Great job, Alan!
One of my favorite composers
2:29 tristan chord?
3:29 is Dixie
I've been a Mahler fan for 25 years and I just now discovered this and Rott in general. How did I not know?? Also, I do hear hints of Scriabin in this.
this music is used in one the bayanihan dance with all female dancer called en la luneta too
Great work! One of my favourite masses since now. But why is the Gloria at the end? Just for the bombastic ending?
I'm not sure about the old Roman Rite, but the Gloria is at the end of the Anglican communion service according to the Book of Common Prayer (1662), which is what was in use in England at the time.
@@jonathanhughes1517 ok, because usually it's between the Kyrie and Credo
@@AbnerIMAlvarado as in many Anglican churches today.
Jumpscare at the beginning.
Dat motif at the beginning 0_o
Where is my comment? I thanked for this score, and asked if there is some shop where I could buy or a library where I could obtain photocopies.
Thanks a lot for the upload!❤😊 I didn't know this composer before, but he seems at first listen to be pretty fine😮
I like the way you play it Martin B. It’s very expressive. I have the piece. It was prepared by my uncle as his project in school. I played it. It’s very nice but very difficult.
That Liszt's piano concerto was genius!
I can't believe shes my great grandmother❤️❤️

This is our National anthem must be played.
The negative comments are hilarious. It's so easy to judge this symphony with 200 years of hindsight.
lovely - thank you for sharing this :)
IS ANYONE HERE BECAUSE OF SOSLIT SUBJECT? HAHAHAHAHAHA
Excellent 😊
I remember hearing a more recent Philippine recording of this included in the "Kyriale de Baclayon" book and CD released a few years back
Just a thought. Did a Mestizo/Indio make this?
6:02 It's beginning of Prokofiev's 3rd Piano Concerto
❤❤❤
Thanks for uploading!
extremely mahlerian! what a sad death
2:24 🧅
On May 7, 1824, Ludwig van Beethoven premiered his 9th and last symphony called Chorale, in Vienna. Here we are, today May 7, 2024, some 200 years later, God Bless Ludwig, and what would be the most powerful, spiritual and brutal musical work taught to the world. But if that were not enough, every time in my life that I lose my reason, my conscience, the motivation to even live, I can never help but hear the Ode to Joy echoing. And although I don't express it, I always break into tears of happiness remembering every word and every letter that the choir makes great.
Fucking Based
a day late but MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU
The first movement is Maestoso in the video, but Moderato in the description. I believe the video is correct.
Bravo!
It's incredibly powerful. I've been waiting to see the score for this piece for a long time.
As far as I know, second theme on the sixth degree is highly non-standard in the classical period. That's one of the main things that make me think it's not actually Mozart. Still, it's a lovely symphony that deserves to be better known!
0:00 KYRIE (from Maranaw musical themes) 2:03 SANCTUS (from Hanunu-o) 4:30 AGNUS DEI (from Hinilawod)

Excellent.....BRAVO from Ixtapan de la Sal, Mexico!
