Century!

Pop was the first resort I ever stayed at. It was so cool. The ground where massive and it had everything to offer.
Pop Century was the first Disney resort my kids and wife stayed at. We were actually there the first weekend it was open. Now that our kids are grown, my wife and I have stayed here and really enjoyed the changes.
Wow that is so cool!! I love how they’ve stayed true to that funky, over the top style all over the resort grounds. Even though the rooms are plain and simple now, at least the rest of the resort is like being in a big, nostalgic cartoon world!

Loved Pop Century! Stayed there in 2007 for my 50th and got a voice message and a card from Mickey and Minnie!
Love those touches. Sadly no post card now, they used to leave them in the room. And sometimes mail you one after.

I remember staying here in like, oh geez I think it was 2012? I was 11 at the time so I don't remember much but I remember the outside of the hotel! I also saw a lizard for the first time and was very excited. It rained while I was there too and I was so disappointed I couldn't swim at the time I wanted to 😂 Thank you for bringing back such good memories and, of course, taking us along!

Pop Century is my family's Disney home! It was the first resort we ever stayed at and just love it. We've stayed at Contemporary once, but actually missed this one! The skyliner is a huge deal for us too! Thanks, Jackie!

Pop will always be a special place for us. We spent my 40th birthday week there and even though we are DVC we still stay there occasionally. LOVE it there!

I did my CP at the Front Desk of Pop and this made me so happy! I hope you and Sam had a groovy time ❤ my favorite statue there is the PlayDoh because you can see details of thumb prints pressed again the playdoh animals

Just left there yesterday. Had the 60’s building. This is our new go-to resort. Skyliner access makes park travel a lot easier.

Great tour of the resort. I have stayed here a couple of times but never been back to see the 90’s and 80’s pool area. The Surfing Goofy area used to be a kids splash pad and now it is the campfire area. Thank you for sharing.

Our absolute favorite! This year will be pur 5th stay at POP and we can't imagine staying anywhere else.

I booked it trying to save money, as a "value" hotel I assumed it would be the level of a Holiday Inn and just a place to sleep while we went to the parks, and it totally impressed us- we loved the updated rooms, the super comfy beds, the heated pool, the Disney TV, the Skyliner, all of the fun theming- even the convenient and affordable dining hall. It was a great experience! My daughter's favorite part of the whole trip was swimming the Hippie Dippie pool, no joke (in January, mind you!) Would definitely stay there again.

Back in the day,Pop Century was my favorite resort to stay at. It was a value resort but unlike the All-Star resorts, it had a dedicated bus stop. You could also get cheaper rooms by not saying near the pool which was double dipping for us because we didn't have kids and it was quieter as well.
This looks such a fun resort with a lot of cute activities.

Can't beat that 30% AP discount! Love POP, it's one of my go too resorts. The location, the fun theming, the skyliner..you can't go wrong! Its super great. The best way to pass the time while waiting for the rain is with a fun drink before and after pool time 😁 I can't wait to get back soon!

Hi Jackie and Sam. I prefer a Pina Colada in the rain at Pop Century, instead of eating corn in the rain at Castaway Cay. I was thinking about the Yo-Yo weather, just before you were talking about the Yo-Yo weather. Everything looks amazing, even in the rain. All Goofy wants to do is catch a Wave. I always thought as they decided not to open the early years off pop century that it should have been renamed pop decades resort. You and Sam do the best videos on TH-cam.
We stayed in a '90s room on the ground floor facing the parking lot. We had a rental car. We hopped in our car and took a quick drive around to the main building. When we got off the parks bus our car was right there in the main parking lot and drove around to our building. It saved that long walk.

stayed at POP Century last year and i absolutely loved it. the remodel made the rooms look super modern which i love and that skyliner location is prime.
I do like the clean floors and don’t mind the more simple look. The skyliner being right there is soooo convenient.
Oh Jackie, you and Sam are extra cutie in your matching shirts! I love this video! POP has been on our bucket list for a long time. I'm so into nostalgia, this is right up my alley. And the skyliner? Wow! I love the vintage looking table and chairs in the king room. All other rooms have the pull down bed/ table. Thanks for the fun video😊👍💖✌👍😊

Pop Century is awesome, our go to resort for trips
I love Pop Century I always stay there when on vacation.
My favorite value resort is All Star Movies. When I stay in one of those places, that's my go-to. But, when ASM isn't available, Pop Century is my second favorite. I have a DVC membership, but a couple of times we ran out of points for the year, so we visit a value resort. We like them! Our last stay at Pop Century was in 2020. The pandemic shut-down had JUST ended, and not a lot was open. We were very happy to stay there. It was VERY comfortable and reasonably quiet. The pool was great! It was fantastic to see it from your point of view. Great video.
We stay at the Art of Animation because we like the two bedroom suites. We are a multigenerational family so it fits us perfectly. These value resorts are fantastic!
