I was thinking of putting Lucio San Pedro's illegal arrangement of the anthem instead but that would be too much. However, yeah today it would be illegal to change the melody of the anthem, but only if it is done in the context of being presented as *the* National Anthem. This however is alright i guess since it's not the "anthem," but an orchestral work that just uses the melody. Gray area though.
@@ImWalde I don't get why it is illegal to rearrange, it's not like "The Day of the Dead" is an original tradition of ours. And it's not like culture today will forever stay the same.

@@ImWalde It is indeed tricky as there is legislation for that: Republic Act 8491, more known as the "Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines"
